Knotweed Services (UK) Ltd Avis

I phoned to book a survey and they were informative from the get go, I had John come out to survey who was great, really lovely guy who talked me through the survey, what he was doing etc and told me loads about knotweed. The survey came through loads earlier than expected, they actually got it to me the same day which was incredible. 10/10, brilliant experience with the company!

This is my first ever review and the reason for this is that I really think that this company needs to be recognised for its professional concern and honesty. It’s a very scary situation discovering your property has knotweed, then trying to find a company that can help. The moment I contacted and talked to the staff in the office, with their calming and understanding manner, it put my concerns at ease. The meeting with Clive at my property where he explained everything and reassured me he would take control of all the issues and make sure I do the correct and legal things even help and advise regarding potential buyers. Knowing that I have the back up of a professional company who are prepared to go that bit further gives me complete confidence.
Take note JKW is not a problem if you use a qualified and licensed company. I recommend this company 100%.

I cannot recommend Knotweed Services (UK) Ltd highly enough. We needed a Japanese Knotweed survey completed on a 4.4-acre property purchase after a mortgage valuer raised a query. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond.

Claire in the office was brilliant—clear, efficient, and booked our initial survey in record time. Dariusz arrived promptly for the thorough main site check, confirming no visible knotweed across the property.

When our lender requested further clarification on a specific area near an outbuilding, Managing Director Clive Brooker personally stepped in. He revisited the site free of charge, correctly identified the plant in question as a harmless Kiwi plant (correcting the mortgage valuer’s mistake!), and subsequently updated our full report with the necessary photos to satisfy the bank.

Outstanding communication, true expertise, and fantastic customer care throughout. Thank you to Clive, Claire, and the entire team for saving our property purchase!

Quick, clear and free identification. Thank you!

Super quick and very accurate! Brilliant service and easy to use

Thank you for quick response for free identification check. They gave a good comment of the checking.

Asked for a survey urgently and they were able to get one booked for the next day with the report coming back under a week.

Great service and speed

Knotweed services have a simple to use enquiry form.

I uploaded a couple of pictures and within 1 hour received a really confirming the weed was NOT Japanese knotweed.

I suspect some companies would have still quoted to remove the problem, even though it was not a major concern.

Thank you for your honesty!

I’ve had exceptional service from Knotweed Services. I had to cancel my survey at first due to an issue with the property I was providing and they offered me a full refund without question. When the issue was resolved and I rebooked, they fitted me in quickly as to not delay the purchase. The various staff I have dealt with have all acted with the upmost professionalism and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.

I emailed Knotweed Service regarding knotweed I received a quick reply putting my mind at rest thank you so much

After a worrying sight of new unidentifiable growth in a garden path I sent photos to knotweed services.
Very professional service. After a phone call ….I felt relief and was reassured if there was a problem they could definitely help.
Fortunately for me it was not the problem weed. Within 30 mins from phone call I was reassured that all was well.
Would not hesitate to call again if I have any concerns in the future.
Thank you to all involved with my concern.

We approached this company as we were concerned about shoots appearing near our fence . Not only did they confirm it was NOT Japanese Knotwood but didn’t charge for this service either - a more unscrupulous company could have said otherwise and charged us a fortune .

Honesty and integrity are a rare commodity - thank you

Very honest, prompt and clear advice about a suspicious plant in our garden. We would definitely be in touch again, both for diagnosis and treatment.

Images were sent and I received a prompt, courteous reply reassuring me that there was nothing to be concerned about. I would contact this company again if I needed advice or any remedial works.

So pleased with the prompt identification

Had an issue with Knotweed, contacted Clive who conducted an inspection to confirm. He was friendly, professional and honest with what was found and recommended the remediation required to remove it. He didn’t upsell, he was straight forward and provided us with a great quote for the excavation. A year later we had the excavation, undertaken by Marc and Darius who were excellent. They were friendly, and very knowledgeable in their fields which provided a lot of reassurance. They completed the job efficiently and were able to preserve a lot of the garden. Clive then had a follow up with me to ensure I was happy with the services. Huge thank you to all at Knotweed Services for all the help in removal, couldn’t recommend them more.

Selling my property and used Knotweed Services to confirm whether Knotweed was present. The photograph assessment came back really speedily with professional and polite correspondence to assure us and the buyer that we were in the clear.
Would definitely recommend.

Quick response. Even if it’s not knotweed

Really grateful that they have a quick response to the photos I sent. It’s massively reassuring.

I asked for some advice using their WhatsApp service and they were very helpful and efficient! Definitely recommend.

Highly recommended. Quick and honest opinion regarding what we thought might be knotweed. They confirmed that it was not with no attempt to upsell or engage for other services. An incredibly refreshing experience. Thank you
