Been members for 20 years enjoyed all…

Been members for 20 years enjoyed all our holidays at all resorts UK and Europe, recently visited Dylan Coastal Resort again, haven't been here for a few years looks amazing, still quite a lot of old staff there which was nice to see, who are always very helpful, we have already rebooked again for next summer with the family.

What a con buying 'Keys'was!

Cant believe the way this company is treating us! We are keys owners at Brunstone and are basically being forced into selling for a pittance or investing EVEN more money. We were promised holidays into our retirement and are now being told that there wont be anywhere left for us book if we don't sell or upgrade.
Several disgruntled emails have been sent to them but they are just ignoring them. Don't waste your money on them!
One star is too generous, so disappointed in what was once a good company to deal with.

Beware before parting with money

This company has various brands inc. Luxury Lodges, Seaham Hall, Seasons Keys. The marketing brochures look slick and corporate however Seasons Holidays has just 2 directors, a husband and wife team who have been accused by customers/members of unfairly removing occupation rights. This is clearly suboptimal and is being challenged by consumer rights groups. These issues have been reported on by respected journalists from the Daily Mirror, BBC Radio 4, and BBC Look North

All I would say is that if you Trust in…

All I would say is that if you Trust in where you are going to holiday, first read and inwardly digest the reviews on this page and this will definitely pilot you well away from here
How can so many negative views be expressed if there isn’t something wrong?
I myself, have experienced aspects from many of these one star statements, so subsequently endorse the many negative views from an perspective of experience
Yes, they were a good company, but now when it’s time fulfil the promises they made to many hundreds of members, they’re not delivering
How could they do this without having a conscience!!!! and treat people in this manner

One star is generous

One star is generous. This is a company that sold quality holidays, and at the outset, some two-plus decades ago, were as good as their word. However, over time, early investors have been side-lined and treated with disdain. Promises of luxury holidays have been nothing but hot air - they have been down-graded to "core" membership, and are unable to take full advantage without significant further "investment". This is a company that refuses to engage with dissent, let alone genuine queries - unanswered Emails and correspondence ignored.

I have just come back from seasons head…

I have just come back from seasons head office,
Trying to offer me a pittance for my existing core timeshare
Only to be told that most of there sites we be luxury units with no core be available?
Was told that only Ireland site be available for core use,
Now taking advice?

The biggest con

This holiday bond has the biggest mistake. The customer service line is always engaged. The resorts are poor. The exchange options are terrible. We opted for keys memberships thinking it was an investment and its the biggest con going. Do not join this holiday group.

Long term members can’t get into Dylan Resort (Laugharne Park)

Been Seasons members for many years joining at Laugharne Park, rebranded Dylan Resort when the redevelopment plans were being constantly promoted. Now find the site no longer has “CORE” accommodation so we can’t even get in there now .. have to “upgrade” to do so !!

Lack of absolute clarity

What I would like to know is what happens if they fail to sell when Club Taiti or any other resort for that matter is up for resale in 2028.
Is it absolute that everything is done by 2028 and you have nothing to do with them after this date. ?Personally, I am not getting a good feel and wonder if there is a sting in the tale. But I could be anxious about nothing. I don't know.

Keys at seasons contracts ending

We have keys at Brunsto and club Tahiti hobsons choice you could end up with nothing or even paying out to maintain and have nothing to show for it or pay out more to take weeks use them walk away with nothing else to pay out but no more holiday
It’s “ knock on effects of the past few years” feel angry etc etc
Reading the contract it seems we really have no choice
But I have to say the holidays we have had we really enjoy it’s just that the goal posts change

Seasons are ripping off their members

We were invited to a meeting in Bristol to discuss our 36 keys we have at Whitbarrow. Our first 16 years is not due to end until the end of 2028. We were advised that the resale value would be just over £3000, and that we would be deducted £341 every 6 months that it took for the rest of the 36 keys owners to sell back to Seasons. Basically it means we could end up with nothing. When I said we would take the other 16 weeks of holidays we were informed that this was no longer on the table. Apparently 2000 members were consulted about this - we weren’t, and I don’t think any of the members on here were either.
We were given an End of Term Document that he wanted us both to sign. We refused and took the sheet of paper away with us. This “document” has a tick box for roll over membership. The wording is as follows:- This involves continuing as a Seasons’ Member by exchanging your share in your lodge for a new Seasons’ 16-year product. You will not be liable for any further costs in relation to the Lodge.
We will be going over our contract thoroughly and would like to go to the BBC also, as Seasons are treating us, the members from the early days, with utter disdain.

The company are always changing the…

The company are always changing the rules. Legally bound contracts are ignored and resorts are becoming impossible to access. Glad we are on our last 2 weeks. Had good breaks in the beginning but now it's a lottery.

Recent stay at Laugharne

We have just returned from a week at Laugharne. The lodge we had was in the 'core accommodation' - a concept we were unaware of. The lodge smelt bad; there was no toilet paper; the towels were damp, and it seemed as though no one had been inside it for several weeks. To be fair, housekeeping came and tried to deal with the smell promptly.
Every time we have sat down with Seasons reps in the 20 years or so of our membership, it seems that the offer has changed and to continue with what we have enjoyed will cost us several more thousands. When we purchased our 15 keys there was no mention of different levels of membership, meaning that I would have expected to have access to whatever lodges there were.
We had booked two lodges for a week in July for a special family event. I have cancelled that booking as we would have been embarrassed to inflict that standard of accommodation on our children and grandchildren.
It seems that we will now be barred from Laugharne and probably in the near future from Clowance and Whitbarrow too. To say we are unhappy is an understatement.

I would like to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment you experienced during your recent stay.

It is regrettable that the type of membership you hold does not grant access to other accommodations within our resort.

I also apologise for the lack of toiletries and any unpleasant smells you may have encountered during your stay. I have spoken to our Housekeeping department, and I can assure you this is not our usual standard at The Dylan Coastal Resort. In way of an apology, I have forwarded a complimentary voucher of £50 to be used at your next resort location.

As your review states, you have had several engagements with our Guest Relations team in the last 20 years, so you would be familiar with the various types of memberships and accommodations we offer.

Additionally, I have taken note of your cancellation of the booking at The Dylan Coastal Resort, and I will ensure that your reservations are promptly cancelled to avoid any further confusion.

Your feedback is valuable to us, and I am sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations.

Beautiful Burn park

The resort is in a beautiful location. Close to the town centre and the lovely beaches.
The accommodation is very well equipped.

A Leisurely Break at Belton Woods

We have just spent a week at Belton Woods and the setting and accommodation were of a very high standard. We had everything we wanted for a leisurely stay. We had had an issue with booking future accommodation at one of Seasons sites but the rep.,Jack Balding, organised exactly what we wanted. He is a very personable character who provides an efficient service.

A Great Experience at Laugharne

The accommodation at Laugharne was superb. So comfortable with exceptional views. We met with Jack Balding, the Seasons Members Rep. He was very helpful explaining how our new offer could be used to our advantage and made the package we purchased personal to us. He helped to make the whole experience a pleasure.
