As a family we spent in December/ January 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. For one week Amal has been our driver and guide. Due to his support and organization we enjoyed a great time. As he knows the country very well he gave us so many useful insights. We really enjoyed the time with him.

We booked a 14 days tour (All in one classic tour) from Mango Vacations with two extra day for two persons.
At the beginning the communication was prompt and clear and we got answers quite quickly to our questions.
Our itinerary was Negombo (1 night) - Sigiriya (3) - Kandy (1) - Nuwara Eliya (2) - Yala (1) - Mirissa (4) - Negombo (2)
containing 6 Unesco world heritage sites and three safaris (Minneriya NP, Yala NP, Madu river). Hotels very good 3*.
Our guide and driver, Mr Vishwa - young and energetic guy was superb friendly and knowledgable persons. During the two weeks time
we had very nice and interesting discussions about Sri Lankan culture, history, living etc.
Each day Vishwa told us the day itinerary and we were able to adjust that easy during the day. And when we arrived to the hotel
he always check with us the room and helped with the luggages. He also kept the agreed timings and was always reachable
through WhatsApp if any questions or concerns raised from our side. In addition he also walked with us to several places
(Lion’s rock, Dambulla, Mini Adam’s Peak) and was also in the safaris with us to search and point interesting animals etc.
We had a small Toyota sedan car with us with A/C of course, and only once we had flat tyre but Vishwa fixed it quickly.
If you are thinking to travel to Sri Lanka it is much easier to book good guide and driver and you can just enjoy.
Mango Vacations made us very easy and comfortable. If you are looking for very nice, easy going and young
professional guide, then go with Mango’s Vishwa. Thank you again Vishwa - it was pleasure to travel with out in
amazing and beautiful Sri Lanka.

We had a fantastic 10 day tour with Hasanka. Hasanka was a great driver and excellent tour guide who showed us many beautiful places. Hasanka always actively made suggestions and organized excursions and tickets for us.

We had a great experience dealing with the Mango team, from them proposing and discussing with us an itinerary that interest us, to their pleasant and friendly and helpful staff Lakee and Pavi. We care about responsible driving and they were very careful and responsible while on the road. Highly recommended.

Lakee and Amila were really helpful from the moment we arrived in Sri Lanka.

We did a 12 day trip with them from Negombo, up to Sigiriya, Ella, Yala, Mirissa and Galle. They were always easy to communicate with, very flexible around any changing plans/timings, and the driving was always safe.

Most of all they were always really friendly, great company and always smiling. Lakee was also very helpful at offering to arrange trips if we wanted them. We had a great elephant safari in an area we hadn’t planned to do this on Lakee’s recommendation, and it turned out to be one of our highlights. There was no pressure to do anything that was offered, but great to know that they could always help out.

We will definitely be back will and 100% be trying to arrange the trip with Lakee and Amila.

We have just finished our tour of Sri Lanka with Mango vacations with Thilina our guide and Chaandana our driver. Both lovely guys who couldn’t do enough for us on our trip, they were on hand at all times and provided support throughout. We really enjoyed all the wonderful sights and knowledgeable information given. Thilina went above and beyond to get us tickets for the Ella train which was an unforgettable journey. Thilina also changed our tour at the end so that we could accommodate the whale tour in Mirissa. We can’t recommend Mango enough… sound local, caring people for the most amazing holiday. Lovely Tour packed full with all the highlights of Sri Lanka! A tight itinerary to fit everything in. My guide Vish was fantastic, very helpful and has so much knowledge about all the places you visit and more. He is also a great photographer.

We were on a 2 week holiday in Sri Lanka in January. Starting the tour in Colombo and visiting Dambulla, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Tangalle, Weligama and back to Colombo. We decided to hire a car and driver through Mango Vacations. This proved to be a very wise decision. Nadeeka, the manager was very helpful in the booking process and Thili and Pavi accompanied us throughout the two weeks as our guide and driver. They were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Thili showed us around and acted as a guide when needed and Pavi was a good, careful driver and we felt safe. Both recommended places to visit and eat and maintained the van in a clean and tidy condition. We highly recommend this company and the drivers Thili and Pavi.

Incredible experience with this company. Our driver was Hansanka, and I couldn't thank him enough for making our experience amazing. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the most amazing time on holiday.

Han was much more than a driver, he was a full guide, and took us to places that we never though of visiting and it was just incredible.

Mango Vacations provided us with with a driver and a guide for our 1-week tour of Sri Lanka in January 2024. We had a lovely experience: Roshan helped us shaping our itinerary at best and has been always willing to accomodate our requests. We felt safe and supported throughout our stay, making our trip memorable. I would definitely recommend.

I just finished an 8 day tour with Lakee as guide and Amila as driver. I was traveling alone and both were always very friendly, took great care of me, showed me the country and its people and were always flexible and responded to my individual needs. We had a great time together and they made my vacation an unforgettable moment.

We used Mango Vacations for our custom-based 13-day trip around Sri Lanka. Our drivers Thili and Pavi took a really good care of us, enabling us to enjoy the trip to the fullest! Although the first half of our trip was very packed with lots of driving and hiking, they were always ready to guide us to visit all the places that we planned or advise us when being in doubt. They even accompanied us to Pidurangala Rock to see the sunrise.

With his knowledge, Thili always helped us understand the history and the meaning of important sights and attractions, as well as questions about language, traditions, food and religion. Pavi amazed us with his incredible and safe driving capabilities, even in very trafficky and chaotic areas. They both were incredibly kind, hospitable, punctual and informative. With this we became one Sri Lankan happy traveling family. Recommended!

We had an exceptional journey with our driver Hasanka, who drove us all the way up to Jaffna and right down to Unawatuna across 10 days, with several stops. Hasanka was genuinely the highlight of our journey. We were a little bit hesitant using a driver service as we had never travelled this way, but we are so glad we did. He made every aspect of the journey so easy, adapting to weather changes, and helping us make on the fly modifications to accommodation and itinerary based on his knowledge and reccomendations. Despite a pretty jam packed schedule, we were able to have a good mix of adventure and relaxation time. My only feedback is that Mango Vacations as a whole is a little laid back with communication at the commencement of the trip, but this had no impact on our overall experience. If you are still deciding whether to get a driver, absolutely do it, and if you get Hasanka, even better!

Absolutely incredible trip. Our guide Thili and driver Pavi were the loveliest, kindest people. They definitely made the trip highly enjoyable, easy and lots of fun.
We didn't have to worry about anything. If we had questions or problems they were extremely helpful and would always find a solution. They were great fun. We packed soooo much in. We were absolutely exhausted every night, but that's the sign of a brilliant trip. We cant thank them enough! They definitely became friends more than tour guides.
It was easy to keep in contact on WhatsApp on the WiFi in the hotels. In they day they always gave instructions for meeting points/times and were always prompt.
Pavi was an amazing driver. We felt so safe everywhere we went despite the crazy roads and storms.
Thili's English was amazing. He taught us so much about Sri Lanka and we could chat about anything and everything.
We saw so so much. From Historical sites, beaches, view points, safari, trains, etc list is endless.
The hotels were lovely. Some were incredible.
We just wish we could have stayed longer. A big big thankyou to Thili and Pavi. The trip wouldn't have been the same without them.

We spend a week with Lakee and Amela and it was a great one indeed!
Amela is an amazing driver and could handle all the bad roads we intended to go through and always stayed positive and had a smile on his face.
Lakee on the other hand was the man that arranged everything from the massage we suddenly wished for to spices garden we did not know it existed in the first place.
What a great week with the guys that made our holiday even more charming. For all this we are very grateful and would recommend this amazing team to everyone traveling to Sri Lanka!

We had 7 days touring with Hasanka a great calm driver so we all felt more relaxed! Nice guy, professional but friendly, engaging but didn't invade our personal space. Loads of ideas and suggestions but not pushy and very flexible. Throughly recomend him.

We were driven by Thili and Pavi from Mango Vacations for 9 days in December 2023, starting in Colombo.

Thili and Pavi looked after us so well! They were always punctual, drove very carefully, and had interesting things to say about all the places we visited. We already had our own itinerary planned, but Thili and Pavi always had a suggestion for an activity or restaurant if we were struggling. Having said that, we never felt pressured into doing something. They were very caring, they were happy to accommodate us when we made last minute changes of plan, and they were always happy to pick us up (even at 5am in the morning!)

The car was as advertised: modern, comfortable, with air-conditioning and a WiFi hot-spot. We paid in cash (half on arrival and half at the end) and everything was included (fuel, tolls, driver accommodation, driver meals). We would have liked a little more information from Mango Vacation in advance (about payment method, pick up details), but they were very responsive on WhatsApp when we arrived.

We had an amazing time on our tour. Vish our driver/guide was great, he quickly learned what we like (no early mornings and plenty of time for swims) and tailored each day accordingly, while also making sure we didn’t miss out on anything. I would definitely recommend Mango Vacations and Vish if you’re looking for a wonderful Sri Lanka experience.
