The Best Service I've Used!
This is by far the best care service I've used. As soon as I registered I received a courtesy call and was offered help using the service. All the team are really polite and if they say they're going to do something then they follow it through.
What really stood out about HomeTouch is that you can personally review everything about each carer/see their profile. This helped to break down in my selection of the carers that I interviewed. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a carer to use HomeTouch.

A really accessible website. All the information you need to make your choice of carer safely. Opportunity to meet carers before you make your choice. Financial information very clear, a wide range of choices to meet your need and your pocket. I am very happy with the service, and my mother is well cared for.

From the very first contact with Home Touch and through each stage of their uncomplicated process one feels at ease and able to cope with the usual unease that goes hand-in-hand with finding and booking a carer to be 'you' for however many days/nights for your nearest and dearest.
Timely telephone calls were received to ask if all was well with my booking and I was guided through the payment process which was very easy to understand, quick and painless.
Our carer and I had each others mobile numbers so that we could communicate first hand before and during the forthcoming booking and for an emergency should that arise. Our carer arrived as she said she would to meet my Dad and put herself in 'the frame' for her forthcoming period of care with Dad.
Without hesitation, I would recommend Home Touch for all your caring needs.

Reliable and friendly
The carer is very friendly and caring. I am very satisfied with the company who have assisted with any questions.
Our carer is willing to help with all personal care and this helps a great deal.
Treat you like a human being not just a client
We have had 2 carers from Home Touch - both absolutely sweet and obliging. The 'patient' is disabled physically but not mentally and although both have had experience with dementia patients, they are proactive in getting him motivated.
Great idea.
Brilliant, fantastic idea, easy to use. It will be better when they have more trained carers - after the first person who was perfect, we could not find anyone suitable. But I recommend anyone to try to see if they can find a match.
Flexibility and good back up
I'm really glad I found Home Touch. I need flexible additional care in addition to my mother's own live in carer, and I have been able to find the help I need. The carer is very experienced and my mother looks forward to her days with her..
When there was a day that could not be covered at short notice, Home Touch staff found a replacement carer . They have also been very helpful if I had any queries. I have already recommended them.

I've found Home touch to be excellent. Our carer Hayah is brilliant. She is flexible and professional and very caring.When I had to cancel an appointment at short notice,she was more concerned about my mum and the agency made it easy were very quick to issue a refund on the booking.

My husband, who has Parkinson's, and I were privileged to have Cassie and her adorable Toy Poodle, Baxter, visit us at home. Cassie is an absolute delight; her bubbly personality, easy rapport and enthusiasm for her invaluable work made her an instant hit with us. Add to that the dearest little dog who enriched our day by his presence. Thankyou HomeTouch for providing such a wonderful Duo to brighten my husband's day. Live in respite care
I had a last minute need for live in care for my mother while I was on holiday. I was quickly sent a list of potential carers by the team at Hometouch.
Unfortunately the candidate I selected and agreed to come contacted me on the day of the holiday to say she was unable to make it. Not great but the team at Hometouch were incredibly helpful and found an I deal last minute reaplacement.
This turned out brilliantly for us and all my mums care needs were met during my time away.
My mum has had care for several years and it's always been a profession that is undervalued and results in difficulties getting the right people. It's great to see a company strive to make a difference and I will definitely be reaching out to them again in the future.
My mother seems to like her carer very much
It's very early days fir us but todate the service gas been friendly, very efficient and trustworthy. I like the ethos of this organisation and especially. The fact the those in the caring role are paid properly receiving 80% of the cost charged by home touch, I believe this makes for a fairer and more client focused service particularly for those in need.
Overall good service
The information and access to the carers were transparent and straight forward. The overall experience was excellent.

Home care with a personal touch.
On contacting HomeTouch, I was struck by the easy and personal style of communication compared to other agencies who were rather 'business' orientated. When presenting the issues involved, I received good advice and was sent a number of good candidates as carers. All my queries were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The rates charged seem very reasonable. My one criticism is that on the website it gives a rate per day for each candidate and, having booked a carer, it transpired that a rate should be negotiated, so the website should possibly make that clear. Making payments is very easy and bookings can vary according to need.
The carer who was booked was great: patient but firm, very caring and watchful as well as being very supportive to me.

Happiness achieved
An elderly relative had arrived at a stage where her mobility had deteriorated to a point where it was effecting her mentally as physically. Fortunately we discovered HomeTouch and a carer was found and interviewed who lived near her and hey presto! our Aunt has a new lease on life. The carer talks to her, cares about her and takes her out, brilliant.

A first class service
HomeTouch has ensured that I have been able to provide excellent care for my husband who has advanced dementia, The concierge service avoids all the hit and miss dangers of more traditional agencies as one is able to see the experience of potential carers who can meet with the potential client and yourself prior to selection.
All the carers I gave found from Hometouch have been ideal: completely reliable,flexible and very supportive. They have been prepared to take responsibility whilst being sensitive to the fact that they are working in someone else's home.
The staff at Honetouch are always responsive and it is evident that work is constantly being undertaken to improve the IT system.
I feel very fortunate to have happened upon HomeTouch and would recommended very highly to anyone seeking a carer

A professional and trustworthy company.
The website was easy to use to locate a carer suitable for supporting my mum whilst I had a brief holiday. I particularly felt reassured by being able to see the carer describe their area of expertise online and well as reading their profile.
The carer arrived promptly, fully supported my mum and also took time to get to know her and her needs.
it was simple to book and pay online and I will use this company again in the future.

Excellent
I came across HomeTouch while looking online for carers and immediately liked the simple approach to finding a carer of my choice who could give continuity of care to my Mum. I particularly liked being able to look at a video of some of the carers. The thorough vetting process that HomeTouch employs gives peace of mind that good standards are likely to be met by potential carers which is very important when living at a distance. I was looking for immediate help and within 48 hrs of finding HomeTouch, I had employed a lovely carer for my Mum to visit twice a day and she'd started working. She even agreed to work weekends, which she normally wouldn't do, until we can find someone else to cover them. The attentive admin backup has also been very good and I'm confident that if any issues arise, there I'll be someone there to help.I hope HomeTouch will soon be available nationwide. Thank you Jamie and the team.

Straightforward and helpful - definitely recommend
I found this website through a search and thought it was too good to be true so checked other reviews, all of which were positive. I did a quick location search on the website and found various carers in the area where my parents live and from that could identify who I thought would be a good fit to help support my parents, based on the carers experience and specialisms. I messaged a carer directly who got straight back to me and was over at my parents within a few weeks, helping them with a different kinds of practical support. Is a really easy website to use and I was even able to invite my sister as a user so she and I could both manage the carer contracts and payments online for my parents. There is on the spot technical support and everything feels designed to make something that is usually so stressful such a simple and easy process.

A very helpful Company and a wonderful carer for my Mum
I urgently needed someone to take mum to the surgery in her wheelchair for her warfarin checks when the NHS decided to stop Mum's home visits. It was great to be able to shortlist possible carers who lived nearby, and Fatima has proved a godsend. Mum likes her a lot, and we have decided to ask her to come for a couple of hours every fortnight to help Mum around the house. She is proving invaluable, helping Mum with her new hearing aids and being helpful and caring beyond the call of duty. It is easy to email or phone with any concerns and replies come back very quickly.
