Good set up, really close to an excellent brewery

Absolutely fantastic site. This is my second time here and it did not disappoint. Laid back and relaxed. Met on arrival by Jules who could not be more welcoming and accommodating. Toilet facilities amazing, well kept. Would definitely recommend this site to family and friends.

Great welcome, really good site!

Helpful team, good facilities and logical signage all contributed to a restful stay. The hands-on management in evidence gave re-assurance for a future family visit. Of personal interest are the many hills and walks within range...loads to be explored next time!

Little disappointed to be kept awake til 1 with the music from another camper but that happens on all campsites.

Had a lovely weekend Jules was great as always, it's a good quite place to stay close to a micro pub and a twenty minute walk to cheddar

Super-friendly, well-organised site in a great location.

A very warm welcome from Jules with lots of pointers for where to go locally and on our route home. The site was quiet during February half-term, but the cleanliness of the site was maintained despite fewer guests. Toilets and showers are in units rather than bespoke building, so are a little cold, but very clean with plenty of hot water. It is a very child-friendly site with plenty of space and dogs are both welcomed and fussed! The atmosphere was laid back across the site but equally, Jules was around and about for any issues or concerns, with a phone number provided if needed.
The location is excellent for a walk into Cheddar to explore the gorge, and there is also a very welcoming tap room a short stroll away.

Was a great short stay, went for a walk around Cheddar visited four local pubs and had some lovely sausages rolls from the butchers. Staff were friendly and accommodating will stay there again when in the area iny campervan.

I was met on arrival by Jules, the owner, and due to the bad weather, he upgraded my pitch for no extra charge. He was very helpful about not only the site bur the surrounding area, places to eat drink etc. The site itself is lovely and spacious, with lovely hot showers and spacious facilities. The location is fantastic and as a lone female traveller, it is nice to feel safe where you stay. Definitely be back in different weather to enjoy more of the area.

Nice, spacious campsite. Very clean individual showers and toilets. Everything needed to know was explained upon arrival. Good to see recycling actively encouraged Very friendly owner who cam round to see how we were getting on. Great walks straight from the site which is always a bonus

The only thing, I think 10pm is abit early to turn the music of on the weekend, think it should be 11pm, like other campsites.

Spent 3 nights over the new year, very impressed with the site, toilets and showers were spot on , and owner was super helpful and with recommendations on where to go etc , very dog friendly, I’ll be back in the spring, thank you

We stayed here with a group of friends for New Year and really couldn't fault the place! Abby met us to check us in and she was extremely helpful and provided us with all the information we needed. Jules would pop by most mornings to check we were ok and if there was anything we needed, which was a really lovely touch. You can tell the team really do care about their guests experience. Just a short walk into the town and you have a few nice pubs and a convenient Tesco Express along with a few other shops. The Cider Barn was recommended to us by Jules and we had such a fun afternoon there.

We had to pay a £300 behaviour Bond as there was such a large group of us (which i am still waiting to be refunded but aware this can take up to 10 days), however we didn't mind.

We would highly recommend Petruth and will 100% be returning. Our dogs loved the freedom and so did the humans. Thank You Jules, you really do go above and beyond and we had a fantastic time despite the weather!
