Swiftqueue Avis 

Very few appointments appear to be available. You basically have to spend ages clicking refresh and hope that an appointment appears. Then you have to scramble like mad to try and book it before it disappears. The previous online system; Sangix, was much easier to use, but that is no longer available for the hospital I selected. And so was the the telephone system, also, no longer available.

Have used swiftqueue many times without any problem
Now I log in with same details it states incorrect
Use forgot password and enter a new password which is accepted
Log in using new password STATES DETAILS INCORRECT
Have tried 3or 4 times all fails
Reset password AGAIN
STILL FAILS TO LOGIN
Site is now useless
So will clog up the phone to book
USELESS

Appalling site, so user unfriendly & I'm fairly computer literate

I was sent a link to book an X-ray but I could not book because when I went through the link it said I did not have a referral. The system is very difficult to use and the website is clearly not fit for purpose. The NHS should not use this system. I have cancelled my account with swift queue as I did not ask for it in the first place. I know other people who find it impossible to use too.

Absolutely useless to book if you need a blood test within a month.
Not being able to book a test for at least a month before a hospital appointment (the date of which is sometimes known only days before) is unacceptable.

I have two appointments made for me by the Macmillan nurses, but they have since changed my Chemo cycle so I don't need the blood tests at that time. However, because those appointments were made on my behalf, they are not on my login. No way of emailing or contacting Swiftqueue myself. So therefore cannot cancel them without getting the Macmillan nurses to do it for me - surely they have better things to do? We need to stop spending money on technology that does not help build efficiency and cost saving into the NHS. When are we going to learn and stop wasting money?

The system is useless. 12 years old could create a better one. I wonder how much it cost to taxpayers? As for UK resident I am unable to add my mobile phone. The only codes are + and 3 starting with 8…. After some frustration managed to create an account, but no further. There seems to be no results for any hospital in my area.. ridiculous. Now I am worried about my personal data. Surely such a rubbish system cannot be robust to cyber crime.

I went to my surgery's website to book a blood test appointment, but the link to Swiftqueue came up giving me appointments for a different area of London and not where I live! I also have a further problem - my husband's name is recognised for blood tests on Swiftqueue, but under my email address and not his own. Therefore, I cannot get into the NHS site to check my blood test results. We both need to book our blood test appointments under our own email addresses.

I was trying to log in to my account, stated wrong details entered when l know they were correct, after a few more attempts l finally got in, you then sent a six digit code to my phone of which l entered you then state to get a pass- key or something similar, why is swiftqueue adopting third degree tactics? l also experience being connected to the Irish section from time to time when l live in England?, it’s so frustrating. The worst booking app ever invented its so flakey , itbumps you out and back to the start looking for appointment then its giving a date weeks after database said there were multiple times available on a much earlier date just prior to the systrm dropping you out , the MOST frustrating app to do with health , its a danger for my Blood pressure , why do we accept this rubbish IT system that we tax paysrs will have most likely paid tru the nose for , more examples of second rate services sold to our health service ..... its rubbish and should be updated with a better app ......

Great in theory, but can't cope with the NHS' failings. When it works this is great, turn up, blood test done on time, out in 5 mins. Much better than the old take a ticket and wait for an hour system. Twice now though I've had bookings cancelled the evening before or the day itself. I'll learn not to book for Fridays or Mondays as nurses obviously enjoy long weekends. The next available appointment is then a month away. If the NHS clamped down on the vast amount of sick leave their staff take it would work much better.

An insanely technical solution to a non problem.

Before turn up get a queuing ticket and wait, now book remotely or turn up and book on your phone by visiting NHS login and some tortuous pages, given a choice of venues, successfully booking the one you are at, then wait. What are non technical people meant to do? Is the problem too many people are getting blood tests? Or is it we are not employing enough administrators, let's employ someone to administer this?

Can’t get an appointment inside a month in advance! Surely most appointments are within a few days.
Why not extend the number of shorter term bookings?
The old deli ticket system worked better!

Swift is a DISGRACE and grossly INCOMPETENT. Swift changed the time of my appointment with Hemel Hempstead Hospital 4 minutes before it was due, after a 3 week wait. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

I can’t even book a child’s blood test appointment near me have to travel 20km how corrupt!

If I could score them 0, I would.
My husband booked a blood test - had 2 text reminders of his upcoming appointment from Swiftqueue - drove 6 miles each way for blood test on the appointed day - arrived at the hospital in good time for his appointment only to find it had no record of his appointment on the Swiftqueue system & refused to do the blood test. What a waste of time, money & energy.

So, It has taken me so much time to try to book a simple blood test on this ridiculous site! Too much kept going wrong, including the site crashing to explain. Is this a Streeting idea to improve the NHS? What a complete joke, what was wrong with going along and taking a ticket?? It has worked for years, now we have to get stressed to hell just to get a blood test, its easier to not bother and lay down and die!!!!! This is country is in the gutter, I wouldn't mind, but for most of us this is NOT free, we have paid for out healthcare all through years of work, but this is the only organisation that gets away with charging you and not giving you the service you have paid for!!! A plumber wouldn't get away with it, neither anyone else, why are these idiots that are supposed to be running the country so incompetent. Maybe is a sister software of Fujitsu!
