I was telephoned at 2 weekly intervals…
I was telephoned at 2 weekly intervals and asked questions relevant to the trial I was completing, at these times I was reminded of the requirements of the trial and what I was responsible for. This made me feel that the trial was very important and that i was important to the success of the project.
I was required to attend Synexus regularly and I received regular medical to make sure there were no Problems or side effects from the injections I had received.

I have been well looked after by the…
I have been well looked after by the doctors and nurses, everything has been explained to me, the only reason that I did not give five stars is to do with expenses, this can take three to four weeks to come through,at the beginning of the trial I was asked to go and get my eyes checked, a taxi was provided to take me there and back, I had drops put into my eyes which nipped and blurred my vision, despite this there were no expenses, the expenses are supposed to be for inconvenience, I would say having to go and get stinging drops in your eyes would come under this, I have had two prescriptions for anti nausea medication, these are private prescriptions, the first was for £31 pounds and the second for £81, it's a lot of money to put out and although you do get this back it is some weeks later.

We make every effort to ensure that participants are not inconvenienced and that they have a positive experience with us. This includes arranging transport etc. but also reimbursing expenses.
