The staff at JT Hughes Shrewsbury Honda were good because they are friendly, efficient and know what they're doing. Everything from collecting the car, bringing it back, the service and a good clean were great.

Yet again I have issues getting my motability vehicle serviced.

It was booked in yesterday with a courtesy car yet they didn't carry out the service.

However they want to charge 0.3 litre of oil £43.02.

Beware of this dealership

Sold my car to JT Hughes that was arranged through Carwow. Everything with JT Hughes went fine until it came to the actual collection of the vehicle. I had been liaising with a guy named Ben and I got a call from him prior to collection demanding I send him the details of the bank account for the money to be paid into so that they could pay off the remaining finance on my vehicle.

When I tried to explain to him that this was not financed as such as it was a personal loan and was not secured against the vehicle, he was more adamant to argue with me and insisted that I was wrong and insinuated that in general people couldn't be trusted as I "could just not pay the finance company" and then the vehicle would be seized etc. Despite me repeatedly saying, it was a personal loan secured against me personally, he was completely not interested in listening to me.

Come the day of collection, driver turned up as agreed, he then phoned Ben to agree the transfer of funds and as suspected, this is where it got a little sticky. This resulted in quite a bit of waiting around whilst they were frantically panicking with their finance department who were unable to (not surprisingly) pay the sum of money directly to the bank.

Some time later, I received an expected call back from him apologising and telling me that his finance department have told him that as it's a personal loan, it's secured against me personally and there's no way to pay externally directly into this...

Listen to your customers!

After what I thought was a great purchase of a car, it seems that it has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a while! After looking round the Audi Q3 with Robert Armstrong we pointed out a few things which needed sorting such as a small paint chip on the bonnet, a few small dents and the back two tyres needed changing due to being cracked. When picking up the car it looked as if all the tyres had been changed but in reality they haven’t. When driving home the TPS light came on but when looking at the tyres they all looked fine so I reset it and carried on with my day. 3 days later after driving home from work the same tyre warning came up and I had a flat tyre! After being recovered, I spoke with JT Hughes who requested I took my car there but how can I trust them now once this has happened?!? They have not wanted to take any responsibility in regards to replacing the tyres which we agreed in the original sale which just makes me think what other things may of been missed? I would avoid this disloyal company and take your business else where unless you want to made to feel as if they do not trust you etc

We brought our Mitsubishi with JT Hughes in Telford. A couple of weeks after buying the car we had a recall on the vehicle for a fault on the emergency braking system. For various reasons, mostly due to their appalling after sales department, my wife took the car away before they had touched the car and carried out any work on it whatsoever.
However, that didn't stop them putting the recall as carried out!!!
