I was offered vouchers as compensation, I declined and asked for a refund, minus my deposit. I never saw a penny back. I lost around £300 in total which they just kept.
Even after winning a CCJ against them I still have never received my money.

Do not use this scam of a company. They will steal your money and not give it back. They will plan the worst possible options for you at the cheapest places, and charge you way more money then it’s all worth. Do NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not use this company, we booked for the magic mike night in benidorm for my best friends hen due, we were due to fly the day after Benidorm went into lockdown. I had a text message off the event manager saying the activities were not going ahead due to the lockdown. iv sent loads of emails and phone calls trying to get everyone their money back and no reply at all. DONT waste your money!!!

Avoid at all costs. Had a stag do organised with this company for Feb 2021 which, due to restrictions, couldn’t go ahead.
Since the company hasn’t fulfilled their service because of the restrictions the entire party has expected a refund - which over a month later hasn’t arrived.
A dispute has been opened with my bank to charge back the amount paid.

Booked my stag for April and had to cancel due to covid and we had paid in full.
Promised a refund in March and never heard anything back from them. Sent several emails and have had nothing back just responses in French.
If you are thinking of booking never book with Maximise use Mojito Events instead, they have been amazing and just asked for a deposit to book slots till this whole Covid thing is sorted and they have been keeping me updated with whats going on. Maximise is a massive FRAUD. Zoe was great on the phone just because they wanted our money but when we want our money back we didn't get anything back.

Cancelled hen party in May, no refund offered, can’t get hold of the company anymore, they gave me a credit note only for the deposit £50 I am still owed £153 but they will not get back to me ..... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Oh and they changed their T&C’s to benefit them during the pandemic so say we are not entitled to a refund.

Worst company I've EVER dealt with! We was meant to be on my best friends Hendo on June 19th in Malta and had a stripper to celebrate, the company are now ignoring all my emails and putting their out of office on! They owe us £325 which compared to other people is nothing! However have completely disregarded a refund offering a credit note for Brighton or London, which is not acceptable! Please never use this company! They couldn't care less and are basically using everyone's money as a loan!
DO THE HONOURABLE THING AND GIVE EVERYONE THEIR MONEY BACK!! YOU ARE A DISGRACE!!!

Bad service
Had the same issue. Had a few replys from the company saying a credit note willbe given. I explained i didnt want this and it was my right to have the money back as they cancelled. They then said in order to get a refund ild need to rebook which i gave them a new date and now havnt heard anything since end of may.

I am really disappointed reading some of the other reviews on here. This is the 3rd time I have used Maximise, the first 2 trips went ahead with pretty much no issues. The 3rd trip was due to take place on the start of July but has obviously been disrupted by COVID-19. I read peoples reviews and got nervous that I would experience something similar when in fact it has been quite the opposite. Yes responses have been delay (I think I waited about a week for a reply at one point) but I always got a reply. I can only imagine the volume of messages they are getting at the moment hence the delay in responding. People complaining about not getting a refund, what did you expect booking 3rd party? I'm not saying it is acceptable but I am also not surprised. When I knew my trip wasn't going ahead I knew it was pointless to ask for a refund so instead I asked to reschedule, changing an abroad trip to a UK destination months later. I have dealt with Valentina throughout it all who has happily helped me to change my entire package to suit the current situation as well as what I wanted. This hasn't been an easy situation for the most of us but how accommodating they have been has definitely helped to ease my stress in these difficult times.

Do not use, they are refusing refunds in light of a trip cancelled due to Coivd-19 in March and a number of us have since lost our jobs so the credit note is of no use. There is no way to contact apart from to utilise the credit note. Will be reporting to the competition watchdog as recommended on other posts.

Disgraceful, due to Covid 19 our hen do was cancelled and we were only issued a credit note. As the wedding has now been moved to a date where we won't be able to travel before, this credit note is of no use to us. This company has over £1000 of our money and seem to find any excuse under the sun not to refund us. They've told members of the party that all communication has to go through me as I'm the group leader but I haven't heard anything back. I'm shocked at how a company can treat people this way during such a hard time that affects EVERYONE, not just them. Clearly we're not the only ones they've refused to refund. Disgusting.

As with others, Maximise are refusing to answer emails. They have issued very restricted vouchers due to Covid-19 and not cash refunds.
This is going to be followed up with the Competition and Markets Authority. I suggest others do the same. Further details at Money Saving Expert look for ‘Watchdog to investigate coronavirus cancellation policies’.

Completely unacceptable as we are unable to rebook the hen do. I will never use this company again and suggest nobody else uses these - their behaviour and lack of interest is unprofessional and we are all now way out of pocket. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the company, contacted us to say they couldnt fulfill their obligations cause of COVID and by law they had to refund us and now have issued a statement that they wont be refunding us because of some law changes in France. They cant fulfill their side of the bargain and we're left out of pocket, if you want to contact anyone, you have to write a letter to somewhere in France?
My mind is blown by how a company can run like this. How can you not have my money to give me back when we havent been on the trip yet?

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! If I could rate them nothing I would. We booked a boat party for a hen do in Prague. As it was within 6 weeks they insisted we pay in full which we did. The hen do has now been cancelled due to Covid 19. They contacted us to say they had to cancel when the Czech Republic closed their borders. They then stalled us and have since said because of changes in French law they will not be returning our money. We have no idea when we will be able to travel again, so their offer of a credit note is useless and they have also highlighted that if less people can go should we rebook it will just be tough. Disgusting way to treat customers. Irony is that if they had refunded us when we rebooked we would have used them
