Requested a quote today based on a advertised quote on their website. Met with an unprofessional and rude response 'By your logic I guess it would be the same price in calcutta or Edinburgh maybe a wedding in Paris?' Without offering any explanation.

Clearly only caters for a certain type of client... avoid at all costs! Dodged a bullet here.

Great service, friendly driver, ordered the white hummer for my daughter and her twelve friends. Arrived on time and they had a wonderful time!

We contacted Moments Car Hire for my mums birthday and from the first call to the second we were dropped back - the service was amazing. The driver called us before reaching us and was very attentive and accommodating. Cant thank them enough for making my mums birthday extra special !

The experience was perfect and over my expectations money well spent. The driver was very helpful and kind and always made time for us for any pictures or requests which was needed. I will definitely be using the services again and very very pleased on the whole experience.

Used the service for a special date, and had a great evening. The service was top notch and will definitely be recommending them. Also, to top it off the our driver was very knowledgeable about things concerning the city, which made a great night perfect. I couldn't fault the service even if I tried. They absolutely know what they are doing.

Ruman was our driver and he was great. The kids loved him. He even had a box of quality sweet that that gave. He did not need to and it was appreciated. Thanks a bunch everyone for making this event wonderful

So we booked a car with this company on the 2nd May for our wedding on the 5th August for 6 hours in a Phantom. We sent the itinerary a week later & were told everything had been recorded & it was all ok.

Fast forward to Friday 2nd August. I send a message in the afternoon, to Habib, double checking everything was set, so there were not going to be any last minute issues. Received a reply saying everything is good to go.

I then get a message at 1am on the 3rd, asking if the last part of the itinerary was being done by someone else. I replied saying no. After all that’s why it’s on the itinerary, I’m not going to send them pieces that aren’t directly to do with them. I was told I’d only booked 6 hours. I said yes but since we were only using the car for 4.5 hours in the morning, we thought that it would be ok for the driver to come back for our grand exit and drop us off in the evening, the journey is only 15 minutes. I also offered to provide lunch & refreshments for the driver.

Here’s where it turned sour.

“What’s the driver going to do from 3-9:30? Maybe you’d rather split the 6 hours over 6 days?”

I said “whatever they like. Go home, hang around, it’s upto them.” This is supposedly a local company who do a lot of jobs in our area so I didn’t see this being an issue. I then get a message saying “I’ll send your deposit back. Give me your bank details.” I replied “all that needed to be said was no that’s not possible.” From here we could have asked what the extra charge would be or if it simply wasn’t possible full stop, we would’ve found an alternative solution for our grand exit.

Attitude didn’t stop there. “No bro. This is not about "not possible" it’s about taking the p*ss.” At this point I was fuming with the way I was being spoken to, so just said “return the deposit and draw a line under it.”

I appreciate how I’m the one who may have made the error here with my request but I’ve never hired a chauffeur driven car so didn’t know the ins & outs. But to respond with sarcasm, a rude tone & cancel the booking 48 hours before the event is disgusting! The lack of professionalism & unnecessary attitude is going to cost this company in the long run. Not to mention he had no problem charging us for 6 hours when he thought we were only using the car for 4.5 hours.

You only need to look through the bad reviews they have (unfortunately we did this after this experience) to understand what type of company they are. Driver yelling at autistic children playing in the back of a Limo “shutup you ret*ards.” Or the owners response to a review regarding his driver turning up late & dropping off early “if only you went to school and finished your GCSE in English we would not be having this conversation and I would not need to deal with this” & one of their drivers trying to cut short a 2hr birthday ride after 40 mins & the owner responding with “The problem with bad parenting is that you look at blaming the whole World for your ineptness.” Just a couple of examples from their reviews which shines a light on their fleet of drivers & ownership.

They may come in as one of the cheapest when you’re looking but there’s a reason for that.

I ended up booking with JD Prestige at very short notice & asked the same of them in regards to the itinerary. They charged me for 5 hours in the morning & an additional fee to do the evening exit. That’s how simple it becomes & how you make more money through simple, clear & professional communication.

If you’re looking in the Surrey area I’d recommend talking to JD Prestige, everything was spot on! Car was clean, the driver was so helpful, professional & friendly & the whole experience was stress free. SJ chauffeurs were another company I spoke to who were very helpful on the phone & have very good reviews online.

Literally don’t need to add anything extra here. You shoot yourself with your responses to bad reviews. The language you use & the lack of self awareness or acceptance of errors says it all. Everyone is looking for the cheapest deal, I just expect to be spoken to in a professional manor. We aren’t friends or acquaintances, so what makes you think you can talk to myself & other customers in this way? YOU RUN A BUSINESS!

Also please don’t talk about Islam, the way you speak with people is also part of your deen & you have a long way to go in that respect!

You’re exactly the type of example of why people don’t want to business with South asians. The smallest problem & all professionalism & manners go out the window & it’s everyone else’s fault but your own!

When I booked with JD Prestige I went to explain the situation to them & they knew who moments car hire were for all the wrong reasons & said they’ve come across a number of other customers who have found them after an awful experience with moments. Funny you’ve built that rep with other companies within your own industry.

We hired a beautiful White Rolls Royce for our Daughters wedding. Unfortunately, it was a wet morning, but the car arrived early, and the lovely lady driver was fully prepared with an to hand, so our beautiful daughter didn't get wet.
We would highly recommend OH Cars for your special occasion as they are polite, punctual and professional.

I've never come across this sort of company that is so unprofessional and rude with absolutely no training of manners!!!

I sent a WhatsApp message to the person in charge of the limo hire prices and all I asked was for the price range of the hummer limo, I got a quote of £450 for 1 hour, and I requested in a kindly manner if I could negotiate a slightly cheaper price as this price was over my budget just for 1 hour, this nasty rude individual text me back saying their going to block me just for negotiating a cheaper price which I thought would have been reasonable for 1 hour, and the person blocked me on WhatsApp which is very rude and disrespectful… don't waste your time using this horrible service that don't respect people and only want to take your money with not 1 drop of courtesy of good manners and pleasant customer service. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Movements Car Hire were amazing and I highly recommend them. They communicated so well with us before the event and even made a few changes for us weeks in advance. You truly made our boy's Prom day so so special. The driver was so kind, friendly and very patient with the 16 boys who very excited to get into the Hummer Limo. What a wonderful memory thank you Moments car hire.
