Avoid with the plague
Avoid with the plague. Zero stars if I could and after reading other people's recent complaints it must be something the company does. So I only have 2 more payments left of my contract and i have defaulted by £235 and they have issued repossession of the car. Due to accident I cut open my hand and been unable to work. Im a beautician so due to the injury no work at all. After contact I was offered no help at all and told if payment not made they are taking it back. I have £750 left of just over £17000 i have defaulted by £235 im then told any other outstanding money accumulated would have to be paid after the car is repossessed. Which im sure if the car is reposessed 66 plate Mercedes with only £750 outstanding you would be earning from the sale of the car. Instead ive had charges after charges of late fees instead of helping me after 5 years of consistent payments and due to injury which I proved I had no payments from work even allowing them to access my bank accounts to prove this. After receiving near full payment then repossession the car which my car is currently worth £5800 they would earn a total of £22000 not including the additional charges they have had already. They are not helpful at all. They do not take in account your situation at all i proved no income and asked if they could lower the last payments due to no income which was refused. Absolutely disgusted after they car is basically paid for. I've ended up borrowing the money from my Mum and paying the contract a month early as it was playing with my mental health as im due to go back to work next week and as a mobile beautician. I need my car for work. But I would not recommend this company whatsoever. All other credit companies were fine with the situation many freezing the accounts for 60 days to help get over my injury. But this company no help and seemed like a money making scheme. Repossess a car thats basically paid for. We can't predict an injury and unable to work 5 years after signing a contract. Absolutely disgusting.
