4-11-25 medical records falsely documented

4-11-25 visit contains information of events that did not happen once I have received my medical records 5-7-25. The Nurse Practitioner documented stuff that was NEVER discussed or performed resulting in a lack of trust in this CVS Minute clinic organization.
I’m angry at him taking advantage of my situation and the insurance company and jeopardizing the integrity!! Please BEWARE. Make sure services rendered match charges and things documented actually happened . I have filed many complaints in order to bring awareness to this issue and to protect future patients who seek services there from this health care provider AND to preserve the Integrity of our Healthcare system.

More expensive than ER

What a rip off. Charged me $159.00 at time of appt. for a sinus infection. That was after taking my Ins. info. Then 2 weeks after appt. They charged me another $173.00 on my HSA card for same appt. Would have been cheaper to go to emergency room...crazy. If you can, wait till you see own Dr. or go to urgent care...won't get pocket book drained like these crooks do.

Billed $1000 after being misled multiple times

Apologies in advance for a bit of a lengthy complaint. They appear to have a regular practice of misleading customers about up-front costs and services only to bill for multiple visits months later. I wanted to address some mental health problems I had, but wasn't sure they could help. They told me they could, diagnosed me, prescribed medication, then told me I could go to a pharmacy. Later, I was called and told that prescription and diagnosis were invalid, but was still charged for the visit, which upset me, as the ability to diagnose and prescribe were the main reasons I showed up at all. They recommended I get counseling. I asked, point-blank, about the cost in my first visit and my second visit, was told my insurance covered it, and scheduled future visits on that basis. Three months later, all of my visits were billed to me at full price, for around 130 dollars apiece.

No hate to my individual practitioners, they are competent professionals, but the business and billing side of this operation is a mess, and I feel disrespected and misled. I would love to praise the people that treated me, and I apologize if this does not come off as even-handed. Unfortunately, my experience has been stressful beyond belief. Certainly, I would not have racked up these expenses if I had gotten accurate information at any point during the three separate times I asked for it.

I have a sinus infection and the NP…

I have a sinus infection and the NP Danielle Babbington would only send me out tamiflu which has killed people and I have zero symptoms of the flu she then argued with me and said that’s their standard of care and that they don’t send out antibiotics or steroids I’m chronically ill I know my body and what is wrong with it what it need to get better and she completely dismissed my symptoms and said I have the flu and to wait it out but it’s affecting my POTS and other issues and she didn’t care I’ve never received such horrible care! When you look up Tamiflu it literally says do not take if you are chronically ill like I am as people have died. I’m allergic to most over the counter medication. Very irresponsible to prescribe Tamiflu when I didn’t even test positive for the flu!

I've gotten a bad sinus infection

I've gotten a bad sinus infection, and I work at a childcare facility so I can't easily call out or take off for appointments. I had a virtual appointment with minute clinic with Dr. Joanie Cacciola. She was amazing she explained exactly what I needed to do since my infection was viral she told me what would help make me feel better and help get over the symptoms faster and she was just such a wonderful person thank you very much for helping me out

Short - Term Disability Not Supported

Be aware that CVS Minute Clinic does not complete paper work related to short-term disability. Steps that involve job / insurance notification should be explained to customers in full before paying for the medical visit.

They need to go out of business

They need to go out of business! The whole system is a scam and a joke. Don’t ever use this crappy service for your mental health because they are going to make you feel ten times worse. Red flag number one are the people that answer the phones and schedule appointments. They are hostile and straight up rude. I had to wait two months to be seen because they had cancelled my appointment without any explanation therefore having to wait an additional month. On top of that they randomly assign you a therapist red flag number two. I couldn’t even research anything on the therapist before hand. Red flag number three was the therapist LMFT Jessica. From the start she was cold, detached, robotic and like she was going through the motions and like she was begrudgingly having to listen to me. Her energy seemed like she had a lot of hatred and depression herself. It gets worse as I’m telling her my issues I’m having at work. She’s half listening and sounds disinterested and tells me she doesn’t know what else to tell me and that people suck and blah blah blah and to continue to do what I already know and have been doing which is going on walks and journaling.
Then this is the worst part then she brings up politics unprovoked and starts talking about Trump and how she hates him and Maga and how she doesn’t trust anybody and how I should join an organization and be an SJW if I’m not happy with what’s going on. She just keeps going on and on about politics and her personal life and how she feels like a robot and hates and doesn’t trust people and doesn’t talk to family members. She also said that she’s seeing a therapist herself.
Im sitting there listening to her like I’m the therapist and when I go to tell her about my experience with discrimination that had a lady crossing the street when she saw me her response was an all lives matter response that since she doesn’t trust anyone she doesn’t care the color she would cross the street too! Her true colors came out but I wasn’t surprised. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. Can’t believe this is the trash that they have as a farce for therapy. Like she said fake it till you make it. STAY AWAY AWAY AWAY! MINUTE CLINIC IS DANGEROUS AND SHOULD NOT BE DEALING WITH THE PUBLIC. I hope they get sued!!

I did a 5 min phone call and they…

I did a 5 min phone call and they ordered antibiotics, which did not help and overcharged me $119. I called them and said your pricing is $59 to $119, so I thot a call would be the lower amount. I said I would have went in so they can see the issue for that cost...which they never tell you the amount until after. Rip-off

Rip Off!

My husband was out sick and needed proof for work. He had a virtual visit with a provider through MinuteClinic. It took less than 15 minutes to diagnose him and we were charged $119. What a complete rip off! Unfortunately when you need medical care and have no insurance through work, you’re at the healthcare industry’s mercy and they know it.

Virtual Visit

Just before my appointment time I received a link by text to join minute clinic for my appointment. When I clicked on the link it said "sorry something went wrong on our end. Try again in a few minutes." So I tried and tried again with the same result. So I then called minute clinic, was on hold for over 20 minutes and the end result was my appointment was canceled because by this time it was way past the time of my appointment.

My biggest problem with MinuteClinic is billing.

My biggest problem with MinuteClinic is billing. I received covid and flu vaccines; both of which are fully covered by traditional Medicare, which I have. I got a bill anyhow. When I called, it turned out that they had not attached my insurance info to the bill. I have been a customer for years, so they know my insurance. I gave them the info again, and got billed again. I called and they said insurance was pending. Then I got billed again. This time I found out that for the first phone call, they had not used Medicare as the primary. That's unforgivable, Medicare is ALWAYS the primary. The second time I called, I gave them the info again, but they applied it to the wrong bill. So I called them a third time, and gave them my info yet again. That's when I found out about the 3 previous major errors. They said they'll fix it, but would not issue a written apology. How they can screw up the billing in the simplest of cases; failure to get bills for vaccines covered by Medicare of an established patient to Medicare after 3 tries, is unforgivable. I'm done doing business with them.

Shitty service

Shitty service. I am very disappointed with the service. Sumair Sachwani was unprofessional and rude. I arrived on time for my appointment, but had to wait longer than expected, despite fasting for my blood test. Then, he informed me that they were out of stock on the necessary tubes for the test. This is unacceptable. The clinic’s service was below standard and felt unorganized. I consider this clinic as third world country clinic.

I do not recommend CVH clinics...

I do not recommend CVH clinics as they bill you even if you have 100% insurance coverage. I went with my wife and child to get a tuberculosis test. They said it would cost $80 for my wife and $80 for my child, and insurance would cover everything. After my wife had her blood drawn, they referred my child to another clinic for the same test (costing $380, fully covered by insurance) because they didn’t have a fine pediatric needle, yet they still charged $80 for my child’s visit. However, the doctor told us that everything would cost $160.

Three weeks later, I received a notice that I still had to pay an additional $44 each for my wife and child because the initial $80 was just for the visit, and there was an additional $80 charge per person, half of which was covered by insurance. In total, insurance was billed $620, and I was billed $120. I do not recommend this network. In every other clinic, even dental, my insurance has always covered 100%, and I didn’t have to pay anything. We got my child’s vaccines at another clinic for $240, fully covered by insurance.

Unhappy Customer

I tried to make an appointment. You can't get an appointment till the following day till the mid afternoon.
This happened twice so I wound up in Urgent Care.
I tried calling your 866 customer service number and I was on hold for 45 minutes, the recording says please hold someone will get on the phone shortly.
This is not a good service.

My visit to the MinuteClinic in Mamaroneck NY

I went to the MinuteClinicthis past Friday afternoon for a clogged ear. The NP, Brenda, was very nice however she misdiagnosed me with an outer ear infection and fluid in my ear. She prescribed an antibiotic ear drop. After taking for 2 days with no relief, I called my ENT for an appt. The ENT said that I was misdiagnosed and did not have fluid or an outer ear infection. If you are not getting relief after diagnosis, see your doctor. Thank goodness I did because I’m traveling in a few days and was concerned about flying.
