It was very quick and the people I dealt with were very helpful

Total waste of time. I sent every form requested, completed everything correctly, and signed all the paperwork. I even contacted the garage to arrange collection and informed my insurance company that everything was approved and going ahead.

Then, the day before I was due to collect the car, they suddenly pulled the offer with no proper warning or explanation. I have never felt so embarrassed or humiliated after making arrangements based on their approval.

The whole experience was extremely disappointing and showed a complete lack of professionalism. Companies involved in these deals should carry out proper due diligence before putting customers through situations like this.

Special thanks to Zuto for their lack of professionalism as well — even days after the deal collapsed, I was still receiving reminders telling me to complete forms I had already submitted.

Based on my personal experience, I would advise caution when dealing with Startline Motor Finance. I have experienced significant issues with how my complaint and vehicle-related dispute have been handled, particularly around communication, liability decisions, and support during an ongoing mechanical issue with my financed vehicle.

Despite raising concerns early and providing supporting evidence, I felt that responsibility was repeatedly directed elsewhere and that the resolution process lacked clear support or practical assistance while the issue remained ongoing. This has resulted in ongoing financial pressure, including payments for a vehicle that has not been fully usable for a prolonged period.

While I understand that independent engineering reports are used in decision-making, I did not feel that my circumstances and supporting evidence were fully reflected in the outcome of my case.

There are alternative finance providers who may offer clearer communication and stronger customer support during disputes, especially when serious mechanical issues arise shortly after purchase. (Literally less than a month)

I am now escalating my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Everything was quick and easy , no hassle just straight through. Was only at the dealership 15 minutes before driving away in my new car. Highly recommended

The finance side of the vehicle purchase process was straightforward and completed without issues. Everything was arranged smoothly through the dealership and the approval process was quick.

So we went back and forth with this finance company for 5 days for the finance to be accepted then at the last minute they ask us to pay £16,000 to settle a existing finance..to take finance with them. For a £15,000 car what kind of logic is this. And when speaking to them on the phone they refused to speak to the customer and said they would only deal with the broker..whattttt! Worst experience we’ve ever had. 5 days of back and forth for absolutely nothing. Terrible terrible company. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!! 😡

Startline are really approachable friendly and got me from application to driving my new car in less than 4 days and that was waiting for the garage to prosses the car will definitely use these guys again in the future
