And the Dust collecter (me dusty) aboustly game changer I used have big massive one. And kb one amazing rechargeable aboustly spot on. And the nail art brushes are my go to brushes now. Xx

Fantastic desk lamp, bargain in the sale, only loses 1 star as the base pole is not movable , would be good if you could twist it so it has 360° movability. Fast delivery and good settings on brightness

I strongly advise others to think carefully before buying from Katie Barnes Tool Range.

I purchased an electric nail file in 2024 (£209.30) which broke within 9 months. I had to pay tracked return postage and was initially told it hadn’t been received — only after I provided proof of delivery did they “find” it. They replaced the e-file, but the replacement broke again within 9 months.

When I asked for a refund, they refused, saying my warranty expired 12 months after the original purchase, even though the replacement failed well within what should be a reasonable lifespan. They have now refused to offer anything other than a paid repair, despite the product clearly not being durable.

Customer service has been extremely disappointing, and I have had to spend months chasing this up. I would not buy from them again and cannot recommend their products.

Absolutely 5⭐️ on all products that I have purchased and it’s a lot there all 11/10 amazing quality best of the best. Absolutely love the new brushes 👏 Katie and her team are fab thank you for all the hard work you put in for the nail industry 👸 💅🏽

Received a marketing email claiming 30% off site wide no exclusions or limitations contained on the email. Went online to purchase some items with the code which then didn’t work. Emailed the company who said the code wouldn’t work with newly released items. When I pointed out that their email didn’t state this and this was in breach of trading standard laws, I was blamed and guilt tripped as they are only a small family run business and didn’t appreciate my email. I have since been removed from their marketing emails and customer data base with immediate effect. The way the emails have been sent to me I wouldn’t want to purchase anything else and feel for new customers or anyone who has an issue.

Excellent quality products and education. The pedi bit has changed the game for my pedicure services, as I can now help clients with corns.

Katie barnes as a company always respond quickly and politely. They are very engaged with their customers. I have found the training and the equipment to be of a high standard and trust them with their products. I recently invested in their desk lamp and was very satisfied. I also have their efile and it has outlasted many of the files that my fellow classmates bought. I only buy my efile bits from them and best of all I love that they are a British company!

Always helpful and polite. Katie is hands on herself so you feel personally looked after. There are always offers, amazing Tenner Tuesday's, a loyalty points scheme. Fantastic support and masterclasses. The social media coverage is brilliant and fun. I cannot recommend this fabulous family business enough.

I purchased a training course which didn’t meet expectations at all, it was described as a course with 5 videos each teaching a different technique. Once purchased it became apparent 4 out of the 5 videos were exactly the same, aside from a slight change of product but the same content was used on all. They asked for a review which I gave (an honest one) they failed to put it on their site alongside all the other great reviews. They also operate a ‘no refund’ policy on education courses but when the reviews on their site are misleading - the no refund policy seems a little unfair. Unfortunately wouldn’t recommend the online courses - the in person ones might be different.

Just purchased an efile at the price of £469 .. I haven’t even opened the box as I’m about to move to a new salon to find there’s a sale and it’s reduced to £329, 30% off. The policy stated that there’s no return or refund and basically if there’s a sale and you purchased full price it’s tough. I find it quite strange this is even a policy so do be aware as maybe this is a regular occurrence if you need to write it in your policy. They say sign up and you’ll see notifications. I did sign up .. as I bought the product as a first time buyer. Not sure how that helps as I’m sure it’s not advertised in advance. The email I received back when I asked if there was anything they could do was basically no but you can sign up to txt and get 25% off but as the efile is apparently already discounted at £469 it doesn’t work with any other offers not even 5% new customer so I never expected to see 30% off that product. Terrible customer service and absolutely couldn’t care less. I won’t buy another product and yet I had things in my basket I wanted to purchase so they have lost a new customer and many potential sales. Be aware that they must regularly discount so buy with caution as there is nothing you can do ..most companies that cared about customer service would have tried to do something to make this right. Just daylight robbery if you can reduce by so much. I regret making the purchase to such a company.
I’m not trying to damage any small business.. I am a small business owner I’m just telling a truth of bad customer service. It’s your policy and I adhere to that you reduced something £130 and think it’s ok. I would take anything back to a store and they would price match.. check out consumer rights but you actually put it in your policy, I haven’t seen this done before. But congrats you must be making a huge profit to take off £130. I wouldn’t purchase again from a company that has to do this. No one would want to lose that money I’m sorry you think it’s acceptable.

I recently received my Katie Barnes E-file, and it arrived super fast – very impressed with the delivery time! The design is sleek and professional, and I absolutely love the look of it. Although I haven’t used it on a client yet, I’ve tested it briefly and it’s incredibly quiet – which I already know will make a big difference during appointments. I can’t wait to start using it properly. So far, I’m really happy with my purchase!
