Fantastic quality bed
Fantastic quality bed, really happy.
Special thanks to Josie, she was brilliant, so attentive and organised to get the bed to us earlier than we thought after a house move, tracked it from early hours just to keep me informed. Never known customer service like it, so friendly, so understanding and i hope she gets some recognition from management from going above and beyond :)

Very impressed!
Very impressed with this company. Delivery was quick and super easy, and the driver even told me which box to open first! The product itself is incredible, my 6 year old absolutely loves his new bunk bed. Will definitely use you again!

Communication was very good and the delivery was on time. The bed comes in four boxes and they are pretty heavy, so you might need a hand moving them about.
The bed took a long time to build, but that was expected. It was a bit frustrating to have to open more than one box at a time to complete some of the items, as opposed to there being a clear order to the boxes. The individual bed items were all numbered with little stickers, which helped a lot. The fixings are of good quality; Metal cams and draw runners, which was reassuring.
The assembled bed feels sturdy so far, but I guess time will tell. At £600 I feel it is a little bit overpriced for what is essentially a lot of particle board stuck together. There were some minor blemishes on the finish, which now it's built I feel a little disappointed about. I was surprised that particle board sheets are also used as a base for the mattress as opposed to proper slats for improved ventilation. There are some holes drilled into the base for ventilation, but I'm uncertain if this will be sufficient. The drilled holes expose bare particle board, so moisture could get in there unless sealed.
I've already seen the same bed on sale elsewhere at a considerable discount, so that compounds the doubts I have about the quality of the materials used in the construction of the bed. Taken altogether the provided service has been good; Whether it's £200 better than the discounted supplier of the same product will remain unknown as I infrequently buy new beds.
Specifically, the "off gassing" phase has been pretty dreadful so far. Fingers crossed that the particle board smell disappears soon.
Finally, my son loves his new bed, so not a complete loss!
Update 19/02/2026 - I emailed Millie & Jones a detailed list of the issues I had encountered with my purchase. To their credit, they reacted professionally, undertaking a detailed review of my case, and a swift, amicable resolution was agreed. That level of customer care is absolutely priceless! Thank you.

We completely understand your comments around the build process. Some of our storage beds do require opening multiple cartons as components are packaged to protect larger panels in transit, but we appreciate that a clearer box order would make things easier. That’s useful feedback and something we can pass back to the manufacturer.
On ventilation and off-gassing: engineered wood products can sometimes have a noticeable smell when first unboxed, particularly in the first few days. This should dissipate quickly with good airflow and ventilation.
We appreciate that value matters. As a small family-run business, we prioritise quality control, compliant products, and hands-on aftercare support, something that’s often missing when buying from larger, discount-led retailers. Our aim is always to provide not just the product, but proper service before and after delivery.

Missing pieces
Missing pieces, very annoying when trying to build a complicated item.
Mattress turned up days after the bed, and only because I emailed.
Bed is fantastic quality though, I’m pleased with bed.

We couldn’t be happier with the bunk bed we chose. Such great quality!
We chose to have it assembled, I definitely recommend the service, the team was in and out in 40 minutes.
Finally a big thank you to josie for her aftercare and support. One of the slat was slightly damaged, she got in touch with the supplier, kept us updated and the issue was sorted within day.

Beautiful bed for my daughter
Beautiful bed for my daughter, slightly less sturdy than I was expecting considering the price! The instructions weren’t clear at all and one page was missing all together so it took a little longer to build than I’d have liked.

Faulty product - No compensation
Received the high sleeper bed for my little girl. After assembling, noticed a fault (although cosmetic, it was very obvious). I’ve emailed the company and without my knowledge nor my agreement they’ve just decided to send me a replacement, despite me stressing that I do not wish to reassemble. Also, the sofa bed mattress doesn’t fit the frame! So completely unusable. After more than 30 emails going forwards and backwards, they refused to offer ANY reduction in price as a way of compensation for the product which arrived not 100% satisfactory. Seeking advice from Furniture and Home Improvements Ombudsman.

When you first contacted us, the issue reported was a small cosmetic mark on the top safety rail. As confirmed by email, we arranged for a replacement rail to be sent immediately, which is the standard and quickest remedy for minor cosmetic faults. The replacement was dispatched promptly and delivered within a few days so the bed could be made completely fault-free without requiring a full replacement.
Once the replacement rail had been delivered, a new concern was raised regarding the sofa bed mattress. Our team confirmed that the mattress supplied should be correct for this model and explained that, to investigate this properly, we would need basic measurements to rule out a sizing or manufacturing issue and determine the appropriate next step.
At this stage, we received requests for a price reduction, however we explained that under consumer regulations, where an issue can be repaired or replaced, this is the first remedy available. We also explained that without the requested measurements, we’re unable to verify a fault or authorise any further resolution for the mattress.
Throughout the process, we acted promptly and in line with consumer law, first by arranging a replacement part immediately, and then by requesting the information required to investigate the second concern properly. We remain happy to help resolve this fully as soon as the requested details are provided.
