Professional and Concise
All necessary information was shared with me. It's always nice to have the fallback of support when required.
The message I received said the call was with Sean however I'm certain I spoke with Keiran. Either way the call was handled superbly.

Landed my first IT role
I'm on the Cyber Security pathway and am soon to take my 4th exam of 5. Robust's customer service is second to none I have to say. Aaron, Sean & Asma to name a few are always polite and helpful - very quick to respond to queries too which is very much appreciated. The biggest reason for my 5 stars though is for the career support Jake provided - he is always extremely busy yet can still make time when needed. Jake wanted to make sure I was as prepped for interviews as possible, meaning that on two occasions he made time for me outside of his usual working hours - I certainly wasn't asking/expecting him to, but I was extremely grateful of course. I will say that securing a role takes a lot of resilience, effort and commitment - Jake was wonderful at tailoring my CV and advising on how to approach searching for job titles that best suited my goals, but ultimately the responsibility and accountability lay with me - and that is completely valid. Therefore, my advice is: be prepared to give the process 100% from the get-go. Robust are brilliant for giving the tools you need to approach the job market, but they cannot do it for you. It was extremely daunting to apply and interview for tech roles with no experience, and churning out application after application with no response definitely tested my morale, but I struck lucky within a few weeks and have now secured an entry level role. Hence, many thanks to the team at Robust so far for their support and guidance - they've made a huge career change much more manageable. Looking forward to getting my 4th and 5th qualifications done over the next few months.

Lack of career support
I've read review below regarding career support and we agree 100% to the review as we are currently experiencing that same thing. My husband has a background IT back in PH and enrolled in comptia network+.
We were reassured a entry level job after the course (which he passed last June), submitted CV etc. Jake has responded quite a few times but as of now , August- still no clear path on the entry level iob.
Hoping to seek more assistance hoping to land any IT job.
Highly Recommend Robust IT – A Fantastic Start to My Cyber Security Journey
I made the decision to begin my cyber security journey with Robust IT, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. From start to finish, the support I received was exceptional. Whether it was through text, email, or a phone call to check in, the team was always there to help. Unlike some other providers I’ve read about, Robust IT didn’t just take the money and disappear. Every single person I dealt with was incredibly helpful, and no issue was ever too much trouble for them to resolve.
I enrolled in the CEH package, and I found the combination of online portal lessons and face-to-face sessions to be exactly as advertised – if not better. The resources provided were more than sufficient to help me pass all the exams.
That said, I think it’s important to highlight that the success of the lessons depends on the effort you put in. If you study hard, stay committed, and put in the work, you will pass. I’ve seen some reviews from people who seem to think watching a few videos will make them experts, but that’s simply not realistic. The lessons, where applicable, also include practical elements, which I found to be more than adequate. However, as expected, the majority of the content is theory-based. Practical experience will naturally come once you’re working in the field.
While there are too many people to thank individually, I want to give special recognition to Sharon, Sean, and Jeremy. Sharon was incredibly supportive in helping me navigate the complexities of being an ELCAS student. Sean was endlessly patient with my constant emails and texts asking for guidance, and Jeremy’s 1-2-1 sessions and classroom based CEH lessons, were instrumental in helping me achieve a high pass mark on the CEH exam. They all went above and beyond, and I’m truly grateful for their support.
The only downside I experienced was with the online exam proctoring service. Unfortunately, I encountered several issues, such as being unable to check in, being cut off mid-exam, or having the exam fail to display properly on the screen. The customer service from the proctoring company was appalling. However, to Robust IT’s credit, they stepped in and did their best to assist me, even though the issues weren’t their responsibility to fix.
Overall, I’ve already recommended Robust IT to my colleagues, and I’ll continue to use them as my course provider as I explore further qualifications. They provide high-quality content and the certifications you need to break into the industry.
They set you up for success – the rest is up to you.
Thank you, Robust IT, for an excellent experience!

New! Cyber Security training, BIG ROI
An informed decision to train with Robust IT and the ROI will be worth it! No hard sell, no BS. I was open & honest about my disability from Day 1. Liam from the Robust IT Team discussed my transferable skills, managing my own workload and a healthy work/life balance. After 5 weeks of deliberation, I’ve now started my Cyber Security journey and will keep you all posted!

From Darren & Malcolm to Sean, the whole ROBUST IT team are fantastic, i am really impressed by the rapidness of them responding back to my enquiry whether it’s from getting more material information or requesting and extension or help. This company is truly second to none & I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to study and eventually get into the field of Cyber Security.

Flexible, Supportive and Forward-Thinking - Highly Recommend
I initially signed up with Robust IT for their Ethical Hacking course, but after realising my interest had shifted towards AI Engineering, I reached out to see if a change was possible. Darren stepped in and made it happen without any fuss. His support and professionalism really stood out, he genuinely listened and took the time to help me pivot to something that aligned better with my goals.
The team’s flexibility and understanding made a huge impression on me. It’s rare to find a provider so willing to adapt to your journey. If you’re serious about learning and want people in your corner who actually care, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Robust IT.

Worst financial mistake
I signed up with Robust IT with high hopes, to support my career change into IT. What I received was profoundly disappointing and left me in financial, emotional, and mental distress.
The course material was not as advertised. The “training” was AI-voiced PowerPoint slides with minimal interaction. As a practical learner, this format was unusable for me. Later alternatives — like a tutor reading from the slides or a "click here" guided practical tour — were just as ineffective. No engagement.
Mock exams gave no feedback, just pointed to external sites. When I failed an exam, the emotional toll was huge — 1-to-1 sessions were offered, but by then I was already deeply ashamed and disengaged.
I was told I “sounded upbeat” on the phone — i was masking my mental health struggle in a call. Anyone who understands neurodivergence knows this.
I’ve since spoken to others who also feel misled, including individuals formally diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. This seems to be a wider pattern, not just a one-off.
I'm now locked into a finance agreement I never should have signed. If you're vulnerable, neurodivergent, — look elsewhere. This is one of my worst financial mistakes of my adult life.
Reply to Robust IT:
Firstly, regarding your mention of a refund — I want to make it clear that this was not a full refund. It was only a small portion, which would have still left me with more to pay. To be honest, I’m not even asking for a refund anymore. I’d gladly waive that just to end the finance agreement and walk away from a situation that has caused me a lot of distress.
As for the statement: "We were not made aware of your Autism and ADHD until a few months into the course" — this really misses the point.
Under the Equality Act 2010, you don’t need a formal diagnosis to trigger the duty to make reasonable adjustments. I clearly explained that I was struggling with things like focus, confidence, mood, and how I learn best — this should have been enough.
Also, the way you’ve phrased it makes it sound like it was somehow my fault for not disclosing everything sooner — but that’s not how it works. Neurodivergent people often mask their struggles or don’t fully realize what’s going on themselves at the time. That doesn’t make their challenges any less real or valid.
At the end of the day, I explained what I was going through.

Does not prepare you for cloud roles. 0 experience in Linux, Bash scripting, Networking fundamentals…
I want to be as fair as possible. Many of the 5 star reviews here are about how helpful and friendly the staff is, which they absolutely are, but there’s not much around actual career placements or development after completion of the courses.
Can’t speak for the other courses offered, but thoroughly disappointed with the Cloud Course which I’ve just completed.
Was a good starting point, but heavily lacked any practical experience (apart from a few labs purchased by Robust from other training providers). The course simply involved getting 4 certs (Microsoft SC-900 [even though it would make more sense to go for the AZ-900 in a cloud conext], the AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect - Associate, and finally the Microsoft Azure Administrator AZ-104, all of which can be done cheaper without going through Robust IT.
After speaking to a number of professionals working in senior IT/infrastructure roles, they all seem to agree that it is strange to be going for Azure administrator and Solutions Architect qualifications with such little experience and foudnational level knowledge of IT. Remember that your ability to pass a multiple choice exam (although difficult) is not an accurate reflection of your ability to do the job.
In addition to that, the course content offered by Robust was entirely made up of courses from other training providers (such as Tutorials Dojo).
I’ve had to rely on building my own self-led projects and filling in knowledge and experience gaps with networking and foundational IT concepts alongside my time with Robust IT. Even then I am struggling to land my first IT Support role, let alone a Cloud role.
However, my main reason for going with Robust was because I wanted career support at the end which Robust assured me of before starting my course:
Jake (career support) has initially been helpful with editing my CV and giving some good advice, however I was told multiple times that the career support team would be sending out applications on my behalf and that I’d receive updates soon, but so far I’ve had to send 2 emails chasing this up over last month and still not had anything.
I’m prepared to give benefit of the doubt as the team is likely busy and Jake does seem to be knowledgeable and is someone who wants to help, so I’m prepared to amend this review if I can get some good support in landing a first role.
Edit: Jake called me to reassure me and is planning to put a plan in place with me so we can start moving forward in terms of applications and job hunting. Thanks Jake.
Edit 2: Customer support contacted me to ask for an update. I am now in an apprentice IT role, which isn’t what was alluded to in the initial information call before joining Robust, but due to the lack of practical experience in the Robust course, I have had to accept this.
Additionally, I have joined a paid community to fill in the experience gaps and the difference in quality of content (hands-on experience and project focused rather than certs) is night and day.
It’s unfortunate I’ve had to pay for this now as it is what I was expecting when joining Robust, but I now have a much better structure and plan in place with the new community I have joined.
Recommendation to Robust: Your cloud course does not prepare candidates for the real world, especially with the competition in the market. Certs alone are not enough, and Robust needs to completely rethink and restructure their approach, as paying customers are not getting anywhere near their value. Your courses need to focus more on building a real understanding through projects and not just knowledge to pass a multiple choice exam.
The crucial tools and experience in Linux (given 80-90% of cloud servers run on this, especially AWS), Scripting, Networking, CI/CD and more are not even touched upon.
Buying cheap courses and repackaging them into something they’re not is not only unfair, but unethical, and your customers deserve better than being sold false hopes and promises.

I have to thank Sean C for the welcoming call into the course and has just made me more motivated and excited to begin my journey into Data Engineering, I have so much to learn with no experience at all but I wouldn’t have full committed to the course if it wasn’t for Emily. Thank you again Emily for encouraging me to take it and showing me all the opportunities this will open for me once I complete and get my certification. I have truly enjoyed talking with Emily and a huge thank you again🙏🏽🙏🏽
