Excellent service. I ordered a wash basin on Monday morning before I went to work. It was delivered on Tuesday morning. Added bonus was free delivery and best price for the item I wanted.

Exchange refused on damaged £95 Burlington Toilet Seat
We received a damaged £95 Burlington toilet seat and because we were on holiday when it was delivered and couldn’t check it within their timeframe they refused to exchange it. The integrity of the toilet seat is compromised so we are literally flushing £95 down the toilet because it cannot be used. Our entire order value was £400+ but there was no goodwill whatsoever. Go to a reputable dealer and do no use this company would be my advice.

Sorry for your experience, but damages need to be reported within a reasonable period of time. To avoid such situations, we reiterate this online, by emails as well as by text message. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a replacement in this instance since the goods have been on site for a month before reporting the issue.
In all fairness, most reputable online retailers use insured delivery services, but the couriers are unable to accept liability for deliveries completed a while ago.

Shower. Tempest grohe concealed shower. Arrived on time. Good quality and price. No problems. Never had any problems with taps empire on price and delivery

Aquadart 3 sided shower enclosure
Three sided shower enclosure ordered, one door delivered 6th April, the remaining panels on 1st June! Missed installation date from contractor and now will not except back as 20 days have passed from "completion of your order".... what about the 57 days I had to wait. I only wanted to exchange for the same item but slightly smaller and offered to cover the delivery costs. Will go elsewhere for the replacement and future projects.

Grohe compression MI, check the part and packaging
I ordered the Grohe compression MI coupling 46914. It doesn't come in the boxed packaging as advertised on their site. Instead I recieved it in a plastic bag and nor does it have the same hallmark that it was initially advertised on the website. I was told that Faucet is the Grohe supplier and its a genuine part. However, I ordered the same part from another website which came in the original packaging, the quality, the hallmark, the olive and the length of the compression is different too which falls in line with a grohe product.
I have since received a refund from Taps Empire as it wasn't Grohe part.

We ordered a large quantity from Grohe, but were unexpectedly supplied a bulk pack rather than multiple individual blister packs. Unfortunately, our warehouse team missed this while processing your order, so you did not receive the individual pack as shown on our website. We have refunded your order, and have also made arrangements to obtain replacement stock from Grohe in the correct blister packaging as shown online.

Beware the returns period
Beware the returns period - 14 days which is not adequate for something like building supplies where there can often be a delay before installation. I ordered a cistern and my bathroom work took longer than expected - by the time the plumber discovered that it was the wrong type, it was too late to return it. You'd imagine they could have waived the usual rule given that I wanted to exchange it for another product from them, rather than refund it, but customer services gave me a very unhelpful 'computer says no' response.
