Absolute joke of company they said it was sent on Wednesday for 24 hour delivery Thursday nothing came waited in all day Thursday and Friday by Monday with no correspondence from courier or rc hobbies decided to complain they then said it wasn't picked up until Friday but with an email from the courier stating delivery Thursday someone was definitely telling a few porkies almost every email was contradicting the last one so asked for an immediate refund as tou can imagine no was the answer and without any further correspondence I decided to ask the bank to step in 10inutes on the phone and the money was back in my account all I can say is most of the items this company sells are obviously for Xmas presents for kids I git my money back but how many haven't and the kids will suffer as a result its a an absolute disgrace and I only wish I could do more to stop this happening to other innocent shoppers please don't waste your money look for reviews and use a decent company

Bought a 50cc bike from them exhaust fell in half after 30 mins of use. Contacted them told they will send another exhaust never have 6 weeks so far no exhaust please please avoid this company

Wouldn’t recommend buying anything from them I bought a 50cc quad for my daughters Christmas last year and it’s been nothing but trouble since we got it I’ve had to buy a lot of new parts for it and knowing what I know now I would just spend the little bit extra to save myself in the long run

Bought a 50 cx quad bike which only ran for about 10 minutes then cut out, after sales service is shocking trying to get a refund but they don’t want to know this has been going on for months, now had to go to trading standards who are investigating this company, do not buy from them they sell substandard goods then you cannot get your money back, stay clear shocking company

Caution! Really low quality products bought 50cc bike didn't start kept cutting out
when manage to get it started it would accelerate really fast all by it self.
Very Dangerous for kids had to get trading standards involved
Customer service is terrible would not pay for return delivery even though its known fault to them had to travel 170miles just to return the bike
Only got the refund because I paid through PayPal otherwise they will not refund or exchange

I've purchased one of their bikes for my grandsons bday. It's now day 4 and received no email about it being dispatched! Yet it states 3 to 5 days.. tried calling to find out where item is only for it to go to gift gaff voice message...Do not believe the reviews on their site . Seems like it's all made up! I'm hoping that I can now get my money back!!!

Just wish I had read the reviews before I purchased the XTD70 70 cc twice my lad rode the bike then both front forks seal's popped they just don't seem to be interested in sorting the problem out even offered to pay for a set of new fork's myself they just don't get back to you there is a word for these theives but im not allowed to use it , just be careful don't finish up like me ,I put one Star ⭐ as it only took 3days for the delivery the rest as been a nightmare.

Awful company and awful product!!
Bought 110 mini quad for son’s Xmas. Arrived a week late and two days before Xmas. Built the bike and the battery was totally flat. Phoned the company but they weren’t interested. Had to bump start from my car battery so my son could have a go!!
Next time out the carb float stuck which then flooded and poured petrol all over a hot exhaust!!!!
The list goes on and on…. Buckled back wheel, throttle fell apart, had to replace several parts of the electrical harness…
My son has used this bike three times since Xmas and I have spend around £100 and and more hours fixing it than riding it!
Their customer service is even worse than the quad too!!!

Baught the 125 pit bike faulty back wheel when asked for video sent them it said send another wheel waited a week still no wheel said they told me was sent to another customer but then lied and told me they didn't have any in stock it wasn't my wheel sent out didn't not contact me to tell me this 2 weeks later I eventually get the wheel picked up they say they would have it for 2 days it was going to a wheel specialist to get fixed I'm still waiting a month later wont answer my emails or phone calls absolute joke brand new bike sitting there with no wheel on will take matters further if I dont get the wheel back or a full refund

Absolutely appalling service. Bought two ride on monster trucks for my twins six birthday. very clearly a totally faulty design - have sent multiple pictures and videos, explained what the problem is. now can't get a response- I would strongly discourage anyone buying from this website. I will be pursuing a refund by whatever legal means possible. Truly abominable

Don’t use these guys bought a bike for my son, worked for two days then stopped. Just find out rings were gone. Sent email and phoned no sorry nothing. Now I can’t even get spare part to repair it, I’ve got one unhappy son.

AVOID this company I bought 2 50cc quads we took them out after 5 minutes of use they kept cutting out wouldn't start. Got in touch with company wich is by email as customer services is a joke.they tried to say it needed tuning or it was incorrect mixture in the tank I told them my brother is a mechanic for 35 years and that mixture is correct and is tuned in. Anyway took quads out again was fine for ten minutes of them running the exaust fell off from where it is welded on other bolts and nuts had fell of then they kept conking out again not starting. Let company no again told me they will have their mechanic phone me that it's something we're doing wrong. Took quads out again after five minutes my sons quad handles bars snapped off where it is welded on I'm thankfull that these quads are rubbish and that he wasn't moving fast or he would be extremely hurt. Asked company for a refund and they are refusing to refund please avoid this company they are very cheaply made quads that don't work and are not safe I will be contacting health and safety too

We ordered a £789.99 quad from this company, it arrived onto of a fragile parcel in the back of a courier van. The courier said she didn’t know how we were going to get it out. With 3 of us we just about managed. It came ready assembled, started it and a load of smoke poured out, the electric cables were melting!! This was a massive surprise present for my son, the company took ages to reply and ignored several messages. I then opened a case with PayPal to which the suddenly responded offering a courier to pick it up at our convenience. The courier just turned up without phoning us and two weeks on we still have no refund so I escalated the case with PayPal and have just got my money back. I’ll never order anything from them and again and I advice anyone else to avoid!!

Please don’t let them have ur money cos I will av nothing but head ache.i purchased a quad from r c hobbies and thought it’s new what could possibly go wrong the company sell the parts so I’ll be ok for future.if owt breaks & that’s all it did break !!!

I bought my 5 year old a 50cc came in a box.i built it up & took him out Christmas morning
He’d only had his helmet on 2 mins before seeing me aving trouble with it

It wouldnt start kept cutting out? I thought might be my fault ..the fuel mix ect
Wasn’t at all was the fuel tap wasn’t letting fuel down to carb

I av been on phone
Emails everything trying to get this resolved they sent me new tap that didn’t work
Kept sending parts that I didn’t need
There usless.
I ended up advertising a brandnew quad I paid £299 for £150
With loads spare parts.saying if u can fix it to eny buyer?
Cos I was fed up of pulling cord which snapped !!
I can now leave a review cos it sold
I lost out but hope u don’t who read this

I was told put on a pallet send back £70
And £70 return Bradford to there depot
If they fix it will after pay courier cost

It was pointless quad only worth £299

So just sold on gumtree
There cheap tacky imports
And they are selling them and not careing about the customers my poor son ask me dad can we get quad out !

I bought my son a quad bike for Christmas, it broke within 15mins of use, tried to contact them many times, phone is never answered, did reply to email after some chasing and basically washed their hands of it and said it was not down to them. PLEASE beware - DO NOT buy from this company, awful experience and how they are still trading is beyond me.

A mistake that I will never do again - DO NOT USE RC HOBBIES!

DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER!! This is a clearly a cowboy outfit with pretty rude, incompetent staff and selling faulty goods, blaming the customer with no idea how to deliver customer service. When I look at the reviews they are all one star, then the odd 5 stars & nothing on between, which leads me to believe they are fake reviews to keep their average up.
I purchased a quad, it arrived and as their own website states I had 30 days to check it was working, it didn’t even start and on the one occasion it did it immediately stalled and stunk of fuel so as farmers and therefore know our way around a vehicle, we recognised it was faulty and possibly not even safe. That’s when the fun started we went from ‘it’s not faulty because our ‘independent’ mechanic checked it’ before delivery, to ‘the battery is flat’ on the same call without recognising the irony in this. I then read them their own T&C’s and reminded them of the consumer rights act they seem to have no understanding or familiarity of either. So, it was apparently my fault and I had damaged it, how you assess that from 250 miles away is a mystery to me. I have been very clear, it never worked , it’s clearly a faulty product and I would like my money back, they now say I have to pay for the repair of £100, when, again being able to assess and even quote a repair cost when you can’t see the bike is pretty miraculous. So, I would avoid this company like herpes, even if their Uncle John says it great with 5 stars because you will be out of pocket the only questions by how much because the approach is a war of attrition they will either not engage or blame you and hope you’ll give up happy to lose £100.

I orderd a quad for my son and it arrived in 4 days. One of the brake levers was broken and there was scratches on the fairings. They sent me out a new brake lever and gave me a part refund for the scratches. All in all a very good experience. Would definitely recommend. Excellent company. Thank you guys

We had a small but vital piece on the RC car we bought for our grandson's 12th birthday break within 10 minutes of it being used. The kind staff at RC-Hobbies sourced the new part once I had spoken to them and now the simple repair makes the car work amazingly. It is very fast and requires good levels of skill to control.

Bought a Land Rover Defender and it arrived damaged, offered us a pathetic £30 refund - £300 machine. Then said send it back at my cost and will refund me the balance. Postage was £60.. Very disappointed with the customer service, terrible quality in dispatch and item condition on arrival. STAY AWAY!

Do not use! Brought a mini dirt bike for £220 as a Christmas present for an 8 year old! Had multiple problems with the bike that the company are aware of but all they keep saying is that parts aren’t that expensive! Tried to contact them recently to get our money back and they are not responding to any emails or answering the phone! This dirt bike is not safe at all, I am surprised that it hasn’t blown up yet!
