DO NOT BUY - Quality is not on par with price
I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of this bed given the price. I paid a significant amount expecting durability, but the materials used are far below what’s acceptable especially for a bunk bed. The wood is very light and does not feel sturdy or secure at all. For a product that’s supposed to support weight safely, this is concerning. Charging premium prices for materials that are cheaper than what you’d find at an average furniture store is simply unacceptable. I would not recommend this bed to anyone looking for quality or value.

Fantastic bed the kids love it and Mille & Jones were super helpful!
We opted to build the bed ourselves rather than have the delivery team do it; in hindsight, this was probably a mistake, as the build was more complicated than an IKEA DIY, so it took a bit longer than we expected (although it was a big bunk bed). We also noticed that one of the doors had a dent (probably from transportation), but Mille and Jones were brilliant! Within a day or two, we had a replacement. So super helpful! I measure a company's quality by how it responds to issues, and Mille and Jones were brilliant!

You’re absolutely right, some of our larger bunk beds can be a bit more involved than a typical flat-pack build, so we’re glad you got there in the end!

Harper Guest Bed
I bought a Harper Guest Bed in December and the quality is appalling. I don't usually write reviews and at the beginning I thought I would let it pass. But every time I see the horrible *** of a bed that they sent and that cost me £329, I feel robbed and angry. I did get in touch with Millie & Jones at the time, because I had ordered a trundle to go with the bed originally, but after seeing the quality of the main part I decided they could have back whatever I could return (their policy states that once you have started putting together the parts of the bed, you can't return it anymore, so I didn't attempt to return the main bed). I must say the customer service responded promptly and were somewhat helpful in returning the trundle, which was within my rights (however, they said my comments on the quality were opinions and I had to correct that they were observations). I have since shown the bed to visitors and family to check what other people see and they all agree it is not a bed suitable for a child (the chipboard is very low quality, with very sharp edges that could cut your fingers when you run them along). Also, the pictures of the website of the bed in question showed a different colour scheme to what I received. When I mentioned this in my email they didn't acknowledge it (didn't mention it at all in their reply), but they made changes to their website instantly, so I suppose the "feedback" was welcome. So there you go, if you are wondering. Do not buy from them. I don't like to go into return wars so I didn't go into one and I will try to make use of the bed, but I would have appreciated seeing a review like this one. I believe Ikea, John Lewis, Argos have better quality control.
Oh, I forgot to add that I scheduled the delivery for somewhere in the middle of December but the bed arrived 2 days after I ordered it, which was 1 week earlier than I intended to have it. Not the end of the world in my case, as I was home at the time, but it could have complicated things if I hadn't been around.

As you mentioned, we were in regular contact at the time of delivery and were very happy to arrange the return of the unused trundle. This was collected promptly and fully refunded, and we’re glad we were able to resolve that part of the order smoothly.
Regarding the main bed frame, once an item has been fully assembled and the original packaging is no longer available, we’re unfortunately unable to arrange a return or refund. This is in line with our published returns policy and the supplier’s terms, which we explained during our earlier correspondence.
For clarity for other customers reading this review, the Harper Guest Bed is sold and categorised as a guest bed rather than a children’s bed, and it does not sit within our children’s bed ranges.
We do appreciate that quality can be subjective. This model has been supplied to many customers and has received positive feedback overall, including being displayed in our own workspace, but we understand it wasn’t the right fit for you.
In terms of delivery, the order was delivered on the date selected at checkout. Where available, we allow customers to choose their preferred delivery date, and in this instance the delivery took place as scheduled.
We’re genuinely sorry that this purchase wasn’t the right one for you. We do hope it’s clear that we acted promptly, fairly, and in line with our policies throughout, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Good communication
Good communication, prompt delivery. Lovely items. Instructions said it could be assembled in 1 hour with 2 adults, this was not the case. A bolt was missing and a new one sent out quickly, Josie was extremely helpful.

Delivery service was not great and delivered on the day but at 9 PM
Assembly was really difficult with poor instructions it took literally hours and my husband does a lot of DIY

Good bed
Bed is very good quality, although the pillows in the seated area could do with a bit more sturdy stuffing inside as they’ve gone a bit flat now. Over all very happy with the purchase and having the installation option was helpful too.

Lovely product, terrible customer service
The bed is very good and the assembly people were excellent. The customer service however, is terrible. The company advised me to buy European single mattresses and when they arrived they did not fit - I had bought them from another supplier as Millie and Jones didn’t have much choice in this size. They then washed their hands of the situation leaving me with a huge issue returning the mattresses at considerable expense. Their solution was to offer me a discount on their range at the correct size but after this experience I wouldn’t buy from them again.
