Poor
Overpriced. Over £1000 to national intensive to just organise a course.
Instructor wasn’t brilliant, didn’t speak great english, and got agressive and angry if I made a serious fault in mock tests. Was not always patient.
However, he did have a good car for me to drive and gave me lots of mock tests.
I did pass first time, but I did already have a high level of driving ability before my course.

We do, however, feel that some of the comments in your review do not reflect the service provided. Our course prices are clearly displayed before booking, allowing every customer to make an informed decision before committing to a course.
The instructor you refer to has successfully delivered many intensive courses and has consistently received positive feedback from previous students. We have never received complaints of the nature you've described, which suggests there may have been some misunderstanding regarding his instruction or communication. Safety-related feedback during mock tests is an important part of preparing learners for the real driving test, and instructors will always address serious faults to help improve driving standards.
It's also worth noting that your instructor conducted several mock tests with you, which require a significant amount of additional time and preparation. Many instructors would not continue to provide repeated mock tests if they felt a pupil was not yet at the standard required to pass a driving test. The fact that you passed first time demonstrates that this preparation was effective.
While we're sorry that parts of your experience did not meet your expectations, we appreciate your feedback and wish you many years of safe and enjoyable driving.

Driving Instructor Nitesh B. (Slough) 5 Stars
Nitesh is an excellent instructor for anyone in the Slough/Uxbridge areas. Highly recommended from someone who has recently passed their Practical test as a slow learner, and quite a nervous disposition. Nitesh is not only extremely patient and understanding of different approaches to teaching but is also always more than happy to tailor lessons and pacing to the student, while ensuring consistent progress. I have previously had other instructors and can absolutely say Nitesh is among the absolute best of them. 5 stars, 10/10

Amazing
The company was very easy to use, got my instructor Naheed and he is lovely, so helpful and helped me get to where I need to be to pass my driving test 1st time. I’m happy I went with national intensive as I didn’t have to anything at all, they book the test and all you have to do is arrange dates.

Unacceptable delays, constant stalling tactics, and still no refund after 17 emails
I booked a driving course with National Intensive and cancelled on the exact same day, well within my 14-day statutory cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. No instructor had been assigned and no test had been booked, meaning zero costs were incurred by the company.
Despite a clear, lawful cancellation, getting my £350 deposit back has been an absolute nightmare. Instead of honouring the cancellation immediately, National Intensive engaged in continuous stalling tactics across 17 back-and-forth emails. They repeatedly attempted to offer partial "goodwill gestures" and made excuses about internal procedures to retain my funds.
When they finally agreed in writing to issue the full £350 refund, they stated their in-house processing takes five working days. That deadline has now passed, yet no money has arrived and no Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) has been provided to prove the transaction was ever initiated.
This company makes it as difficult as possible to claim what you are legally owed once you request a refund. I am now forced to pursue a formal chargeback through my bank. Save yourself the stress and avoid booking with them.

We're sorry that you feel disappointed with your experience, but we do feel this review does not accurately reflect what has taken place.
Following your cancellation request, we have maintained regular communication with you throughout and have never refused your refund. As part of our customer service process, we offered a goodwill option to retain your booking if that was something you wished to consider. This was entirely optional and was not a refusal to process your cancellation.
We also explained on several occasions that refunds are subject to our standard in-house processing times as it would be for all businesses,before being transmitted via the payment provider. We confirmed that your refund would be processed today, as advised. Once the refund has been submitted, the timescale for the funds to appear in your account is determined by your card issuer or payment provider and is unfortunately outside of our control.
With regard to your request for an Acquirer Reference Number (ARN), this is not something we have access to or can generate ourselves. An ARN is only available once the refund has been processed through the payment network and is made available by the payment provider or acquiring bank. Until the transaction has been completed within the banking system, your provider wil be unable to provide this reference until then .
We appreciate that waiting for a refund can be frustrating, but we believe our communication has been clear and consistent throughout. We remain committed to resolving this matter and are happy to continue assisting you directly should you have any further questions.

Absolute joke of a company
Absolute joke of a company. Despite the lack of comms and unable to get hold of people to speak with, my daughter turned up for test today and the instructors car had no MOT, so couldn’t sit test.

Unfortunately, we're unable to identify your booking from this review alone. If you could provide your course ID or the email address used to make the booking, we'll be able to locate your file and investigate further.
Please contact our office as soon as possible. We will liaise directly with the ADI regarding the situation, as it is the instructor's responsibility to ensure their vehicle meets all legal requirements, including having a valid MOT.

I spoke to Yad, today and he was very knowledgeable on the UK driving system and how to go forward and book a driving test. He gave me all the information that I needed to help my daughter on her way to passing her driving test next year. Totally recommend Yad as he seems a very knowledgeable and professional person.

I had a brief issue getting into contact with my driving instructor, however James from National Intensive helped get me into contact and also assured me other arrangements could be made in time before my test if the worse came to worse and I couldnt reach my instructor which massively helped.
