This company did not turn up when booked - causing anxiety for my 91 year old mother. They then claimed that they required a 15% deposit for a new door BEFORE coming to survey the job. This is ridiculous! Shifting the blame for poor communication on to the customer and if this is correct - expecting a deposit before even visiting the property. Give a wide berth!

Our single storey extension was completed by LDG and has been a first class experience from start to finish. Extremely pleased with all work carried out by LDG - from Owen Gilmartin the sales rep who was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable to the efficient builders, fitters, electricians, plumber and Heather the works co-ordinator who kept us informed of timescales. Cannot fault the workmanship and professionalism of all their contractors. LDG project managed all the works and their communication was faultless.

We've been using this company as a trade customer for a number of years now and are their largest trade customer. The service cannot be faulted and is the reason we exclusively use them for all PVC products. Muhammad in the trade office is a testament to the exceptional service provided and we see him as an integral asset to them due to his uncompromising knowledge and willingness to assist in all matters large or small.

I had new windows fitted by Lancashire Double Glazing. On the positive side, the workmanship itself has been good and the fitters on site were polite and friendly.

Unfortunately, the overall experience has been very disappointing. The team treated my house more like a building site than a home. The office repeatedly pulled the workers off the job to start elsewhere, leaving me waiting. They were several days late even getting started. I was also charged for scaffolding that wasn’t actually needed, and although they assured me a refund would be given, I’ve still not received it.

The biggest frustration is the complete lack of aftercare. I’ve emailed and called several times but had no reply or callback, which leaves me feeling ignored now that they’ve been paid.

In short: decent workmanship let down by very poor organisation, unnecessary charges, and non-existent customer service.

Fitted full bungalow windows and front door to a very high standard, fitters were really friendly and cleaned up after themselves.
Really happy with the quality and the fitting. Transformed my property.
Had a bit of an issue with French doors closing, customer services were fantastic, fitter was here within 6hrs and mended the problem.
Lancashire Double Glazing now fitting facial, soffit and all new guttering, wouldn't have anyone else touch our property.

Shocking admin and after sales.

After spending several thousand £ with LDG in my home and my business over the years, I am now shocked at the dreadful standard of their admin and after sales service.
EG Emails not replied to, answering machine giving office opening times 2 hours after they’ve opened and phone not answered, still awaiting a FENSA certificate 2 months after fitting, a safety chain that ripped off 3 weeks after fitting and replaced with the tackiest, cheap and nasty one you can imagine (which they wanted £50 to replace!!!!)
In truth, I have lost all confidence in the company and am quite anxious about how the quality of the composite doors will pan out. Won’t be going back that’s for sure.

Fantastic service from start to finish. We ordered a front and rear door and a new patio sliding door, great communication from ordering to everything being fitted, the installer’s were polite, very tidy and worked really hard, we would highly recommend.
