After trying for 30 years, we have become one of the leading British companies maufacturing Ercol Replacement Cushions & Covers. We can replace most Ercol Models. In late 2021 Ercol themselves wrote to us to say that they very happy with our company rejuvenating their antique models. Very happy with my cushions!
I’m so happy with my cushions! Safefoam were a pleasure to deal with and my new cushions turned up way ahead of the suggested time. I had an Ercol 334 armchair and 205 footstool upholstered in a bright acid yellow velvet and they look amazing, the fit is perfect and the stitching quality is great. Thanks Joe and team!

5 Star. Would highly recommend.
The service is great and the team were really helpful with my fabric choice. They had lots of options to choose from, and suggested recommended fabric suppliers.
The covers and foam for my ercol sofa fit the perfectly. I didn’t have to do any awkward measurements, they knew the model and did all that hard work for me.
The delivery was easy as the tracking was provided in advance, so I knew I could be in.
I love vintage furniture and these cushions have really upscaled this sofa to be comfortable and stylish for many years to come.

Ercol sofa and armchairs
I recently inherited an Ercol sofa and two armchairs from my parents. The cushions and covers were original, very worn and not to my personal taste. Safefoam created new smart cushions with some beautiful material that I had bought 30 years ago at the Sandersons outlet in Manchester (sadly, long gone) and never been able to use. I am very pleased. And excellent customer service - Bob was persistent in finding a lost delivery (on a Sunday) and ensuring it arrived safely at my house.

Thank you Shona for your very kind comments. The two sets of cushions are the same size though one set was for the Ercol 203 the other for an Ercol 501 (very rare). We really liked your choice of Moon fabric. We're all glad that you like them.
Top choice for Ercol
I needed cushions remade for a rarer type of Ercol sofa. Safefoam were able to produce a template, and then absolutely fantastic quality cushions to match another chair. Once the template was confirmed it was a really quick turnaround time. By far the best company I’ve used for Ercol cushions.

Amazing from start to finish!
Safefoam were absolutely excellent from start to finish! I initially requested a sample swatch of the fabric to ensure that it was suitable for the cushions that we were going to order! The process was seamless, efficient and the team were so helpful in providing updates! I will look forward to using them in the again in the future!

Where do I start
Where do I start? Just before Christmas last year I ordered a seat cushion for my ercol 335 and it arrived Within days.
In the new year I ordered some fabric with the full intention of making my own cover but the months went by and so I asked Safefoam if I sent them the fabric would they make one for me, which they did absolutely brilliantly.
They are such a kind and helpful company and I fully recommend them.

Excellent service from start to finish!
I inherited an Ercol 427 easy chair from the the 1950’s, and decided to refurbish it with new slats cushions and covers. I’m so pleased I chose Safefoam as I am absolutely delighted with the end result as the chair looks like new! - I can thoroughly recommend this company, their customer service was excellent, everyone I contacted was so helpful. Really helpful company
Really helpful company. I needed a cushion for my latest Ercol desk chair. The company was recommended to me by the man who refurbished my vintage Ercol. The cushion arrived swiftly, well packaged and fits perfectly, also looks great. No hesitation in recommending this company. When you phone you are able to speak to a person and not a computer generated "bot" - excellent service.

Thank you Elizabeth for your very kind review. Your little chair is a rather rare Ercol Model 414. Made originally as a dressing table chair. In over 35 years we've done only a handful of them. Even so, there is one on our website, the picture of which taken by Mel, one of our Ercol fans who restored very many different Ercol models. The Safefoam team excelled in the provision of pew cushions for our church. Their advice and support was excellent and allowed the PCC to make fully informed decisions. Once the decision had been made, order for 21 long pews was quickly made and provided to the exact measurements requested. Delivery by third party company was without fault.
