cheaper than all the other competitors,I was with a well known home insurance company. i have saved myself £70.00. It's worth shopping around.

I’ve been with Privilege for many years for both my car and home insurance and have always found them to provide good cover together with reasonable premiums. The local call centres are also excellent, you can always speak to someone who is knowledgeable and helpful, unlike many other call centre these days. The only criticism that I have, is that this year, I found it quite difficult to get to speak to someone to discuss my renewal premium. You have to negotiate a protracted automated sequence in order to get connected. I would have awarded them five stars if the access to a human being was easier.

Easy to renew on auto-renewal feature, but premium hike by over 20% from last year without a claim is not on 🙁 hence 4 stars instead of 5

Very poor communication, poor quality replacements, difficult to get work done/ started. Took far too long, and my kitchen leak ended up being a hall and lounge due to their delay. No continuity.
Used a company not from my area, who turned up whenever.

Very good automated system for getting competitive house insurance. Lost a star due to almost useless chat bot that was not able to answer basic admin questions, and a published contact number that does not work but has been replaced by another number - the chat box did provide that number. Overall a good experience and recommended - just beware of the AI.
