Love our new blind it’s perfect
Love our new blind it’s perfect and just what we hoped for. The customer service is so good too always responded quickly to my questions. Very happy and would highly recommend the company. I highly recommend the sliding dual blind that has a fly screen incorporated in it. Slide one way for an almost complete black out (perfect) then slide the other way to have a full fly screen with no chance of anything getting in to the house from the window. Very happy customer as you can tell

We’re surprised by your feedback, as you initially mentioned following our advice but still had some difficulty, particularly with the kitchen blinds due to their position above the sink.
Our fitter came back out to inspect the installation and found the issue was due to operation. He guided you on the correct use, siliconed the cords for smoother movement, and we believed everything was resolved with no further issues raised.
The kitchen blinds comply with child safety regulations, which is a legal requirement beyond our control.

Brad
Brad, one of the company's fitters, provided an outstanding service despite facing several problems. One of our blackout blinds arrived damaged and when it was replaced it wouldn't fit, the measurements were wrong, the makers fault.
On his fifth visit, Brad found the replacement blind had a wrong part and drove back to his office to find the right part and returned to finish the job.
And this was on a Saturday afternoon!
If only all companies had staff like Brad.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. Nice showroom in Byfleet, Emily was extremely knowledgable and gave us very good advice which we had not considered, quotation and confirmation given on the spot. The pricing and quality of the product was value for money, with no pressure sales techniques.
Followed by a full survey to measure by Ian, very thorough. Completed installation by Gary who did an excellent job in all aspects of the fitting. Great service, products, at a value for money price. Highly recommend and will be using Surrey Blinds again when required. Thank you.

Love the blinds! Customer service was great. Didn’t feel rushed to make a decision & staff went through options. Blinds were fitted 2 days before Xmas. Appear good quality blinds & installed quickly & tidily.

Poor customer service
My father had some blinds installed in November 2022. They came with a 3 year warranty. Back in early September he got in touch with the team to explain how the mechanism for opening and closing the blinds has become faulty through no fault of his own. Since then he has tried to contact them on several occasions via phone and email and he is getting little to no response other than to blame him for the failure and try and charge him for the repair even though they had over a year left on their warranty at time of initial contact. The level of service has been little to none and on that basis I would not recommend this company to anyone. He is still awaiting a satisfactory resolution to this problem.

Very Good Experience
The whole experience was good. We had good service and advice at purchasing. Although the delivery was long we did place the order during he Summer holidays and did benefit form reductions. The engineers who came to fit the blinds were very professional and explained what they were doing. The did and very thorough quality check of the ]installation found some minor faults which were reported and corrected very quickly
We would highly recommend Surrey blinds for theirr service and attention

Initially, everything went smoothly with Surrey Blinds and Shutters, but when I encountered an issue with one of the shutters, their after-sales support and warranty service were disappointing. Rather than addressing the problem, they seemed more focused on assigning blame than helping the customer. I was considering recommending them to friends, but after this experience, I wouldn't take the chance.

However, as communicated during our discussions, the warranty does not extend to damage resulting from excessive force or unintended use. In your case, the damage reported was consistent with such use, which falls outside the coverage terms.

We went to the Wokingham showroom earlier on in the year to have a look at the range of blinds saw Vicky who went through everything with us she was very kind helpful and professional she arranged for someone to come over and do all the measurements for our blinds .One of the reasons that we placed the order with yourselves was that you use your own fitters and do not sub contract it out to other companies. In March Darren came to us us again he was very kind polite and professional he also had samples for us to look through which was very helpful. We went on to place an order for the Maggie vertical blinds in Ochre and Scarlett. Last week Brad came to us to fit the blinds again he was kind polite and professional and was able to answer any questions that I had. We would highly recommend surrey blinds and shutters. Would again like to stress how amazing Vicky, Darren, and Brad were from start to finish and there knowledge and expertise is outstanding. Am recommending Berkshire blinds and shutters as much as I can. Thank you so much. Janet
