Wonderful Sailing Jackets
Bought my first X-series sailing coat and am mightily impressed. Warm, fully waterproof and above all, it actually has long enough arms - I'm 6'3 and the arms on coats never seem to fit, so well done Quba - full marks!

Just what I needed and Very happy.
Just what I needed.
Managed to grab a bargain in the sale and got some warm Autumn / Winter clothes. I spoke with customer service (Neil) about delivery times and they told me the items will be dispatched within a couple of days. Items must have shipped sooner because my items arrived very quickly.
Very happy with the service and I always like to give credit where credit is due.

We looked into your order and the item you bought. The item you ordered was a size LARGE and was 'accidentally' listed. The items that remain on the website are size SMALL and MEDIUM. This is why the hoodie is still on the website.
Giving us 1 star for this minor human error is not really a true reflection of what happened here or our company. Some chap in the warehouse put a Single size medium in the Large size option which caused the issue.
We did apologise and do so again now.
Please get in touch and see if we can sort something out.

Quick delivery, Pleasent and easy.
After visiting one of the Quba stores over the summer months I ordered a t-shirt and jacket from the online shop.
The delivery was quick and even though I'm not very technical I found the website easy to use. I ordered the wrong size Tshirt and was easily able to exchange this for the correct size.

I was in need of a sweatshirt due to…
I was in need of a sweatshirt due to some adverse weather in June 23 and found myself in Dartmouth in the Quba sales shop as they were one of the few garment shops available to go and buy something from.
My wife and I spoke to the sales assistant and advised what we were after and she pointed us in the general direction towards the back of the shop. There was a sale on, and it was not very clear as to which items were in the sale and the assistant was not Overly helpful.
Luckily, I found a suitable garment, which I like the design off, and it is a good quality, warm sweatshirt, and luckily, it was in the sale, and the garment itself I am very pleased with.
The sales assistant was not overly helpful or knowledgeable and we were the only people in the shop so she could’ve been somewhat more proactive.
I have had the garment three months and I’m very happy with it. Luckily, the garment was in the sale as the prices are quite expensive.

I have now purchased two ‘waterproof jackets’ from quba thankfully both sale ideas I must say they do not live up to expectations neither are waterproof great looking coats but do not do the job I purchased from them to do … I’m glad I didn’t pay full price will not be purchasing anything else as they do not do the job that they promise

Some of our coats and jackets are highly specialised and technical in their functionality.
Along with being very stylish, specialised and waterproof, as technical jackets, they may require 'retreating' with NIKWAX or similar if they are washed and cared for incorrectly.
This maybe what happened in your case.
Buying high end specialised nautical ready wear may require additional care.
We do sell less technical waterproof jackets also so please get in touch to see if we can assist in anyway with helping you with any future purchase advice.
I purchased a Grenchen puffer jacket…
I purchased a Grenchen puffer jacket from Quba. After a short while I noticed that all the filling on the shoulders has dropped downwards leaving the shoulders without padding. This resulted in my shoulders getting cold quickly. I told Quba via their website but had no response. I then had to email them 3 more times to get a response. I was eventually offered a refund or replacement.
I believe the jacket was badly designed and overpriced.

The jacket you refer to is one of our best selling jackets so am surprised you had any issues with it. Sometimes if the jacket gets wet then you might need to fluff up the coat again.

Beware the generous sizing!!!
Always had great quality clothing from Quba, which we've worn for years.
My wife has recently bought a skirt though, size 8, and it's huge! The model who was 5'9"was wearing a size 10 and was taller than my wife who is 5'7"so she thought she'd risk the size 8 as it would be shorter if a little tight. Definitely not tight!!!
Probably an 'old' size 14 so when you're buying remember that the clothes are generous!!!

One order hasn’t been received. They don’t answer the phone and haven’t replied to the emails I’ve sent. I also need a refund on another item.
I’ve bought quite a lot from Quba. Fortunately, I paid via PayPal so can open a dispute.
Edit: I finally got everything sorted and Quba did come back to me although it took a week. They apologised and said they were extremely short staffed, in which case they should sort that out! I like the clothes and don’t have any issue there but they desperately need to improve their customer service.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Have placed lots of large orders and clothing genuinely good. Have written to CS twice to ask about a refund and heard nothing back. Really poor for a loyal, high value customer.
