Extended cover to worldwide for my bike racing in triathlons

Good cover options
Good cover option, best value and easiest if you have expensive bikes. Slightly frustrating if you have second hand bike and no receipt - would be nice to be able to agree a cover amount based on model and age.

Hi John, Our policies, like most cycle insurance, require bikes to be secured with a suitable Sold Secure-rated lock, as clearly outlined in our terms. Cables provided with some locks are generally unrated, and this was communicated to you before purchasing the policy. Our staff went out of their way to explain these requirements thoroughly to ensure you fully understood them. This advice is given to protect you and help avoid the disappointment of a repudiated claim later. It’s disappointing that your one-star review conflicts with the good advice and transparency we provided.
good when you need to claim for bike theft....
Recently had a break in to my garage and had a couple of bikes plus a few accessories stolen. Pedalcover sorted the claim out very quickly with a minimum of fuss. I also have some buildings damage that needs to be sorted, and that is being dealt with a little bit more inefficiently by their separate underwriters, but as far as the cycle insurance goes, it was a very good experience. They say you don't know how good an insurer is until you need to claim - so 5 stars from me.

Disappointed in auto renewal
Update on original . Pedalcover have been in touch and amended the policy to now cover me for flooding. Slight increase in fee. One more star given now to reflect the amendment.
Disappointed. Was happy with cover last year. Missed info in an email stating cover will change this year. Auto renewal came through and I noticed I was no longer covered for flooding. Quite important as I live next to a river! They knew this when I took insurance last year but instead expect you to spot changes to the policy and tell them prior to renewal. Cancellation or amendment will incur charges

I recently had an excellent experience with pedal cover, that I feel compelled to share. From the moment I reached out for assistance, the customer service team was incredibly helpful and attentive. They guided me through the claims process with ease, ensuring I understood each step along the way.
