One of the worst companies for getting a refund back from, ordered faultylaptop via Wowcher and three weeks later and weeks after promised refund still not been refunded

Purchased from wowcher. Sent a broken laptop, pretended not to have the item back. (It was tracked at my expense) and now saying i have to wait over 2 weeks for a refund.
I'm not doing it. I will be reporting their company very soon and contacting my bank because they are fraudsters.
They should be banned.

Bought a notebook for this company as was saw huge saving from the original price as looked like new,yes you can still get bargains some times.so snapped one up.had to pay a extra almost ten quid for pnp on top. Videos of a new one advertised Not told about either looked into it to find out it's refurbished lovely pictures on wowcher of a perfect new item, within less than a hour of purchase I cancelled or tried too. Got messages about transaction details and the other things to find out they posted it later on the same day that I cancelled it being prior to finding out it was refurbished excited looking at it. That's when I sort of seen the small print refurbished as soon as I saw that emailed to to cancel it .they posted it on the same day so obviously received my email,lots of questions proof of purchase and the rest today they said it was posted,and I could refuse to take it from royal mail.question is if I refuse it where's the proof I did refuse to take it and the seller received it back.i cancelled the order within a hour of buying it.foundvout on this site that there horrible people to deal with and to get refunded from,but woucher keep working with them.no idea what to do

Biggest scam of a “company” I have ever encountered, lying about refunds, lying to customers/ other companies, ignoring emails, awful customer service, sending products/ appliances that do not work, additional hidden fees and scamming out of money. Awful.

Absolutely joke of a company.
Bought an I watch through wowcher.. advertised as grade B. First watch.. battery lasted 7hrs.. sent back for a replacement (at my cost) second watch came, 3 weeks later.. 5hr battery life.. asked for a refund.. out of my 30day warranty even though I’d had the watch for about 3 days.. had another replacement sent.. well.. it looked like it had been run over.. I can cope with a few scratches.. I expect it.. but this was an absolute joke. Clearly not a grade B and they said it was grade C.. so not providing what I purchased. Contacting my bank and trading standards. Disgusting company.

In all my years of internet shopping, this company are hands down the worst I’ve ever dealt with. Purchased an Apple Watch 17/4/25, this was delivered a week late, the wrong colour and in horrific condition so was returned the day after it arrived, they signed for it on the 9/5/25 and I am still waiting for my refund 6 weeks on! Wowcher are equally as useless and all they do is pass me back to their “trusted seller”. I never write reviews but this company are an absolute joke, to provide such a poor level of service in 2025 is inexcusable.

I bought an Acer Chromebook via Wowcher for my grandson. It was delivered sooner than expected and was packaged well. I was very happy with it apart from the adaptor cable was an American one. I tried ringing but could not get through so I emailed instead. They promptly got back to me. I had to send a picture of the cables that came with the Chromebook and within a couple of days I had received a UK adaptor. I was so pleased with it that I bought another 3 for my other grandchildren who are all very happy! I have read the other reviews but I can only speak from experience and mine was a very satisfactory one. I gave 4 instead of 5 because I couldn't get through via telephone but that is not unusual these days!

Never ever buy from this company. They have been promising to refund my money for 4 weeks but have not done so. They are a scam and their products are so old they are obsolete.Wowcher is obviously in on the scam as well. Since they are uncontactable and refuse to provide any assistance.

And I’m still waiting one month later for the refund they are not answering my emails despite sending one every day!!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Purchased Apple Watch through Wowcher. On arrival watch was dead battery so charged for a long time and would still die after 5 minutes of use. Contacted renew electronics, stated to charge for 48 hours and try again. Still the same issue after this. Asked for a refund. 3 weeks later after being told multiple times 7 days, I am still awaiting a refund. Contacted Wowcher which hasn’t been helpful either. Really hoping I get my refund.

Renew Electronics!! What a rip off. Promises to refund my £139 for a re burnished Apple Watch which I returned as it was basically scrap! Under no circumstances use this company through Wowcher as they are total con merchants. It’s impossible to get your money back despite all their promises. My advice would be stay well clear of this despicable company.

I ordered something for my son for Christmas that didnt arrive … royal mail refunded this company months ago and they are holding back my refund making excuse after excuse to not pay me!

I ordered an Apple watch from Wowcher in which Renew Electronics were the third party seller.

The advertisement showing the watch stated nothing about the watch being refurbished or even described what condition it was in.

Upon reviewing the item once delivered, I found that the watch was badly scratched (it looked like it had been thrown out of a car going full speed down the motorway). It came with no charger and was also dead, so I couldn’t check to see if the watch was working properly.

I processed a refund/return the exact same day I received the watch, and the watch was sent back via next day delivery and the delivery was confirmed to be received by Renew Electronics.

I was told that the item had been received and would take 5-7 working days for the refund to be processed. After I waited the required time, I emailed back to get an update on the refund. To which I was told that the item was being processed and the refund would follow in a further 5-7 days.

It has now been 25 days since the item was received by them, and I have still not received my refund.

Avoid buying anything from this company at all costs. I was forced to purchase a brand new watch and it has left me out of pocket, scrimping and scraping whilst waiting for the refund to come through.

I ordered an Apple Watch from Wowcher. It stated it would be good condition and it stated it was refurbished. Said there would be a few minor scratches and I thought that would be fine. I ordered it then I had to pay extra 12.99 for next day delivery for it to be sent 2 days later. Once I received the watch I was shocked. It was completely scratched all over the face and on the box it stated it was a grade C. It did NOT state this on the description before purchasing or I wouldn’t have bought it. It was supposed to be a gift for someone so I obviously couldn’t give someone a very very scratched up watch. I had to return this for next day tracked special delivery on the 7th it has now been 21 days since and the company is not stating it has been refunded to Wowcher and my Clearpay. I have had to pay for something I have not got. And their customer service is shocking. From most of these reviews I have seen it has been a month and they stilll have not been refunded. It is disgusting service and I will never order from here again and hope no one else does too.

Used these guys through Woucher. They sent the wrong notebook (ordered a 32gig, they sent 16) mistakes happen, but over a month later and the original sent back at my expense and no sign of the correct replacement.
They were going to refund my postage also... Which they have not
I have provided the details they have asked for several times...
I have asked how I raise a complaint 4 times... All ignored.
This company is very poor.

DO NOT BUY! I bought an iPhone 12 and it was old and scratched so I returned it and until now it has been a month and still NO Refund!

The refurbished chromebook i bought disconnects from the wifi like every 5 minutes. I tried everything until I gave up. If I could get a replacement would be nice as its just gathering dust.

I would not buy anything from this website, the product an Apple I watch I ordered came, the wrong clour, not only that you could hardly see the face of the watch there was that many scratches on it, when asked to return I had to pay the return postage and sadi i would be given that back, I havnt.

They received this product back on 18/02/25, after contacting them numerous times I have still not had my refund, reporting to trading standards stay well away from this company

I don't normally write trustpilot reviews but this one I HAD to write and warn others. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER. I had bought an apple watch from wowcher which sold through this vendor and the watch I received was beyond workable and extremely disappointing. The watch surface was COVERED in noticeable scratches and the watch band received was FAKE which snapped off the moment I tried to replace. Most importantly, as a "refurbished" product, I can guarantee that these watches are not truly refurbished as the battery on my watch would drain from full charge to 0% within half of hour of light use. In addition, the only delivery option was to pay £13 which is extortionate in its own right. It baffles me how this vendor can get away with selling these watches and how wowcher continue to advertise them. Reading other similar reviews just shows you how shady and disingenuous this vendor really is as its clear they are selling faulty products and advertising them as fully refurbished. It's absolutely criminal.

If you have bought an apple watch from this vendor, cancel immediately as I'm sure like 99% of reviews here that you will face similar experiences. I was hopeful reading some of the 5* reviews but upon receiving my watch, I have immediate regret purchasing.
