Great atmosphere

great campsite, staff were very helpful and friendly on arrival, let us choose where we wanted to set up and then brought the fire pit round. facilities are good, it’s in a great location, literally 10 mins from cheddar and a few minutes from a local brewery which does great pizza. really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again

Great site, lovely staff, convenient to cheddar and the gorge. Very clean with excellent amnesties. Would have loved the food stall to have been open but understand it’s the end of the season. Would highly recommend. We had 3 powered bell tents 7 adults and 4 kids. Very well catered for

What a fab stay - we were visiting family near by so wanted a local site just for one night

The staff were so friendly and helpful and made sure we pitched exactly the right spot for us

Lovely walk into Cheddar and then to the brewery which is literally 5 minutes from the campsite

I would say the welcome was the most outstanding as when you arrive you are greeted in such a friendly manner, everything is explained and questions answered and then you are guided to your plot by a member of staff on a motor buggy. Staff came around in the evenings to see if you needed wood for your fire pit/BBQ. The toilets and showers were constantly cleaned. We also had a field to ourselves for our families. Even though we didn't have the best of weather this was a memorable camping weekend for me and my family.

This was our fourth time staying as a one night camp and as always amazing, friendly staff, excellent clean facilities and just an amazing place to stay.
Highly recommend.

I spoke to a women via phone call regarding what time I’ll arrive due to long distance away from the camp site and while being on the phone to her she came across as rude and snappy within the whole conversation and it’s not something I’d like to hear from a worker who should have provided much better service and communication to the people coming to camp out for a couple days or so, I would definitely not be coming back here again

So friendly and great location with good facilities. Really well organised and could stay all day on day of departure!

Good email communication prior to our visit.
This is a large site which caters for all camping motorhome and caravaning needs.
Warm showers and flushing toilets were a plus too.
Fire pits provided for a cost with wood and fire lighters included.

Decided to try Petruth Paddocks camping as friends have stayed there a lot and our usual site was full. We were made very welcome by the staff booking us in and showing us to our pitch, on site shop was well stocked and the food/drinks van were a very welcome extra for breakfast.

This campsite was great, all the staff were super friendly and helpful. The facilities were constantly being cleaned and were a great standard. It was a very busy bank holiday weekend but at no point did it feel crowded and loud. We can’t wait to visit again

Petruth Paddocks is a great camp site, we stayed on three separate occasions over the summer. Clean toilets and showers, lovely staff (shout out to Bex) and space! Our dog loved the freedom! We will definitely go back!

Amazing surroundings and lovely people. Everything was very well organized and clean — literally nothing to improve. Highly recommended for the whole family! We just got back with our two sons; they loved it, made lots of friends, and enjoyed the spacious playgrounds for kids. Definitely 5 stars!

Sehr schöner Campingplatz, hat was von Festivalcharakter, gutes Essen, sehr sehr nettes Personal, Sanitär sehr sauber, toller Ort, von dem aus sich Cheddar und Umgebung gut erkunden lassen.

Best campsite ever visited. Tents/Motorhomes/Motor Caravans/Caravans/Cars/Motorcycles all welcomed. Everybody was friendly, staff and visitors alike. Facilities are extensive, clean and available 24hrs. Toilets, showers,washing up, washing etc etc. Lots of friendly dogs for ours to play with. Perfect location for visiting Cheddar and the Gorge etc. What a fantastic vibe throughout.

Excellent campsite!

Well laid out, loads of clean toilets and showers, well thought out check in, green policies in place, lots of extra services and not all cost money!

The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble.

It is by far the best campsite we've been to.
The team, the ablusions, the views, the atmosphere, the shop, and much more are second to none.
The place has everything!

Such an amazing site - repeat visitors with a young family, most chilled and friendly site we have visited!
Excellent facilities, always clean and tidy.
We opted for the new wood fired hot tub, such a treat and worth every penny!!
