Tom and Tyler were fab, very helpful on showing me and Nicola at Weaver Haulage how to use the equipment.

Tom Set up new phone lines very quickly, left everything tidy and explained how to use new phone lines. Stayed behind to ensure i was comfortable with headset and new phone. Friendly and helpful, highly recommend.

Cold Sales Call from this company, would like to name the lady that called but to stay within guidelines of this review, I wont, she very pushy, abrupt and rude despite my efforts to be polite whilst handling the call.
If this is how the sales people act would not even contemplate discussing any further business.
Sales staff need training as they are not a good reflection on the company.

Avoid this company & the company behind them 4Com, the sales people are very pushy & try to get you to sign the contract there & then not giving you time to do your own research on the companies & go through the T&Cs in your own time.

Ultimately they lie throughout the process, they don't tell you that you are in fact leasing the hardware & that you will be paying a finance company.

Hence how they are able to discount the product by calling it a rebate or GOGW however this is only for 20 months at which point you then start paying the higher amount to the finance company.

Ultimately you will be signing up to a 7 year contract totaling in excess of 25k +, yes you can leave 4Com after 2 years but then you will still be tied into paying the Finance Company for a further 5 years at the higher cost.

They try to overcome this by saying they will upgrade you every 2 years at which point they sign you to a further 7 year contract but you wont get the rebate despite what the salesperson tells you.

After 18 months you start getting price increases & the nasty surprises start to land on your lap.

If you go for this you will for ever be tied into a contract & in debt.

Do not do business with this company, thankfully I did not proceed despite being pushed but I held my ground done my research & I am now so glad that i did not proceed.

Do not be fooled by the 5 star reviews these are all from people that have just signed & they get you to leave reviews after the initial install.

Don't just take my word for this check both 4Com & Pioneer Reviews.

Also do staff reviews some of the comments made by ex-staff are alarming & they also admit that the business is a con.

I hope this review helps saves some of you from this & potential heartache.

They are not supporting small business at all they are exploiting small businesses.

Really disappointing experience with Pioneer/4com about a potential new system and demonstrated frankly unethical sales tactics.

A very convincing sales team agreed to set up a sales meetings with local rep (orientated around making sure you see the phones etc and bringing your favourite biscuits).

After some due diligence before the meeting and saw some red flags re: contract length and expectations/pressure to sign on the day.

Called to check contract length options ahead of meeting and when the sales team discovered the MD/signatory wasnt availabe for the scheduled meeting, they advised their policy means we need to cancel the meeting. I pointed out that I am the primary influencer/decision maker and my business case recommendations for facilities contracts are always key to the MDs sign off and if it genuinely wasn't important to sign on the day then his absence was not an issue. Pioneers/4coms answer to this is "we won't pressure you as you always have the ability to say "no"" which demonstrates their entire sales strategy is designed to be predatory/coercive to signing an agreement and not gifting people the space they need to make informed decisions.
