Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care Avis 

Going to Scrivens in Broadstone is always a positive experience, the staff are very quick to offer help and professional advice, the various eye health checks are fully explained and the main test is comprehensive and reassuring. The range of frames, lens type and coatings etc is enormous and again, much help and advice is given when choosing and fitting. I am very happy to continue having my yearly check ups with them. Visited Malton Branch to select a pair of new glasses. Staff are friendly , non judgemental and understanding of personal cricumstances. Good choice of frames and no hard sell.

Amelia the optician is very thorough and puts you at your ease (which is not easy with me) as I am not comfortable with anything near my eyes.

Went for an eye test, all staff were very polite and welcoming,
I didn’t need to ask any questions as everything was explained really well.

I visited the Bilston branch of Scrivens yesterday for the first time. The staff were welcoming and professional and clearly knew there Customers/Patients, greeting people by their name as they came in and asking about different aspects of their lives. The service was professional and open, unlike a lot of healthcare professionals, the optician ensured I could see everything that was typed on the computer and answered any questions I had; there wasn't any attempt to hide information or treat it as 'professional privilege'. I shall return.

Friendly staff, everything was explained in a manner I understood

I have acute osteo arthritis and osteoporosis . The staff and the Optician himself were extremely considerate of my disability and I was treated with care and kindness. They made me feel at ease and that nothing was a problem to them.

I visited the Doncaster branch to take advantage of the half price second pair offer.I was assisted by a very helpful and courteous member of staff.

This company doesn’t make it easy for working families. Opticians on a Saturday are rare so had appointment cancelled. When we did get in me
And my son needed glasses. Kids can’t have their glasses unless an optician is in to sign them off and there wasn’t one for weeks so had a 3 week delay. Then when I picked mine up at the same time they were made completely wrong! So another delay! The staff are lovely but not being working family friendly means we won’t be back.

I was reluctant to admit I needed an eye test but I couldn’t put it off any longer. I had the option of the usual opticians but Scrivens were highly recommended, I’ll never look back. I visited the Liscard branch and had the luxury of meeting Karl and Eva, what a team! I felt comfortable and appropriately educated from the moment I walked through the door. Their expertise and professionalism has made my experience from start to finish comforting, relaxes and quite honestly, fun! Thank you!

Excelent service throughout

Back again for a spare pair of glasses and, as always, had the same excellent, friendly and professional service from the team at Scrivens, Broadstone.

I visited the Herne Bay branch today at very short notice for an eye test and was very impressed with the service. The optometrist carefully listened to my reasons for the visit which was only 8 months after a test with another optician. He explained that he would recommend a very slight change to my prescription to achieve a better balance between the eyes but this would be subtle. I gave hime 3 pairs of glasses to check and he reported that they were good and that I didn't need to buy new ones. He also recommended eye drops that might help with some of the issues I had raised with him. Altogether a very professional process and one that will ensure that I visit Scrivens again next year.

Staff very pleasant and knowledgeable

I have been receiving care from Scrivens team at Queens St Wolverhampton for 40 years and have always had a good experience. I find the staff friendly and helpful, their advice professional and responsive, and the product, specialist eye care and quality eye wear that suits me. I would never go elsewhere.

We have been using Scrivens Opticians Wolstanton for many years. On 30/09/20226 my wife and I visited the above for our annual eye test, on walking into the premises we were greeted by Julie and Holly who as always are friendly and helpful as they assisted us with choosing frames prior to our eye test.We both had our eyes tested by Karamveer Somal who was very professional, caring and patient. In conclusion we would definitely recommend this particular branch.

Fast friendly service and provided all the information I need for my new prescription glasses.
