Good on clarifying medical exclusions for travel policy. Not the cheapest- but wide ranging cover on bike holidays. Would be good if included theft!

Yeah very easy to organise single trip travel insurance for my Mallorca cycling trip! Very friendly and helpful over the phone which I prefer to do it this way. Got all my emails through with the relevant attached pdf documents. Yeah good service! 😀

Hi Robert, I think it is unfair to have left us a 1* review. As stated in the eligibility criteria at the point of purchase, cover can only be issued where a trip has not yet commenced - you acknowledged you were fully aware of this and purchased the cover regardless. As the policy would not have been valid, we cancelled and issued a full refund immediately. Many thanks, Team Pedal Cover

Accurate quote and very competitive prices! Over £200 cheaper than my previous insurance provider for 2 ebikes. Add ons were easily applied and website easy navigate with online form easy to complete. Logged in very quickly and setup account with ease. Got initial quotes through bikeradar, so recommend!!

We've been with Pedalcover for a number of years and the service received has always been excellent. I have previously claimed following a cycling accident and the service was second to none. We recently moved home and Joe from Pedalcover was very helpful in facilitating this for us.

Select your dates accurately
The website appeared to work. Selecting mountain biking worked and it did appear to be listed in the schedule which was a relief. It was noticeable that reducing the cover to only the days cycling rather than a more vague date did reduce the premium accordingly. (Note reply from insurers. This was not what they intended. Dates should cover all travelling as well. Could be clearer on their website.)
Thankfully I did not need to give the insurance a real test. (Judging by the stream of helicopters others were not so fortunate.)

For future reference - the dates selected need to cover the full duration of the trip and not just the days you are cycling, this is in the eligibility statements on the website (which you have to click that you have read and agree to to be able to continue) when purchasing single trip travel policies.
