The products and customer service are amazing!

Absolutely amazing service. We were in desperate need for our gender reveal items to arrive on time and Jon was more then accomodating. The response was almost instant and Jon was very kind. Thank you so much, warms my heart knowing there is still businesses willing on going above and beyond 🥰

We ordered 5 cannons for our reveal. 2 confetti and 3 smoke. When we got the cannons you could see blue coming out of them which totally spoiled the surprise as well as there were blue stickers on the bottom of them, which would have spoiled it had the blue not been coming out. Also, when we did the reveal you could see the blue from the top of the cannon, spoiling it for our friends and family. AND two of the cannons weren’t able to go off- so that was a bummer for pics. They charge so much money for these cannons, That should not be happening. This company is a complete waste of money And they overcharge for their crappy product. Don’t waste your time with them.

They sent the wrong confetti for my gender reveal. We chose not to find out the gender of our baby until our gender reveal. We had our midwife reach out to Poof There It Is with the gender of our baby so that they could send the pink or blue confetti cannon. We pop open the confetti and out pops all the BLUE confetti and we cry/ hug/ celebrate with our families. Something felt off so I decided to confirm with my midwife who was completely shocked since she relayed that my baby was a GIRL and that the confetti should be PINK.

When I reached out to Jon, he immediately cancelled my order and refunded my money. He also offered to give me $100 worth of goods from his store. I initially thought he was being nice and courteous but soon realized he did this all in trying to silence me. In him cancelling the order, he also didn't give me a chance to write a review. Secondly, why on earth would I want any other items from his store? free or not?!

You will only find out the gender of your first baby once in your life time and they stole that from us because of lack of attention to detail. Poof There It Is had one job and they failed miserably. I have already escalated the case with Etsy and will shout this story from the rooftops to any expectant parents. I will also find a way to review them because other buyers should know about how shady they are should something go wrong.

I wish I didn’t have to leave any stars for this company. I just want to start off by saying I am a certified RSO and firearms instructor for rifle, pistol and shotgun. I also own a small business, with that being said I just wanted to express how disappointed I am in the performance in the product and how disgusted I am in the behavior of the owner “JON”. My wife and I purchased the “skeet” targets 3 blue and 3 pink for our gender reveal. We ordered 6 targets just so there were no problems. We wanted to make sure we got to shoot at least one so we went the extra mile to order this many. We planned everything out well in advance to make sure everything went smoothly. We had friends and family come from out of state. Everyone was so excited to be a part of this special event. Come time to shoot the “skeet” targets, they were loaded by the range safety officer who does this every day. EVERY SINGLE ONE BROKE AS SOON AS THE WERE RELEASED.....they didn’t even make it out of the target house. They caused a huge mess inside the house and ruined our event that we spent so much time planing. Okay, so if that’s not bad enough we emailed the company and expressed our dissatisfaction with the product politely and stated that we would be happy to send them proof of the product malfunction also send back the unused “pink” targets that shows how poorly they were assembled. We explained what happened and mentioned that we were not interested in bashing their business like most people are so fast to do these days we just wanted a refund on the product that did not work. We were responded to with such an aggressive email it’s unbelievable. I can’t believe that a business owner would talk to customers like that. He literally had no compassion that his product ruined our special event also accused us of trying to extort him and his “family business” said “the skeet targets are not meant to be thrown” but it doesn’t say that anywhere on the website or any instructions that should have come with the “skeet” targets so naturally you would think they are made to be thrown. THEY ARE FLYING TARGETS! After we were talked to like that I sent a second reply that said maybe we got off on the wrong foot text can sometimes give off the wrong tone and I apologized for this misunderstanding and AGAIN politely asked that we get to the bottom of this issue. We have given the owner “JON” 2 weeks to reply and he has just ignored us. I would be happy to show anyone this emailed conversation so you can save your money, time and your special day from this company. I am absolutely furious that someone that owns a business would conduct themselves in this manner.

We did the burnout reveal. Had great service and nothing went wrong. We had a friend order for us and check on the color to verify before we through the party. So everything went great. Everyone loved the reveal. All other reviews on here made us nervous so we built in the time in case we got the wrong color or something. Overall great practice pack and then a flawless reveal.

Ordered two smoke cannons for our gender reveal. When we received them, there was pink powder leaking out of the ends, spoiling the surprise and ruining the celebration. When I reached out to “customer service,” Jon was combative, dismissive, and condescending. This business (if you can even call it that) should be shut down. As others have noted, Jon is a scam artist. Would never recommend this company to anyone.

I honestly was scared after purchasing a baseball from poof there it is because of these reviews, but the baseball was shipped out on day after I bought it. The package arrived on the day estimated and so far so good for my little sisters gender reveal this Sunday! I would 100% recommend them after the great experience I’ve had.

I had the WORST experience!!! He sent the WRONG COLOR. We didn’t know and found out later. We did a big reveal and had our families drive two hours to safely shoot our target and shoot our cannons they were all blue. I sent the video to our friend that sent the gender in and she called me nearly in tears telling me it was the wrong color and should be pink. We didn’t care what we were having but I felt that special moment was stolen. We are first time parents and we’re so excited to do this big reveal. Then when I contacted him to tell him it I was wrong I got one sentence “oh sorry, send proof, we can resend” really that’s all I get? So naturally I left a review anywhere I could and he said I was attacking him and blocked me from all sites. Also he respond to my story by saying it was me and my friends fault because I 1) changed the order ... but what he failed to say was I had to change it because the substance required to set off the box we bought is ILLEGAL where I lived and didn’t disclose the substance I would need till after the purchase so it’s not like I wanted to change my order and 2) my friend sent and email with the sentence “ this order is a GIRL” and requested a confirmation upon receiving the email. Needless to say he never respond. This man is heartless in my opinion no remorse for ruining couples/families special moments. I will continue to tell people not to purchase from this heartless fraud!!!!!! I hope no parents have to go thru the emotional rollicoaster we went thru.

This was my original review I posted in FB, instagram and Etsy where I purchased ... if he thinks this is “attacking” maybe he should look up the word attack... all I left was FACTS!

Worst experience with this company. They had one job SEND THE RIGHT GENDER. We drove two hours to be able to safely shoot our target, gather families all got excited called those that couldn’t be there sent the videos and celebrated to then send to our helper that sent the information and she was almost in tears to tell us IT WAS WRONG. We were happy either way but to steal that moment, was devastating. My better half felt like we got a cruel trick played on us. I’m a first time mom and will never get that back. They guy didn’t even seem sympathetic or sorry. This company is a joke.

Ordered 1 white practice powder cannon, 1 white practice confetti cannon, 1 pink powder cannon and 1 pink confetti cannon. Seller failed to send correct practice powder cannon and sent a blue powder cannon instead. I expressed urgency to seller to resolve this ASAP. Seller questioned that I was seeing a blue sticker correctly and that it was not white. Followed up requesting a picture and I did not receive a response back. The next day I received a notice that a shipment was shipped to me. Shipment went out on a Thursday “Priority 2-day USPS-snail mail” which did not arrive until the following week (FYI UPS and FedEx have next day air shipments, and this is what should have been utilized). Causing the gender reveal to be pushed to the following weekend. During the reveal the pink powder cannon did not work, when I explained this to the seller they responded stating we must have twisted the cannon the wrong way (Great part about a gender reveal party is the many videos and angles which I was able to review to ensure the twisting of the cannon was properly executed). As you can see their method of customer service consist of searching for ways to blame customers for their failed efforts. I would recommend using alternative sources for your gender reveal needs.

I ordered a smoke bomb for my girlfriend and this website promised 3-4 business days. I received the package nearly 3 weeks after ordering it and the tracking information was very vague. I was unable to use this smoke bomb as it came in much too late for the baby reveal party and now I cannot return it back. I will never order from this site again.

My smoke canons didn't arrive in time. I ordered them 3 days before the gender reveal because I believed the "same day shipping" thing....There is no same day shipping. Such a rip off. I ended up driving around town looking for plan B. I bought some from a paint ball store. Didn't want to ruin my little sisters party. I paid twice. It's 2 days after the reveal and I still haven't gotten my underfundable smoke canons.

This "Jon" guy has to be one of the biggest scam artists. #1 gender reveal is a joke. I ordered a week ahead of time, paid $30 shipping just for priority shipping, it's now a week past and I still haven't received the package, the gender reveal already happened and I'm not getting refunded even if I send the package back when it does come in. Waste of time and money.

"Poof there it is reveals " is so unprofessional. My order was mishandled. I ordered secret reveal cannons and and I was told they were shipped same day as I ordered just to get an email a week late to say they were sold out. I canceled and wrote a bad review and the owner then reveal the gender of the baby to me in retaliation. It was a secret purchase because I wanted to be surprised. A friend emailed the gender in. He was fully aware of this because we discussed it. He refused to give refund. look at all reviews on Etsy. I feel like he pads them with fake reviews. All bad reviews say same thing. Terrible customer service when something goes wrong. Dont trust them.
