StairFurb Avis

I wanted something to make my hallway look cleaner, fresher and more modern, I purchased the glass and steel kit from Stairfurb. I can honestly say it’s been a pleasure to do this project. From ordering through to the finished project it has been fantastic. Ordering was easy and the option to have a video call for measuring up gave the confidence I needed to ensure measurements were done correctly, deliver was as planned, all items present and no damage or issues. Removing the old balustrade was straightforward and fitting the new was so easy due to everything being pre cut, manufactured and it was all just so smooth, the support offered via email, chat, what’s app etc whenever you need it is brilliant, the finished project is everything i wanted. Thanks Stairfurb!

Excellent service and workmanship with your product and customer service and a big thank you.

Great customer service from start to finish and delivery was on time in the scheduled time slot. The fitting guidelines were easy to follow and the finished product looks amazing and totally transforms our staircase ☺️

A very straight forward DIY refurbishment of our 1930’s stairs, the items delivered are of the highest quality and the installation instructions are easy to follow. The support team are very helpful if your not too sure of the process.
We now have a very contemporary hall stairs and landing areas.

For anyone unsure about upgrading their stair rail’s & balustrade do it! Stairfurb helped us throughout the process , they were even available for a video call to help with the measurements. All of the products are of a very high standard (wood& glass in my case) I’m so pleased !

We purchased our Stairfurb a few weeks ago and it was delivered ahead of the expected time. Delivery was expected with plenty of communication.
We went for the oak with black spindles, parts are high quality. We fitted into existing newel posts, our existing stairs were over 100 years old so it wasn’t as simple as screw and done but they look fantastic.
Thanks Stairsfurb!

Stairfurb was amazing, they held our hands via online video through the measuring and ordering process, and lots of detailed fitting instructions made the fitting very easy. The bannister set has totally transformed our hallway.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Superb quality, fast delivery and fab customer care

Really pain free, excellent craftsmanship very pleased with the finished product at a affordable price

Where to begin. The concept is good. But make no mistake this is not an any man DIY. The measuring part has to be perfect. It’s a lot of responsibility for amateurs who don’t know what they’re doing to be responsible for measuring. Even though I measured, checked double triple quadruple and then had 5 other people also check, the measurements were wrong, luckily I’m a professional DIY ER , so I could bastardise it to fit. The instructions seem simple but they’re not in practice, you need a 40mm drill head, which no where except the internet sells, so make sure you order that before it arrives. you also need a decent saw and sander. Because cutting the other banister straight for anyone other than a professional is near impossible.

What I’m trying to say is, do not order this thinking anyone can erect it. You need to be a competent builder. I started to film my process for the £200 vouchers, but I had so many issues with the posts being too long, glass being too short, saws now working, drill bit not drilling straight that I ended up scrapping it. Because frankly anyone watching my DIY video would never buy this kit. The finished piece is mediocre. Looks DIY. But can’t blame the company for that.

Just be aware that it may be worth spending more on a fitter if you want a finished product that resembles the pictures.

Just to be clear Stairfurb products are good. They’re high quality and I can’t complain at that, 5* rating on the product. 3* rating is on the installation process, and the DIY premise. I would 100% get a fitter if you’re not a competent carpenter.

Brilliant service from start to finish totally changed my staircase great company

It was a pleasure dealing with this company. The customer service was very pleasant and were prompt to respond. My reason for 3 stars was that the online detailing system did not work well for me. I received a landing section of parts which did not relate to the existing design and had to be significantly reworked. This despite sending photographs. Nevertheless the parts produced were good quality and well crafted - just wrong! I took responsibility for this and didn't try to get the correct parts - I just reworked them. The result is excellent. If there is a next time I'll just order parts - not online kits.
