Deceptive vaccination pricing

Deceptive flu vaccination pricing. They advertise thier services are 40% off. The vaccine is $41 but then they add on a ridiculous $34 administration fee for simple paperwork that has a few questions about your ethnicity & if you've been exposed to covid. The CVS pharmacy just 20 feet away will vaccinate you for $50. Don't waste your money, go to the pharmacy for your vaccine.

CVS values profit over your time!

This is a review of the minute clinic at 4302 Cortez Rd W in Bradenton Fl. I arrived 5 min late for my appointment which resulted I. CVS automatically cancelling the appointment. No problem, my bad, I was able to reschedule for an hour later. The time of the rescheduled appointment comes and goes, as I write this I am still waiting an hour past the rescheduled time. I am told that they schedule 2-4 appointments for every 10 minute interval. I was told that IT recently increased schedule density to improve “patient flow”. Clearly they value their own time far more than that of their customers. I don’t blame the clinicians, who were professional and courteous, but the business practices are abhorrent. Avoid this provider if all possible!

This review is for the Minute Clinic at CVS on College Rd in Greensboro. Terrible customer service, incompetent management. Super charge for everything. Advertised prices are marketing trap, you get charged way more.

covid test for travel…

I scheduled a covid test to travel outside the country at the South 56th CVS minute clinic in Lincoln Nebraska. I had to have a test within 24 hours on my departure so I scheduled it in the morning of my departure. I showed up for my appointment and no one was there. I waited and nobody showed up. I drove to another minute clinic in Lincoln and the person working wouldn't help me, all he said was I would have to set another appointment online but the earliest appointment that was available was too late in the day, I would have missed my flight. I ended up having to go to an urgent care clinic at the last minute that cost a lot more. Do not count on CVS minute clinic, you can find a more reliable health clinic.

Went in for a skin rash... Left with a lobotomy

I needed to visit a clinic for what I believe is a blocked pore. Most clinics need an appointment an I didn’t want to wait, so I decided to try Minute Clinic at CVS in Red Oak, TX. I requested an appointment online, 3/23/23 at 11:20am. I arrived at 11:05. After waiting a few minutes, the Nurse Practitioner on duty, invited me into the examination room. She quickly determined that I needed an antibiotic and was going to write a prescription, when she needlessly decided to check my vitals. I have a history of hypertension; I know this, it is nothing new, but to her, it was the end of the world. She said that I was having a hypertensive emergency, but I was asymptomatic. She told me that I would need to go to an ER, to which I reluctantly agreed. This must have activated God Mode in her, even after I agreed to drive myself to the ER in Waxahachie, she told me that, now, she must call 911. She gave the 911 dispatcher my information and kept insisting that it was an emergency even though I was asymptomatic. My wife (who had been in the waiting area) was invited into the room. She expected to be informed of what was happening. However, a few minutes later, 4 male paramedics came to the room. The NP rudely insisted my wife open the door. Since I had already agreed to visit an ER on my own, the demeanor of the NP had me fearing that if I refused the paramedics/ambulance, she would call the police. I was strapped to the gurney, carted off, and placed into the back of an ambulance. I never received the prescription I had visited Minute Clinic for, but I did get a $300+ ambulance ride.

Lesson Learned

I tested positive for Covid in June 2022, and when I decided to schedule a virtual MinuteClinic visit, I didn't realize I was making a big mistake. I thought I would be saving the hassle of going in person to see my doctor and helping to prevent further exposure to others, so I went online and booked a MinuteClinic visit through CVS. I input my insurance information and the appointment was booked. The doctor - Karen Morrissey - was just going through the motions and seemed indifferent to my case, but I figured hey, it's not my usual doctor, what do I expect? Little did I know at the time, that her practice was out my network coverage area (this was in no way indicated when the appointment was booked). It would be five months before I would realize this when I received an overdue bill for $150 in November! I spent 45 minutes on the phone, transferring between my insurance company and the MinuteClinic customer service (which was 45 minutes wasted as the customer service agent was incompetent and had to ask four times for my account information before ultimately inputting it wrong). I am tired of dealing with this, so after receiving another overdue bill in January, I just paid the full balance. Lesson learned: NEVER USE MINUTE CLINIC. EVER.

Fraudulent payment taken by them

I only put one star because there was no option to put none. I am writing this review because I had a fraudulent payment taken from my account by this company. I had never heard of them before or had anything to do with them
I have reported them to the fraud department at my bank. Scammers, Beware

You won’t find intelligent life forms here.

I had to take my wife in who was very sick in bed only to be told by the nurse practioner that the medication she needed can’t be prescribed because she is currently not sick enough. Shortly after, I was asked to leave because as the nurse practitioner said “I don’t want to go through this again.” I guess the response of being told your loved ones have to suffer with the home remedies that haven’t been working for the last few days makes them uncomfortable. Who knew? Don’t they take an oath to help patients? What about ethics? These are the questions I would be asking the doctor supervising the nurse practitioners if I could find contact info for said doctor. I’ve tried minute clinic and CVS with no luck. If you’re sick and your doctor can’t see you for a few days, skip this place unless you like being aggravated and throwing money away.
