The app is dependent on how the surgery (thorndike medical centre) uses it. So works well for repeat prescriptions. Blood test results are ok but don’t give the acceptable parameter readings, so you n... Voir plus

Coordonnées de contact
Bombarded with messages giving false information.
So I used myGP to order my prescription, got my medication on time a week ago.
I have now had to delete myGP from my phone after being bombarded with messages saying my prescription has been delayed, contact my pharmacy,
Spoke to my pharmacist who quite candidly told me 'the message wasn't from us or the surgery, stop using the app immediately, order direct from us.' This appears to be a backward step in the use of technology, however, at 78 years old, with a heart condition, I can ill afford mistakes with regard my medication. Back to quill pen technology, app gone, sad really, when it worked it worked brilliantly, now it seems to have got some gremlins in the works who have access to my medical, medication, surgery and pharmacy records, how?
I am not expecting a reply as it would appear the people running myGP don't and won't acknowledge there are problems and you can't contact them. If they had the courage to read the bad reviews on here they might learn something to their advantage, ostrich, head, sand, comes to mind.
In conclusion, as I left the pharmacy I was approached by 3 other people who had a similar experience and now because they could not contact myGP were deleting the app.
Managed eventually to contact myGP, my head is now aching after banging it against the brick wall, which I might add gave me a more satisfactory answer than myGP ever will.
I’ve been trialling the BP app
I’ve been trialling the BP app. It is very problematic to use. Very difficult to create the correct facial and light environment so as data capture can begin. I’m not sure how BP is measured from basically a facial scan although it appears to work and return meaningful data. How accurate it is or what margin of error it has I’ve no idea. My few successful scans appear broadly similar to readings I’ve taken with a conventional BP monitor but I’m not convinced this app is reliably accurate.
Tried to reorder my repeat prescription…
Tried to reorder my repeat prescription this morning, and my recommended pharmacy had been changed from the one I always use to one that I have never used, 40 miles away. I sent an email to the software developer, the reply was “emails unmonitored” a joke
I sincerely hope that our NHS is not paying good money to this software company
No longer able to see any history
No longer able to see any history . Gp keeps resetting my details still does not work not sure If my prescription has been generated
Software worked till 1st Jan 2024
Then no history
Joke
No customer service or support
Dreadful
Tried to enter details, double & triple checked them, still wouldn’t go through
It suggested sending an email with a screenshot but didn’t provide an email!
I then went to their homepage, found an email ,sent it ,came back as unmonitored & suggested I emailed them.guess what,no email provided
Rubbish
Advertising for blood tests -bad
Advertising for blood tests for sale on the site is dangerous and wrong. Don’t get this app it’s insidious privatisation. 0/5 score.
Dishonest. Do not use
Was nagged and nagged by the app to use home delivery for prescription. Having selected that and since changed my mind it now will not allow me to change back to an in person pharmacy.
I'd expect this kind of tactic from a gutter commercial app not an NHS related app
Hit & Miss
This service is very hit and miss - more miss than hit, I'm afraid. I used it to try and get a GP appointment today. There were only a handful of appointments available and, although I started promptly (at 7.20am), all the appointments had gone and the service taken off-line before I had even finished typing.
This is a pointless website. Doesn't do a thing!
Went through all the processes to join. Then was shown a page stating I need to call the doctors. What is the point of Ask my GP?
I'm all up for automation and online processes but it doesn't do the one job its set up for. This online system could be saving the doctors staff time and effort and instead its just a roadblock and pointless.
I'm now on hold with the doctors and number 17 in the queue.
Waste of time and NHS money
Waste of time and NHS money, all options are not available, doesn't work at all for my surgery.
It's good for ordering meds and booking…
It's good for ordering meds and booking appointments. The only thing I don't like is everytime I've ordered its offering to use a delivery service, as in an online pharmacy. It may sound good but if you press it you will no longer have your perception sent to your normal pharmacy. If like me you use ADHD meds forget them as they don't deliver controlled meds. So you go down to the pharmacy to say I didn't get them then they tell you this isn't your pharmacy anymore you signed with the online one. Can I rejoin you ask? No we're full at the minute. Apart from that it's OK saves me going down all the time.
Not fit for purpose
Why don’t they test these apps before they release them, not on themselves but on real people. It is an absolute waste of time, some of the features seem good but in reality are pointless or more frustratingly ‘not available at your GP practice’, I assumed one of the most important and wanted features was booking appointments but it isn’t available, for me anyway.
Have deleted it as it serves no purpose whatsoever, hope the NHS hasn’t wasted too much on this first attempt.
A shocking waste of our NHS funds…
A truly shocking and time-wasting experience. The so-called ‘developers’ of this app seem to be thoroughly incompetent. They can’t even express themselves in intelligible English. What a shocking waste of our limited NHS funds.
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible, I work with computers all the time, and have bin learning to make my own app and this is a absolute joke. Nothing helps you or guides you in the write way, maybe user friendly, IF you made the app.
Need a cbt license on just to use it...........
this is an awful app
this is an awful app - I work in IT and test apps and websites for a living but I struggle with this one - it is not user friendly and lord knows how someone who is not IT literate or hasn't access to this rubbish app is meant to actually access their GP. If you are feeling unwell the last thing you want is to battle through this to sit for hours waiting for a response - it is no wonder people just go to A&E - at least you get a real person there with out battling an app
I have used ask my gp on numerous…
I have used ask my gp on numerous occasions and it is brilliant. I have a prompt response whether it is email, phone call or appointment. Phoning a gp these days is difficult as there is such a long waiting time to get through. Also you can check what has been discussed on the app. I don’t use apps for social media or Facebook, but this app is a god send to avoid waiting times and quick decisions. I commend my surgery for using it
Well I will also add to this 1 star…
Well I will also add to this 1 star review and I can’t say that I’m not surprised that this company has such poor reviews. It baffles me that they have referred to me a surgery that is in Middlesex when I’m all the way in Romford, I mean what the in right mind would this be acceptable? I’ve now had to re-register back with my current GP, which is taking a lot of time now, (not knowing I was being completely removed by signing up to this but this is my fault for not reading it properly), and due to my health I need to see a doctor asap. I only signed up to this as I assumed it was finding another GP that can be easily available online, such as video chats etc, but I messed this up. This is my lesson to ensure I read things properly before signing up. But the fault clearly is this app, this should not sign you up with a GP that is miles and miles away! Extremely poor and I would NOT recommend.
0/10 application
This is one of the worst systems i have ever seen implemented at any company in my life. Props to the sales guy who managed to get this absolute shambles of a platform sold anywhere but i would advise moving to any provider that uses anything other than this system. corresponding via mail would be a quicker and less stressful endeaver.
Awful
Awful, now I can't order prescriptions. Uninstalled it, re-installed it....now I can't connect with internet to login. When it was "working" a bit - you couldn't arrange an appointment to BP checks or bloods. A VERY VERY SHODDY APP
