Morimoto Lighting Avis 

I must start out that I have bought Morimoto lights before for this truck and others and love their quality and on-time service. My truck 2018 F150 was hit in a parking lot by another driver. (Friday)
I was out town on a work trip and needed to replace the drivers side smashed light to get back home. I went on the Morimoto website (Saturday) and ordered and paid for overnight shipping. When they arrived (Wenesday)they had sent fog lights. I called customer service, Explained my situation and they appoligized and sent me a R.A. and offered me a 20% refund within an hour and got my taillights out. Pretty great service! I Thought.
When they arrived they had shipped Silverado Headlights and of course they arrived on a Friday Afternoon and they were closed till Monday. I called customer service on Monday and explained the situation the man said he would get an R.A. sent within the hour and again apologized..... I never heard back. I called the next morning (Tuesday) and found nothing was ever done and got the original customer service rep (very helpful) I explained my job was over and I had to get back home and they would have to send them to my home address and now my overnight shipping was into a week and a half. I ended up driving 2 states away with no replacement taillights. They did arrive Wednesday at my home with the correct taillights. Holy smokes!!! What a nightmare!!!
I still havnt seen the 20% refund offered from the 1st mis-shipped product. So much for overnight shipping.

I still Love Morimoto superior quality but man, their part pickers need some training.

I have had Roadz and Rigid Industries lights and you have surpassed them both. While RI has good quality lights you have managed to be even better in my opinion. Thank you for making a great product.

i love the Morimoto line of Lighting products and unique looks.
i ordered a set of tail lights for my 24' F250 and had a minor issue with them. They took care of me ASAP and made everything 100%! right. Their customer service was AWESOME!!
I differently will be ordering more lighting from Morimotohid.com.

I had an issue with the taillights I had purchased about two years ago. One of the seals broke and had moisture in it. After finally reaching the correct person there was no problem getting them replaced. I had talked to about three people and everyone was great. Very happy with with the taillights and other products that I have purchased from them.

The LED fog lights are perfect for my 2015 MX-5 Miata. I could not see at night even with the brightest halogen headlights. Now I see everything so clear. It looks like we have brights on but we stood in front and even faced our other car in front and the lights do not shine into oncoming traffic. They made these so perfect. Also the look of the units on my car make it look great in the daylight with a darker tint than the stock fog lights. Easy for me to install, but I am an electrician, but they also explain so much so you can do it. I just bought this car a few weeks ago and this is the first and best upgrade that made my car perfect. Thank you so much for making these great LED fog lights.

Bought the led low, high & fog lights along with all rear facing lights and footwell lights. Quality is wonderful, headlights are easy to adjust . When I had a question regarding the anti flicker issue, it was answered very promptly. Definitely worth purchasing.

If your looking for top of line lighting you don’t need to look any further Morimoto is the best of the best.. ! Might not be your cheap option because your getting top tier product they include everything you “might” need to install the lighting depending upon what one you choose you could have add ons to make it even better looking and not any other company does that that I’ve found they have the biggest selection for your vehicle specific lights from interior to exterior you won’t regret if you choose to buy your next set of lights from here without a doubt

Excellent customer service. If you’re planning on purchasing Morimoto anything, the best choice is to purchase directly from morimoto. Their customer service is amazing.

I ordered the wrong headlight kit for my car and realized this while the product was in transit to me. I contacted Morimoto customer service, was given an RMA number and consequently informed that I would have to pay for return shipping and that there would also be a 10% restocking fee - all of which was understandable and acceptable to me since the error was mine.

I shipped the item back and when Morimoto subsequently issued the refund, I noticed that the calculation for the 10% restocking fee was calculated not on the cost of the goods but on the cost of the goods AND the sales tax. The cost of the goods was $300.06 and the sales tax was $19.11, for a grand total of $319.17. Instead of charging $30.06 for a restocking fee (which would be 10% of $300.06 -the cost of the goods), they calculated the restocking fee at 10% of $319.17 (the cost of the goods PLUS the tax). In short, I wound up paying a restocking fee on the sales tax as well. This resulted in an extra $1.91 being deducted from my refund (10% of $19.11 sales tax). While I didn't mind paying the return shipping or the restocking fee, I did question the ethics and legality of charging a 10% restocking fee on the sales tax as well as the cost of the goods.

I raised the issue with Morimoto customer service and got the standard 'this is how we calculate restocking fees' pat answer. When I then asked to speak with a supervisor I was told that no one was available and that someone would call me back. No one ever called.

It's important to note that while $1.91 isn't a lot of money, it sure becomes a tidy sum when you multiply that times hundreds or thousands of customers over many years.

I feel strongly that charging a restocking fee on the sales tax is unethical and perhaps even illegal. As such, I filed a complaint with my state's department of consumer protection and shortly thereafter I received a full reimbursement of the entire restocking fee. NOTE: I never wanted or requested a full refund of the restocking fee from either Morimoto or my state's department of consumer protection...this was NOT the objective of my complaint. I filed the complaint because I feel that it is unscrupulous and unethical to charge a restocking fee on the sales tax.

To date I have not received any verbal or written communication from Morimoto that addresses this unfair and unethical calculation of their restocking fees.

Super easy from purchase to install. Price is higher than some but hopefully that means quality and longevity. Overall great experience.

I am very impressed with the lighting and fit. But, the only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the instructions. The scan code for the instructions is not for the current model light. The plug was completely different. When I called technical support they provided the correct instructions.

The customer service team at Morimoto Lighting was great. I ordered a set of headlights for my 2012 Ram and a few days later they offered free fog lights with order of headlights so I sent them a email about the free fog lights and they got back to me and asked which style I wanted and sent them to me no questions asked after seeing my account order. Great customer service. Also the headlights were a great upgrade to my Ram. Thanks @Morimoto Lightning

The 4.0 led lights got here on time and the product is excellent I would recommend Morimoto to anybody. I communicated by email to a lady named Priscilla and she made me feel very comfortable that the company was straight up. Thanks for being easy to work with KB.

Brianna was great tried to help walk me through steps on my OG headlights. Not sure I was doing it right or wrong, but we got settled and figured. My only place for buying aftermarket lighting products.
