We visit this pub in Poynton several times a year, and have never had a problem. However today we waited 45 minutes for 1 meal. It had obviously been sat on the pass a long time as it was barely aired. The server didn't offer an apology until pressed but then it wasn't genuine so meant nothing! My mum didn't want to send it back as she was worried what they might do to her food. Very disappointed in the pub we usually find ok

The Pwllheli, North Wales restaurant was a great experience. Food was hot, timely and staff were friendly and helpful. I cannot understand some of the reviews in that most Wetherspoons I have visited have always been very good. Obviously if you look for 5 star meals, it is not going to happen but there again the price reflects that. It’s cheap and cheerful and pleasant enough. Bottom line, it’s worth the money you pay for it.
I watched the staff working together in Pwllheli, clearing and resetting tables. It was efficient and showed a great team ethic. It’s good to see staff working so well together.

Ordered drinks via the app. It Took my money and cancelled the order.
Went to the bar only to be told I will have to pay again and they would sort refund with their cash control. Plenty of emails back and fourth with all the info! Absolutely disgusting! The queens picture house, waterloo 30th March

Worst night and meal ever!!! Unfortunately have to leave 1 star as cannot leave none.. St annes wetherspoons meals were barely warm and not very nice. Thought this was a family pub, visited with our two older children. Ordered at 8.30pm, brought the drinks, then the food, then to be told we would have to leave at 9pm. Was forced out of the place, when we had barely finished the food and not allowed to finish our drinks. Only left because the staff had upset our daughter by keep coming back to tell us to leave at 9.05pm. Ordered a glass of wine which was awful. Also had run out of salt.

I've been to the Thomas Waghorn in Chatham with 6 members of my family. I throughly enjoyed our trip. Joe at the till took our order and checked everything as he went and prompted us when something was missing that we were entitled to. Pub was medium busy upstairs but the food came out quickly and everyone enjoyed their meals

Yet again they mess up something simple. Specifically the Foley Arms in Malvern. When they did missed grills I had to return 5 of them. Today, all I wanted was a breakfast. Instead I got solid toast, a thin piece of something I believed to be the bacon, no eggs at all for some reason, two cold sausages and about 11 baked beans. I also had to wait 55 minutes for that. While everyone else at the table got their food and finished it I was still waiting. Ended up going to a coffee shop to get a sandwich instead.

Prince of wales in Cardiff has the worst staff worst security I’ve ever witnessed. Bullying an 18 year old girl on her first night out because the waitress took her the wrong drink and blamed her. She got called a thief and was told to leave. Vile people absolutely disgusted.

went to wetherspoons accrington today 7 of us all had different meals with side orders . the food came all perfect nothing missing food was really nice great service the staff were very busy but polite and friendly . the table was clean and tidy plenty of menus i would highly recommend x

After a run of fairly good visits, things went a bit south tonight.
11" med veg pizza was good. Fries were cold. Sticky Korean fried chicken was pretty good, but didn't have much sticky sauce. Halloumi fries were way over done and should've went in the bin. Southern fried chicken strips good.
If something is messed up (like the halloumi fries for instance), just hold your hands up and do it again. Even if it is in a place that weighs the fries out.

Cleveleys Wetherspoon I’m sill sat here and I can’t believe how bad and slapdash it has become, I’ve just let them take my meal away and couldn’t even be bothered to complain it that bad,

we have been to spoons for years, and other than the odd meal here and there, we order the same thing. a tea. a coffee and a plate of chips, usually at lunch to fill in.
by and large we get a piping hot bowls of super chips, but for some reason this week we have had 2 lukewarm ones, i mean who on earth likes lukewarm chips. last week in barnsley she actually argued with me that they were hot, i mean i had eaten 2 for gods sake. of course she offered to fetch me some fresh, but you NEVER complain about a chef then order more food from him...heh heh asking for trouble. in morley last friday, back to wonderful, 5 stars. in ilkley today, back to lukewarm, and the place was quiet..maybe that was it, but come on guys, just drop them back in.....

Went to nine arches in newton-le-willows, normally lovely friendly staff but today 29.3.26, somebody was having a bad day and wanted everyone else to join in.

There's a blonde middle aged woman barking at everyone and speaking to customers like we have come to her house and asked to be served, how do people like this have a job with the public! Puts you off coming here again.

We went for breakfast to the Velvet Coaster, Blackpool this morning and was very disappointed. The eggs were overcooked and trimmed to a 2"square. The bacon was very tuff and stale. The sausage tasteless and cheap. The beans were served in a dish and both portions were different in size, both small, barely a spoonful. At £4.09 it was a waste of money. I told a waiter about it but he just shrugged and mumbled something barely audible and that was it. Shall not be going back.

Weatherspoon's is a magical place. One of only two British institutions that is run properly - the other being HMRC.

You know where you are with Wetherspoons, up until the room begins to swim. Is there piss all over the toilets? Yes, and at no extra charge. Are the tables sticky? Yes, and they cradle your pint. Are the staff pleased to see you? Well, maybe you're the problem.

The food: edible. The drinks: alcoholic. The women: voluptuous.

Everything is simply done better, from the pricing, to the hangovers. May it soldier on in perpetuity.

We had the misfortune to visit the Lord of the Isles last night. We have been a couple of times and the breakfasts are normally good value for money with only a few cold items. Last night we tried their curry night, what a disaster. Very small portions and my curry had five small pieces of hard dried up chicken pieces. My granddaughter had tomato pasta which appeared on the table like a dogs dinner, no presentation , purely pasta slapped on the plate.
The worst thing was the large fish and chips. When it appeared my wife looked at it and said she ordered a large portion. The chap said that was a large portion. Small piece of fish , hardly any chips and dried up peas. At almost £14.00 it was a disgrace and would have cost less than £4.00 to produce. I tried to complain but there was a distinct lack of staff. If you go at night time be prepared to have to order a takeaway later. Poor value for money

Been using wetherby Wetherspoon's since it opened in December and found it to be excellent for a quick meal and a pint ( or a coffee).
Very polite and friendly staff, clean and tidy surroundings. Only 1 small point could really do with another coffee machine.
Keep up the good service.

I Went to the rocket in putney and asked for a spicey chicken pizza, pulled one of the staff after pizza delivered to ask where the kichen was and he pointed out 4 pieces on said here you go i would attach photos but i wont eat here again as this is ridiculous

Team Leader Chris very kindly helped us settle in to a busy Cardiff Bay branch and took time to explain how his pub worked, made us very welcome and checked on us later to ensure we were ok and enjoyed our experience which we did
