Very good service and well packaged
I only ordered one small item but it was delivered very quickly, well packaged, and at a reasonable price. On my experience I can’t fault Nippy Norman.
Beware
Beware, had to return goods as weren’t suitable, Nippy Norman’s agreed I could return them, send recorded and tracked parcel, which was confirmed delivered. Still waiting for a refund and no answers to my emails. Can’t call them, so one can only assume they are ripping me off of several hundred pounds.
Exellent customer service
Ordered cylinder head guards for my R1250RS. Exellent order update and quick delivery from UK to Denmark.
Unfortunalely one of the covers was missing a part (small integrated washer). Complaint was dealt with professionally and a new cover recieved with no delay or hesitation.

I ordered a Wunderlich Xtreme hugger for my GSA, at £189, but received the Puig version which shows on their website for £169. I’m guessing the items are in fact virtually identical, and was therefore happy to keep the Puig version with a £20 refund. I emailed NN to advise this, but no response received. I filled out the ‘Contact Us’ page a few days ago, and guess what, no reply again. Seems from reading other comments below that NN likes to con their customers by supplying cheaper parts and pocketing the extra profit.
I have contacted them previously with a question about an item I’d bought from them, but never received a response to that either!
If I’ve not heard back by next week, I’ll advise them that Trading Standards will be notified (although I doubt if they’ll read my message anyway)
I’ve spent a lot at NN’s, but never again.
Attitude!
I like the website - very mobile friendly too. I've had a lot of gear from them over the years....but there is ONE thing that lets the down - personal interface. I made a call about an erroneous purchase and wanted to change it from 1 mat to 3 mats. I found the chap on the other end quite unfriendly, matter of fact, bored that he had to take a call and speak to a real person maybe? Don't know if his name was Nippy or Norman but whoever you are you should realise 'attitude' is everything. It forced me to write a review and take up another chap's advice and use Bahnstormer Motorrad in future!

Ordered Some bits for my GS, 5 days later still not posted, emailed, rang, left several messages. Do yourself a favour if you need GS parts go to Bahnstormer Motorrad, a lot easier to deal with....

Excellent Service - premature battery failure at 2yrs old; requested to return for refund or replacement with no quibble; returned battery and Nippy Normans sent replacement immediately arriving next working day. You can't fault that service!

1. Clunky website - needs modernising
Not everybody who orders from you is a bike expert - some of us are just trying to find a great gift for the biker in our lives. The filters (which non experts rely on) don't work properly and I ended up ordering the wrong thing and having to return it, which would not have been an issue if it wasn't for the poor process and service described below.
2. Prehistoric returns process
The returns section says to include a hand-written note. ITS 2019. Every other company out there includes a returns slip in their packages. There was no information whatsoever online on what should be included on this note.. which leads me nicely onto my third point.
3. Customer service
When I emailed for clarification (politely) on what I was meant to write on my handwritten note, I got an email back saying "Wow - first time for that question." I do not appreciate this tone as a customer, my initial email was nothing but polite and the first response gave me no clarity, so receiving the above as a response to my second request for clarification is quite frankly rude and unprofessional.

I have bought loads from NN over the past year or so: I had one item with missing components in the sealed bag - sorted, no problem. Another item didn’t fit - returned, refunded, no problem. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again.
I ordered a screen for a BMW S1000XR.
I ordered a screen for a BMW S1000XR.. It was delivered very quickly but damaged. I asked for a replacement and the sent another via DPD instantly saying this was a checked one. This was damaged in exactly the same way as the first. I emailed again and the new one arrived within 2 days, finally in perfect condition. All service was very fast but I was naturally disappointed with the original damaged screen. However, it is important they deal with problems quickly and they did. There was no cost to me as is stated in other reviews so I will give them another chance should I need a product.
I ordered a Wunderlich windshield for…
I ordered a Wunderlich windshield for my F800GT. Ordered on Monday, delivered on Wednesday. All good so far. Opened the box and the item was branded "Puig" not "Wunderlich". I raised the matter by phone with NN's and was given an explanation along the lines of "Wunderlich don't make all their stuff themselves" and was invited to return it at my cost. On reading these reviews I was uncomfortable with that option seeing as how NN's would then have my screen and my money! Further research revealed that the screen delivered was available elsewhere without Wunderlich branding for about £30 less! I decided to send an email trying to appeal to their better nature, making no demands or threats. That's been ignored. So, the lesson to be learned is, if you want a Wunderlich screen do a bit of research and you'll find exactly the same screen with Puig branding elsewhere for a considerable saving. I paid NN's £129 delivered for my screen, and I've found it elsewhere this morning at £89.44 delivered. What's really disappointing is almost half of these reviews are one star but NN's clearly don't care. NN's has a swaggering arrogance about themselves that they're really not entitled to. There will always be an alternative, and in this day and age, with information so freely available, eventually NN's will find their order book drying up.

My problem with a company like this is when they manipulate their reviews.
I bought a product, (Tobinators), that are supposed to improve the positioning of your wind shield. They were absolutely useless and caused the faring to crack as you are forcing the screen past its physical restraints.
When I tried to leave a negative review NIPPY NORMANS would not allow it to be issued.
First class service
Having read a lot of negative reviews about NN I was understandably wary about buying from them. I needn’t have worried, order placed Thursday, dispatched Friday and safely arrived Monday all updated by email. Absolutely delighted with the cockpit bag and will definitely be using NN again
Replacement Bracket for an R Nine T Screen.
4 years ago I bought a screen for my R Nine T from Nippy Normans. Now, after 4 years and well outwith any guarantee period, one of the brackets snapped. Nippy Normans have replaced the bracket completely free, gratis and for nothing. Fantastic service and i wish all Suppliers were so efficient and kind. These guys are more than good, they are truly excellent.
Very bad customer service.
I bought in good faith a set of tobinators for £69, I tried to fit them and they wouldn't fit because someone had fitted an Adventure screen before I got.the bike. I phoned NN and he said if it was unscratched I could return it. I said a couple of items were scratched but I would buy the more expensive tobinators (over £90 for the Adventure bike) swap the scratched bits and send back a pristine kit for a refund on the first purchase. He refused and put the phone down on me. Very poor customer service and it goes without saying I will never use him again. I wonder why he got the name nippy!

Do not buy from Nippy Normans - Have bought some things and not had a problem - then I ordered a short clutch lever - expensive at £109 - it arrived and I fitted it, then on 1st use the extender fell off - I sent a photo and complained - they sent a photo and said 'did I mean this part' - I responded yes, assuming they would send another, but nothing and that was a month ago. No response - no email - No customer service - however I have found out where they operate from which is a house and am going there next week to sort it out.

Good product, good delivery
I bought a screen from NN, and it arrived on time and was as ordered, perfect, so no problem there. I'm a little apprehensive about buying from them again though as there is no phone number on their site. If an issue was to arise I'd be concerned about the quality of their customer service (going by the reviews..) and relying on email only. So my only message to Nippy's would be expand on your method of communication - ie. get an number and judging by the feedback, improve your customer service.
