Suzie was very helpful but I had to…

Suzie was very helpful but I had to have a baby seat as standard and we don't have children and no in car entertainment which was also standard so we had to pay for that as well otherwise very good.

I cancelled my home insurance with…

I cancelled my home insurance with Privilege in January 2026 and spoke to a representative at the time to confirm the cancellation (Call center in south Affrica). Despite this, I have only now received a final insurance charge and cancellation notification.

This level of service is extremely disappointing. It feels disorganised and unfair to customers who follow the correct cancellation process. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Hi Rajan, we're sorry to see you'd only rate us one star, and you're not happy with our service. If you've received confirmation your policy has been cancelled, then the payment letter will be the charge for the time on cover not paid for. A policy is cancelled on a pro rata basis, meaning we'll keep the money for the days you've used, and refund the rest or charge for the time not paid for. Alex

To expensive lots cheaper out there

Loyalty for customers way over five years price going up not down couldn't even protect my no clams as price was high even after 10 years with them so had better quite today saved myself 70 with all claims protected

We have numerous rating factors that are used to calculate your premium which can change yearly.
