Please do not give your money to them.
Since the rules change they offer no value whatsoever. You have to book your tests. All they can offer is to find you a driving instructor, one Google search and it’s done for you. And they can offer an app which lets you switch tests. Which for one doesn’t ever have any tests on it and for two you’re better off using the official government website for cancellations.
Please either do the work yourself for half the price or use another company

Following the DVSA rule changes, we altered our service to remain fully DVSA compliant. We now provide a notification service that alerts pupils when suitable driving test dates become available, allowing them to book directly with the DVSA. We also offer a DVSA-compliant test swap service, enabling pupils to exchange an existing booking for a more suitable date where available.
Many of our customers continue to find these services valuable, so the claim that we "offer no value whatsoever" is simply your personal opinion and not a factual representation of our business.

(Edit: Unfortunately the company's main priority is to be dishonest even in their response to my honest account. This is a tactic I have seen across all their responses to the many negative reviews left. It’s such a shame the company puts more effort into responding to complaints which are conveniently visible to others and new customers than actually supporting customers real problems in present time! One look at their responses and it proves my point their main agenda is as usual to discredit peoples unfortunate negative experiences rather than take accountability…)
Please do not go with this company. I am writing this review as it is a warning I wish I had seen myself.
The company was a complete shambles. They just took the money and offered no support. The new rule changes mean there is no point in going with a company who can no longer do anything for you despite the company’s claims that they can. I had to organise my test myself and deal with all the stress of chasing a cancellation. There test swapping app was no help either. Even the little they “could do” was a disaster. I would be allocated an instructor then they would cancel or pull out before I even had the chance to meet them? Then I hadn’t been allocated any instructor and my test was alarmingly close. I received no help and instead they tried to switch the blame onto me somehow, saying why did the instructors cancel? (This was obviously the scam they do so they can keep the money when they don’t provide you an instructor!) It was infuriating to have a company twist the narrative, take the money and run! I was lucky I was able to take screenshots of every single message with my instructors (because yes it sadly got to that point). I could have simply organised a driving instructor myself for far less trouble (one that would actually show up) since I did everything else myself anyway… Why go with a company that can’t book you a test, can’t provide you with decent instructors, won’t provide you any support and when they don’t deliver blame you! You can do it all yourself for far cheaper and far less stress. I wish I had! So please be careful when choosing a national intensive course! It is a massive regret of mine. It was problem after problem constantly. Believe me I really could go on listing another 500 problems but I hope this is enough of a warning to stop people being scammed by the rudest company I have ever encountered. I would not believe a word that comes out of their mouths as they constantly lie.

We appreciate that not every experience is straightforward, but it is important that reviews distinguish between personal opinion and verifiable fact.

Absolute scam
Absolute scam. My partner paid half to national intensive, half to the driver. It was well over 2k in total. Her instructor spent 3 months getting her up to 31 hours and only taking her to second gear! She was no where near ready for her test in July. We're trying to get a refund and these grifters made my partner feel like it was her fault. Do yourselves a favour and go with another driving school. Luckily my partner is now excelling with a different company.
Further reply: My partner experienced her instructor taking phone calls during sessions and a general lack of engagement, it's nice to know you put more thought into your replies on trust pilot than you do vetting the people you refer customers to.
This review is opinion but is grounded in fact. "National Intensive Ltd operates solely as a booking and administrative agent for independent driving instructors and schools registered with us. These instructors and schools deliver intensive and semi-intensive driving courses across the UK."
We were mislead that is fact. 1 hour a week for 3 months does not even remotely reflect an intensive or semi-intensive course. You have misrepresented the service whether that was a failing of the specific instructor or administrative error on your part because of the partners you choose to collaborate with. We will be going to citizens advice as we did not receive the service we paid for that is a fact.

However, we are still unable to investigate the matters you raise because you have not provided a course ID, booking reference or the email address of the pupil. This review has been posted under your name, but you have confirmed that the course was taken by your partner. Without sufficient information to identify the correct customer file, we cannot verify the circumstances or comment on the specific claims being made.
You state that your review is "grounded in fact"; however, a number of the statements made are your interpretation of events rather than verified facts. If concerns such as instructor conduct or lesson quality had been raised with us, we would have been able to review and address them at the time. If a pupil has only progressed to driving in third gear after a number of lessons, that would generally indicate they were not yet at the standard required to progress further or to be ready for a practical driving test. Approved Driving Instructors (ADIs) are qualified professionals who teach at a pace based on each pupil's individual ability, confidence and safety. It would be irresponsible for any instructor to progress a pupil more quickly than their ability allows.
The fact that your partner is now excelling does not mean the original assessment was wrong. It is entirely possible that the additional lessons and experience gained since then have enabled her to reach that standard. Learning to drive is not a race, and every pupil progresses at a different pace.
We also reject the suggestion that we are a "scam." We have clear terms and conditions, provide the services purchased, and always aim to support our customers throughout their learning journey. We appreciate that not every experience will meet every customer's expectations, but it is important that public reviews distinguish between personal opinion and factual statements.

I had a great experience with National Intensive. The whole process was incredibly quick and easy from start to finish. Booking was straightforward, communication was clear, and everything was organised efficiently.
I'd previously taken a practical test in a manual car before deciding that automatic was the right choice for me. National Intensive made the transition so easy and quickly matched me with a fantastic local instructor.
I was matched with Wayne, and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. He was patient, calm, and incredibly encouraging throughout every lesson. His clear explanations and constructive feedback really helped build my confidence, and he tailored each lesson to focus on the areas I needed to improve. I always felt supported.

Nadeem was great
Nadeem was great. Constantly helped when I was anxious before the test. Obviously won't be as efficient since the change in how tests are booked. But there are other ways to find tests. Would recommend

Driving instructor Alun is brilliant at…
Driving instructor Alun is brilliant at his job.
He’s patient, kind and a down to earth kind of guy.
I’d definitely recommend him to others.
My only problem I have with national intensive is I only paid for this course as it stated that National intensive would sort out my actual driving test too and then I’d be able to finally take my disabled partner out shopping.
I’ve been struggling for the past 3 years to get a test date and now I’m back to square one! 😢

Regarding your driving test, we completely understand your frustration. However, you were advised in May that, due to changes introduced by the DVSA, only the pupil can now book their own practical driving test. As a result, we refunded the fee you paid for us to arrange a test.
We also provided guidance on the best way to secure a test and invited you to join our Test Swap service, which sends alerts for earlier appointments once a driving test has been booked. To date, we have not been made aware that you have booked a practical test, so have been unable to send you any alerts to search for an earlier appointment.
We genuinely appreciate your feedback and wish you every success in getting a test booked and completing your driving journey.
