There is such a great and honest atmosphere, with clear communication every step of the way. Jade and her team are truly outstanding. Maisie was especially kind and efficient, which really makes dealing with an MOT and yearly service a pleasure.
Because of the quality of the service, I commute from the south every year, and whenever my car needs anything. It is absolutely worth it.

Really disappointed. I went for a simple MOT and they failed me on a tyre that absolutely nothing was wrong with. The worst part is if they had just looked in the back of the car, there was a full extra tyre with wheels already in there and we could have sorted a swap and passed me. I drove away with a fail looking to go purchase another tyre as extra and I got to the tyre shop and they looked at it and said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the tyre. I looked at the area that was marked for MOT failure and I saw nothing. Literally nothing. I was so disappointed. All they were trying to make me do was buy a new tyre from them. There was nothing else to fail me on. I refused to buy from them and that's how I found out there was nothing wrong with the tyre. The tyre shop did the swap. I had to go back there next day even though I had work and they had no choice but to pass it. I will never MOT there again. What's annoying is I even bought another car from these guys less than 2 years ago! Spent close to £150k and they still try to screw you. I cancelled the service plan I set up worth £2.5k. They are not to be trusted with servicing my car. I don't believe they do business clean

I just took my car to another garage where it makes it evident its not worth using Lookers at all. Alongside my MOT, I asked them to check a sound/noise underneath the car when you turn the steering and they said the MOT didn't pick it up and everything looked good with ball joints, arm and underneath the car..BUT the guy said the technicians advised him there was something loose that needed tightening..so I said since you know, just fix that and let's be done with it and I will pay for the tightening He said they needed to take it through diagnostic and charge near £300 before telling me formally what's wrong with it. I left and dropped it at a local garage near me..they serviced my car and found out it was a few bolts lose and they tightened them properly for free...saved 70% on servicing and the car feels brand new. Real honest people in that garage...can't say the same about Looker Landrover Bishop Stortford who just want to punish you for daring to buy one of their cars..absolutely shocking

This has to be the worst Land Rover dealership I have ever experienced. Cars being offered that do not meet the ‘Approved’ standards. Salesmen only interested in their own bonuses. Continual lies and false promises. No understanding of customer service what so ever. DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!

We recently purchased a 2-year-old Range Rover 110 Defender with the help of Paige Evans, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Paige could not have been more accommodating – she went above and beyond to address every question and resolve any concerns we had along the way. I cannot fault the attention to detail and care provided by the service team, at Lookers Bishop's Stortford. Two people in particular stood out, Caterina, a service reception who took control of my vehicle from arrival to completion, and a the excellent "front of house" care undertaken by a Spanish lady was superb and really added to the end2end care

If I could give a 0 rating then I would.. Sold us a car (Volvo XC40) that should not have passed a Volvo Selekt Check (Breaching Volvo standards).. 4 mismatched budget tyres, a non gen windscreen, two top mounts needing replacing and a pressure sensor faulty causing EML to come on and dash to go blank. All issues occurred within hours of the sale. We drove 4 hours to collect this car (me being pregnant we only drove that far as we were assured the vehicle had passed all checks) only for the issues to become apparent before we even got home! Aftercare was horrendous, Kevin the business manager assured us we would be compensated for the horrendous experience we had, only to offer us a bunch of flowers. This absolute shambles cost us close to £400. Kevin assured us all expenses would be reimburse (insurance changeover fees, putting a plate on retention, fuel costs and loss of earnings) however after a few days annual leave he changed his mind!! Do NOT buy a car from here. We needed a safe, reliable family car and all it did was cause extreme stress and inconvenience. They knew I was pregnant and took full advantage of us and our situation. Absolutely disgusted.

The rear passenger door on my Land Rover Defender has become very difficult to open. After researching the issue, I found it's a well-known problem caused by the rubber door seal creating a vacuum effect. Land Rover has issued a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) outlining a fix: inspect door alignment, apply double-sided tape under the seal, and replace the C-pillar exterior finishing trim.
Although my vehicle is now out of warranty, this is clearly a design or manufacturing fault. Despite that, Lookers Bishops Stortford dismissed the issue over the phone as “wear and tear” and quoted £258 just to book the car in for investigation which, in this case, would mean opening the door and confirming the suction issue. There is no assurance that the repair would be covered, even if the known defect is confirmed.
I find it unacceptable to be charged a substantial fee simply to verify a widespread and well-documented issue acknowledged by the manufacturer. It appears the dealership is attempting to pass the cost of a known fault onto the customer, rather than standing behind the Land Rover brand and addressing a problem that should never have occurred in the first place.

For the second year running they failed to update the service history online, i sat in front of the so called customer service agent and asked him if it was updated, he without hesitation said yes! I told him about the problems last year and he said Ooo well it's all done this year - what a liar! Also supposed to vacuum the car after service but obviously couldn't be bothered because no one had touched the inside! Rubbish service, they only care about selling, once they've sold the car they lose all interest. He also told us he would call us back later the same day (Tuesday) with a price for a SD card - still waiting...... I will never go back to this Lookers they are useless!

Rob Haigh was a very patient and informative man.
He was so easy to talk to just a lovely man, I would definitely recommend him to people and if ever I need to upgrade my car I hope he will still be there to help me, nothing is too much trouble for him.

The most appalling experience. Failed MOT on a very minor nick in the tyre tread…took it to my local garage and passed straight away. Tried to charge me £3500 to repair sensor damage on the front bumper….mended for £50 at the local garage. The worst service experience I have ever received….avoid this garage at all costs
