Hardin Montana Love's Potholes
Loves in Hardin Montana has huge potholes exiting and entering the big rig area. Bottomed out motorhome exiting and cracked front cap. Spoke with the manager at Love's and he informed me that they know they have an issue and have repaired the potholes previously. He filed an incident with Love's Risk Management. Risk Management has delayed this now for over two months and now claim that it's the city's property not theirs, so they have no responsibility. This is a short dead end road that Love's had built to service their fleet area. The asphalt that has deteriorated is the patch that Love's paid for and had repaired. This is not an acceptable manner to handle road surface issues at a Love's.

Unfortunately we can’t give it a negative review. We have a 44’ 19000 lb Toy hauler. We had a flat on the RV. Got to the Love Stop just south of Tifton off 75. My husband went in to see if they could do a tire change for us. We had a spare. The attendant said they don’t do “small” jobs. Not exactly a small job. After struggling to get the height we needed to get the spare on I went in to see if MAYBE they would help. FAT CHANCE. As I walked past three service trucks to enter their office I explained that we are 44’ long about 20,000 lbs. they said no they can’t help. The jacks they use run on air. I then replied. So if you get a service call you can’t change a tire. They replied. Yes the trucks have generators. But yet you can’t help us in your parking lot!? Nope
Worthless App/Laughable "Benefits"
I downloaded Loves Connect app because an associate told me I would get GREAT benefits and shower credits. That was a lie. As a "casual driver" I get a measly discount on gas and a free fountain drink if I buy 4. Can't even get that deal on cheap coffee, which I actually drink.
That's it. I drive 80 thousand miles per year for work and have filled up at Loves every single time for months now. And I don't even rate a free shower from time to time? Worthless app, worthless company unless you drive a big rig. I'm uninstalling their app and going to Flying J now. They already award me shower credits and an equal gas discount. I should have gone with them from the start.
Terrible customer service
I am totally fed up with the cashiers at the fuel desk and some of the managers just lying to my face , to lazy to job correctly ,or don't know how to do the job and trying to argue. the stores where I ran into the problem is #360(horse cave ,KY sept.20,2024) (they was nice and didn't argue but still didn't resolve my problem because they didn't know how. Store #244 (Jackson, TN) (lied to my face and said it wasn't possible. Refused to even try. 9/20/2024 around 5am). Store #637 (Payette, WI ticket# 4674938 - 09/07/2024) (Argued, was rude, lied and claimed it couldn't be done . claimed they had different software from other loves travel stops. When I said I would call in the guy and younger woman replied they didn't care. I overheard them complaining about a driver that they actually had to call the cops on I wonder why.) Store #332 Burbank ,OH (09/06/2024) (manager with short bleach blonde hair said it could be done instead of saying she didn't know how . ticket #97463698) Store #177 (Kansas Turnpike #2251876) after multiple transactions claimed I cant used my debit, business debit for fuel which is completely false. (09/02/2024). Happened at store #177 Kansas turnpike again at 6 am 9/23/2024. General manager Dirac Kimber told me they are on the easy go system and they could accept corporate cards where I can get my driver code mileage, and other information. I showed them one way to also it in cash then they started accepting cash. I told them you can do it with a credit card and I was told to leave. All the while store manager Joseph werly who didn’t know I could get the information on cash pay until I said so kept talking while I was trying to explain to the aforementioned general manager that the information could be manual imputed even on credit cards. If you did know how to do it why keep talking aggravating me while I’m talking to your boss? Yet saying I’m disrespectful when butting into me and your boss conversation is totally disrespectful if no one asked or was talking to you.
The thing I wanted at every store was to have the driver code, miles. company, and trip number. I know most would say what's the big deal? I don't get my fuel surcharge if that information is not on there and its actually their job. I lose between $1-$1.67 a gallon its really starting to add up since I fuel at loves exclusively. Its not bad enough people block the pumps and take 30 minute, shower and even block pumps off to take ten hour breaks and no one does anything now they wont even do the job they are hired for.
I have tried with cash ,same problem. Debit card , same problem, even use my personal corporate card , same problem . Then go to another store no problem. I even call customer service to lodge an complaint and she advised that I should go to love that I don't have a problem. That just not possible because I'm not in the same area all the time , don't control traffic or the weather.
I got in touch with tech support at the advice of store #360 manager and tech support hung up on us. How can you fix this issue? Probably more training and getting rid of rude, and people that don't want to be there(store#637 would be a good place to start.) The congestion at the pump could be solved by mangers walking the lot and actually calling tow trucks and towing trucks. The word would get around quickly .
If a store manager or any manager cant enter a transaction manually demote them. That a clear sign of the quality of employees that store will have . How can you expect the employees to do what the managers cant? Someone could actually look into these complaints from time to time. Hire me as a customer service consultant to travel from store to store as boots on the ground t get these stores back on track. Another problem is people bringing pet into the truck stops around food which is a clear health hazard. These aren't service pets.
This is not only frustrating it’s a sad situation when you have general managers that have no clue. I even took a picture of the general manager that told me I had to leave .
No leniency for booking errors and no customer service
Accidentally booked the wrong RV site in South Dakota, so couldn’t make it (wrong direction), and I realized my error only about 20 minutes after booking. Called to get it changed and they refunded the booking and I just needed to make the new one. Turns out they still charged a 50% fee for cancelling. That would have been just about the cost of booking the other site, so we just didn’t bother booking and stopped using them for fuel and supplies. We had already spent over $600 on them over the past two weeks.
Opened a case with customer support and have not received any sort of response. Chances are we’ll just be using Pilot and Flying V from now on for our trips.
Store#730 Rude Gm
have gone to this loves many times and have seen different gms over the the few years I've been to store 730. The new Gm Melissa that's currently running the store is very rude not nice to her staff nor does she have any compassion what's so ever for her customers. I was waiting in line to get a few items the cashier was trying and did ask for assistance, no help. So i walked over to diesel side where the cashiers where on their phones and trying to clean showers. Standing their I could see the gm sitting on her phone ignoring the fact customers are trying to get their stuff payed for and leave. I'm sorry but 2 people at diesel, 1 on the gas side struggling with line of customers but yet she's sitting on her phone in the office while her crew is on phones and not caring about nothing else. I won't be back to store 730 they have lost my business for good. She really needs to have better communication skills n learn to be more nicer to her customers. Maybe she isn't in the right position if she can't be respectful to her crew or to us customers.

I'm only giving this review because it needs to be addressed. They obviously get paid by the hour,because it makes absolutely NO SENSE, to take 3 hours to change a blown out tire. PLEASE !!! Pay them differently, they were in no hurry at all,time is very important to professional drivers. Products need to be delivered, and we all have a job to do. Review your cameras and watch how YOU pay them to ride the clock..

love's store mossy head
I stopped at the love's store on hwy 285 in mossy head florida . The pumps were malfunctioning and could only pump 0.17 cents worth of gas . I then tried another pump could only pump 0.80 cents of gas , then I gave up and left . My bank showed they withheld 175.00 dollars from my account for 0.97 cents worth of gas ? I will not use any love convenience store again .
MANAGER GOD COMPLEX
Highly disappointed in loves westmorland ca. They fired one of the best maintenance workers. Now when we go it’s dirty the trashes are full and the restrooms are a joke.
I have been told by other employees that the manager does choose favorites and it’s a sport for him to get those he does not like to quit . It’s sad how managers get a superiority complex and play God. Only things is when they think that the ones they are seeing as dumb and not knowing their rights.
Shame on the district manager Carlos M because he is just as guilty. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing the employee fired for the past four years and before he even started working for loves I told other that I have not ever seen anyone who is excited to go to work each day but love it and takes pride in the work they do . He was so passionate about loves he was covered in loves merch everyday outside of work too. I recently hired him to paint my house and still amazed at how disciplined in taking the time to do it correctly timely and clean. HR you should be ashamed too he turned to you g for help in this situation two years ago and then this time you don’t return any calls and go by the managers say so. Go check your store see who’s doing all the work now the shift leaders are. Just because they asked about the hours . Lies lies humiliating the employee he jumped hoops in hopes he would get the hours when they were available shd when they were more lies. If your just starting your trucking company don’t use Loves for factoring and a fuel card…It don’t work!! Even if it’s slow Loves will take your money for fuel out of the loads you send in.. They will put you out of business!!! So use another fuel company!! Try other factoring companies LOVES DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR COMPANY!!!!
Boycott Loves Travel Centers
Today, we posted a YouTube video calling for a Boycott of Loves. The reason has to do with absolute greed, and I'll briefly explain here. Whenever a consumer uses a gas dispenser (pump) at LOVES, an authorization hold is placed on the consumer credit or debit account. The standard for LOVES is to authorize $175.00. Hence, if your sale is $10, $20, or $30, you have now just paid LOVES, at least temporarily, $175. Your financial institution will block this amount indefinitely until LOVES releases the hold authorization. In all other cases, such as Travel Centers of America, for example, once the sale is completed, the $175 authorization is dropped, and your availability to your cash order credit is restored. Usually, within seconds. In our case, several authorizations were made with over 3 days, and LOVES has refused to release the holds ($1,000), knowing it has successfully collected on its sale. You can not access your funds until LOVES says so, and in their case, it takes 5-10 days, where they hold your money, depriving you of access. It doesn't have to be this way. The instant release of authorization costs is nearly nothing and is nominal compared to the boycott ramifications. Loves has been made aware by its consumers repeatedly over the past decade, and the idmsue even came up in board minutes in 2016 & 2020. It is time to hit them share it matters. BOYCOTT. Bridgeport, Michigan store #743 The customer service at the store is outstanding. everyone we interacted with was helpful, cheerful and polite and courteous, and went out of their way to help us.
We requested transportation from our truck to the store because I hurt my leg. I needed to not walk on it., not only did they bring a truck, but they also brought the other truck for my husband. Then they said when you’re done with your shower, give us a call and we’ll give you a ride back.!

If I could put zero stars, I would BEWARE small business owners, small, Owner operators do not factor with this company. They are not upfront about their contracts. You could be speaking with them on on the phone and request clarification and explanation, they will mislead you with verbiage and then later once you have signed the contract and you find out what kind of documents have been submitted on your behalf of your business, without being told what they mean or what they are. when you call back customer service to either get the issued resolved they give you no options other than to pay money and to get out of their way; they give you no options when they need to be held accountable and when they need to be more transparent. They do not allow you to talk to any upper management. The sales rep say pay us or deal with whatever issue has came up. Please BEWARE this company please read over the contract, and have someone (Lawyer) legally read over the contracts before you sign anything with them. Make sure you understand what you’re signing; because once you have a problem they will do nothing to help you fix the problem as long as they get paid as long as they get their money, they do not care about whatever issues that they caused you and your business. Please Beware of them.
