It really wasa trip of a lifetime!
Steppes thought of everything. We had somebody to hold our hand all the way- Both for travel and the trip itself. A special mention to Chris who managed to courier my glasses to the airport before we boarded, when I had left them at the hotel.
They even arranged an early evening drinks and nibbles at the QE Park looking at the sunset for our 40th wedding anniversary

This was our first trip with Steppes Trade and we will definitely be using them again. From starting to organise our thoughts to arriving home, everything was taken care of professionally and carefully. The App provided for use whilst we were away was excellent, and Claire was easily contactable and responsive to any queries and questions. Her expert and in depth knowledge meant that our holiday was arranged around our personal tastes and interests, and all of the organisation at our destination was great. Great tour guides, accommodation and logistics. Excellent all round!

Just brilliant our driver/tour guide was always on time full of knowledge and non intrusive no rush plus we got to see a lot. the enthusiasm & knowledge of all our guides was so fantastic to listen and be a part of it all was fabulous

Everything worked well in a very unusual destination. Our guide was always there and very knowledgeable about his country. He could have perhaps allowed a bit more time for questions.

Fantastic trip to Uzbekistan. The expert guide was superb and the local guides were excellent. We learnt so much, were looked after so well and the whole experience was very memorable.

Travelling part of the Silk Road is already an extraordinary adventure but Steppes raised the experience to another level. The itinerary was well designed and easily flexed to maximise opportunities. The local guide was very helpful and the Tour Leader, who was relaxed, accommodating and a pleasure to talk to, had complete command of the history culture, politics and religions of the region and beyond covering at least 2,000 years... We will definitely be travelling with Steppes again.

From our original enquiry to the final hotel everything was planned to perfection, making what sounded a tiring schedule a brilliant experience and we would recommend Steppes to anyone.

Planning the trip to India was much better with Steppes than doing it on the phone with an alternative company.

When hitches occurred in India over language difficulties with my driver, the action from Cirencester and from Delhi was immediate and very helpful.

The suggested hotels and retreats were first class and truly memorable.

I would use Steppes again in any long distance travel plans

We had a wonderful family holiday to Costa Rica, organised by Steppes. We had excellent advice on the options for our trip, and the organisation was perfect. Everything ran like clockwork.

Organisation of the whole trip was excellent no nonsense transfers all very efficient and on time with polite drivers and nothing was too much trouble. All accommodation was excellent well appointed rooms and geographically perfectly placed.

The team from Steppes and partners in India made this "safari" to a rather far-flung location, Ladakh, wholly seamless! Domestic travel; the accommodations and meals; and most importantly, the drivers, spotters, and guides were all truly excellent. While there any never be any guarantees of what one will see and whether the weather will cooperate - this trip was full of outstanding sightings of snow leopards, eurasian lynx, ibex, urial, baral, foxes, tibetan wolves, lammergeiers, and golden eagles. Just be prepared for the altitude (12,000-14,000 feet) and the cold (consistently well below freezing)!
