Experience was great. Only thing that caught me out was the small print added admin fee upon final payment.

I had a great experience
I had a great experience, top tier customer service with great communication always insuring the best possible buying experience would definitely recommend
After looking around for a few months
After looking around for a few months, I finally found my car of dreams, what made it even better was the sale journey and the sales process, easy, friendly and didn't feel like I was rushed at all. What more could you want from a car dealership! A massive thank you to Chris (Sales) and Crystal (sales processing)
I would not recommend anyone to…
I would not recommend anyone to purchase from here unless you want a faulty car which requires thousands of cost after purchase it even you have paid a lot to purchase it already.
The car was purchased with indication of passing AA inspection but within one month of purchase, the engine error light was on. I have to take the car to garage for inspections. I spent 500+ for diagnosis, there were issue with DPF part, EGR cooler and EGR pipe. After spending nearly two weekly with warranty company, which did not cover my cost and only offer to clean the pipe to solve the issue I have to take days off to drive car back to quality part x for this.
Not long after this, I need to use my shine protection for my car as I have scratches on them which I wish to fix but was told by quality part x that they did not submit my protection for me even I have paid for this. They can only offer to refund the cover but refuse for any other actions e.g. fix this issue. This will lead to a bill around 1000+ due to their fault.
After I have purchased the car for around 6 month time, the car has issue with track control arm, which need replacement. Front toe adjustment is needed as the car as not even balanced! I have spent another 1000 on this!
Avoid- Very disappointing & misleading experience
AVOID. A must read review before stepping into that dealership. I rarely leave businesses a bad review to this extent but this is very much deserved, and people should be extremely wary of parting your hard earned money with a business like this. They do not comply to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 & go against the AA.
I purchased a vehicle and rejected it within 6 days. I have only been partially refunded as Quality Part X insist on withholding and keeping £299. After multiple promises in person and on email to ‘fully refund’ (I have email correspondence confiming the promise of a full refund).
This is also despite the request of AA car Dealer mediation service.
Before viewing the car, I clearly stated that the V5C logbook was essential and wouldn’t buy the car if it wasn’t with them. Rameez confirmed they had ‘the documents’ over the phone and I was told to come down to the dealership. When I arrived and viewed the car (which was absolutely filthy inside when i viewed and test drove, but they cleaned it before I took it away) I asked on at least 5 different occasions to show me the documents, to which Wasi would go outside the room to ‘deal with another customer’ and other times brushing the question aside completely and changing topic. 2 days later, I discovered they did not have it at all and would need to apply for a V62 replacement and said they ‘don’t do online logbook transfers anyway’ (they do, but they just said that to me as part of more misleading info given). They are an AA approved dealer in which part of their standards is to have full material documentation before purchase of a vehicle. (V5C logbook is a material document). Aftersales is slow, and is indicative that they’d rather not deal with you, constantly having to chase them up.
The car had also not been properly AA inspected before sale (they had first listed the car at least almost 3 weeks before I came to view it, so more than enough time). When I returned to dealer 5-6 days later, with a consistent tyre pressure issue, due to a bucked alloy (fault seen 1 day after purchase) the AA inspection was finally only then completed after it hadn’t been done pre-sale on my 2nd return visit to the dealer. It failed the AA inspection due to a buckled alloy (reason for tyre pressure loss) and two worn, not fit for sale, front tyres. So the car wasn’t even fit for sale at initial purchase. Yet I had been told the tyres were “good enough” and that they ‘wouldn’t ever sell a car with unfit tyres in the first place’ on the day of purchase. They also said when I came back to the dealer that they would have the V5C logbook physically present with them and ready for transfer which is what should’ve happened on day of purchase. They did NOT have it when I arrived. I was there for 3 hours and only when I left the dealership and rejected the car, on my way back home I get a call saying they’ve got a ‘picture of the V5C now’ and can do an online transfer, but at that point it’s too late the rejection and refund has been confirmed and especially after the misleading and deceitful behaviour throughout my interaction with them, they really expected me to turn back 30 minutes into my 2 hour journey back to London after I’ve paid £50 for an Uber after their own failure and caused this mess in the first place unnecessarily causing stress and back and forth wasting my time.
The front passenger electric seat adjustment buttons were also broken off and non existent (I missed this detail when I first viewed the car), but Wasi never mentioned it to me either, despite being sat in the front passenger seat on the test drive.
Now as they are an AA approved dealer, I got the AA dealer mediation service involved as I had tried and failed to get this sorted internally with the business’ complaints procedure, (they didn’t comply with their own policy of responding back to complaints within 5 business days) and simply refused to refund the remaining amount after promising they wouldn’t keep it. And guess what, the AA directly told them to refund me and that they are not allowed to keep the £299 admin fee and should refund me immediately, yet this dealership is still refusing to refund and change their stubborn and wrongful stance. I rejected the car due to missing essential documentation (which I was misled about from the start) and pre-existing faults not a change of mind. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a full refund is required with no deductions. Along with the principal of how I was dealt with and misled multiple times from the first interaction over the phone before coming to view the car. Ultimately, misleading information, poor checks and money still withheld which from my perspective is not compliant with consumer rights. I would strongly advise future buyers to insist on seeing all documents and inspections completed before paying.
Had the car delivered to me in…
Had the car delivered to me in September 2025. Since the warranty expired I have been back and forth to a garage multiple times with engine management light continually coming on - not ideal when my job consists of driving all day. Already had one repair done and looks like I’m going to need hell of a lot more. Angry and sad don’t even come close to it, treated myself to a 2021 car and having more issues than I did with my 2011 car!
Unethical business - lies about vehicle history to maximise profit
I purchased a 2020 Mercedes CLA 180 in November 2025 from the Stevenage dealership (salesman Albi). The car looks great on the surface. I took it for a short 5-minute drive, and it was fine. I asked the dealer about any issues or previous accident and they said no to both. They also insisted that I should buy a warranty and convinced me that it was the right decision. So I purchased one year of warranty. Then it began:
1. The engine's auto shutdown didn't work. This is something that the dealer should have told me - it is the job of the dealership to make sure the car is represented correctly. This issue is caused by fitting a cheap battery to the car. I asked them to fix it using the warranty I purchases and they said the warranty covers everything except the battery.
2. Apple CarPlay does not work. I asked them to get it fixed, and they said they do not work on post-sale fixes over weekends. I rely on my car to commute to work, so I decided not to take the car to them since they are far from where I live, and I have no means of commuting to and from their garage once I drop the car off. It is cheaper for me to just get this fixed at a local garage.
3. After sensing the car had been misrepresented, I had it inspected by a professional mechanic. The front bumper had been welded - meaning the car had been in an accident (contrary to what the salesman told me) and the repair did not include a replacement of the bumper, rather a cheap fix of just welding the bumper. There was aslo signs of paint jobs. This is evidence that the dealer knew about the repair because they made a mistake of not removing the paper tape from the edges of the bumper entirely - so the paint job was recent. They lied to my face, basically.
4. Behind the bumper, there is a front panel that holds the bumper. There is an entire piece missing! It is not essential, but it is clear that they just fixed this car up to sell it for maximum profit.
Totally unreliable, unethical dealership. Do not trust a word they say. They will aslo not accomodate you if you have post-sale issues. You will be left without a car on weekdays if you need anything fixed.
Honest review from buyer
the process of buying the car was great, perfect condition car and lovely sales team. However as stated in other reviews the aftercare for this company is shocking emails are ignored unless you send sharp emails… please ensure all your questions are answered before you leave with the car as getting answers afterwards is near impossible.
Wow - recommended to anyone
Wow - I’m so happy with everything I called this morning spoke to Aleen - I was booked in a few hours later - taken on a test drive with Jon and the car was amazing I’m so happy and also Adam made the finance so easy and fast for me I was out in a 2 hours after driving and waiting for finance to pay out but again I’m so happy.
Total scammers, dodgy repairs
Picked my car up, as it was late was told all good fresh mot put on it an its been washed.. anyway took it to fuel up an low an behold wasn't even washed dirt an dust everywhere.
So the following day I had it washed which revealed a very poor paint job no rear badges on the boot. Closer look its had the boot, rear bumper, whole passenger side front bumper and front wings and bonnet. A total mess of of a paint job.
I immediately got in touch with this stealership an was told return the car an we will sort out the issues. It's a 4hr round trip for me.
Umm no thanks you should of done the job properly in the first place. An I'd rather you pay the bill at my preferred bodyshop.. sorry we can't and wont do that, we have our own bodyshop. Bodyshop, I can do a better job with a rattle can..
An the best part is they even tried to deny they have sprayed it.. luckily I took screen shots of the listing which clearly showed the rear badges on the vehicle. An they have now deleted all listings
So once I notified them of this they changed there tune. An said we will collect the car, and rectify the paint work.
Still a no from me. Im going to have it sprayed as it should of been sprayed in the first place.. a proper job. So stay well clear from these dodgers
I will be sending them the images of a proper job for there reference

Good selection of cars, and seemed to be at pretty fair prices. Service was efficient and helpful, no problems at all. Would recommend.
I had a fantastic experience buying my car
I had a fantastic experience buying my car from Quality Part X Cars in Stevenage. From the moment I arrived, all the staff were welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful—there was nothing they couldn’t assist with. A special mention goes to Chris, who helped me throughout my purchase. I was very undecided about which car to choose, but he took his time, never rushed me, and made sure I found the car that was right for me. He even went above and beyond his working hours to ensure the car was delivered so I could have it the very next day. The prices were amazing, and I’ve had my car for a few days now and absolutely love it. I’ll definitely be recommending these guys to others. Thank you so much Quality Part X - 5 stars was well deserved
Great service
Great service, the whole experience was quick and smooth. Love the car. No issues with it so far.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
Reading some of these other reviews, we got off lucky. We had some minor issues with the car after purchase which they did agree to fix. However, after a day off work and a 2 hour drive each way to and from Dunstable they told me they had fixed it. As soon as I get home and plug it in, they have not. Turns out they had just reset it without any form of investigation.
Long story short, it has taken about 3 months to get through this. They held onto the car for several weeks before telling me they couldn't fix it and needed to send it to the mains dealer a month later. Agreed to bring the car back to me and send it to a local dealer instead. Local dealer was brilliant (shout out to Unity Fiat, Leicester), fixed the problems, but now QPX are refusing to pay for half of the work.
I regret having anything to do with this place.
Mercedes c 220d coupe
The first vehicle I purchased had an underlying issue that the Quality Part X clearly did not know about, but it was creating numerous issues for me, so I decided to change the vehicle. Klaudia and Omar from after-sales have been highly supportive and have done everything possible while I was experiencing issues with the first car. When I requested a change, Omar spoke to other members of management in a timely fashion, despite it being between the Christmas and New Year period, and they agreed to facilitate the swap of the car.
Upon my second arrival, I was met by friendly staff members, and after checking out a new car, we began sorting out the paperwork. The process was seamless, and I just needed to sit back and relax. Ray (sorry if misspelt) was very effective and transparent, and resolved all the procedural steps to complete the settlement and get a new finance agreement.
I am pleased with the car.
Guys, there are customer-focused and very knowledgeable.
Giving 5 stars.
1 star is too much
1 star is too much. Our car broke down after 55 mile on m25, Merceds dealer ship diagnostics discovered 13 fault codes, to engine and drive train, what results always in limp mode, brought the car back to quality partX for repair, they had it for 9 days, just deleted the fault codes done no repairs, used the vehicle 280 miles, transporting people and goods, damage inside and outside vehicle, wheels buckled, chips in the Laqure, rubbish left in car, cigarette ash in car, neither of us smoke, these scumbags are a scandle for the motor trade and has to be stopped. We paid £32,500 and it’s not acceptable we permenantly break down with the car, our car has spent more time in the workshop and on a recovery truck than on the road. All authorities have been informed, all legal and court action in progress. If you go there and buy a car, it’s your own fault.
Really good experience
Really good experience. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Car is running and driving perfectly so far. Wasn’t pressured into buying was allowed to have time to think and consider. After care is also excellent, definitely recommend to future customers who are looking to purchase high quality cars.
