Improve stock control
Only sent battery for item that was found to be out of stock. Not showing out of stock online.
Apologised for inconvenience. Mistakes happen.

Hi Maggie
Thank you for your review. Stock on our website is controlled by direct feeds from our distributors' warehouse systems so should have been correct at the time of ordering.
We are sorry that only the battery was despatched when the machine and charger must have literally just gone out of stock. We are looking into how this has occurred to prevent it happening again, as all components of the trimmer should have all been packaged as a kit in one box.
In the meantime, we would very much appreciate your assistance in getting the unwanted battery collected via your support ticket.
Thank you.

What’s going on here?
I ordered a product described on the website as stainless steel, but they delivered the painted mild steel version. When I brought it to their attention I was told (by an anonymous responder) that they had delivered what I ordered, and there was a link to another version that WAS in stainless steel, but at a much higher price. When I placed the order I had kept a screenshot showing the description as stainless steel, but when I went back to look again someone had already deleted those words from the product description.
To be fair they did offer to collect the (incorrect) item they’d sent, but not to deliver the stainless steel one that I wanted, so I requested that they do that.
I then had a response from “Brian” telling me that they couldn’t do that because the manufacturers don’t make it in stainless steel. I replied with the link I’d previously been sent that showed the stainless was indeed made, and stocked by Green Reaper.
No further response.
I’ve purchased from this firm before and been pleased with their service. I don’t know why they seem to be playing games now.

Hello Michael
Thank you for your detailed review.
It would appear that there was unfortunately an error on our website in the specification of The Handy fertiliser spreader you purchased from us which incorrectly stated the chassis was stainless steel. This incorrect specification seems to have crept in when we migrated The Green Reaper to a new e-commerce platform. We appreciate you highlighting this to us and the specification was immediately corrected on our website by our content manager to the chassis being painted steel.
The more expensive stainless steel spreader you refer to is a salt spreader, and it is out of stock with both us and The Handy so we would be unable to fulfill an order for that model.
I understand a collection has now been arranged for a full refund.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused on this occasion.
Kind regards
Nicki
