Let me start by saying this review is 100% honest and truthful and have all the emails to back myself up which I shall publish if a generic reply is left by the company trying to say it’s not true.
I have been insured with think insurance with a Motortrade policy for over 10 years, initially great price, decent enough service whenever I’ve needed anything which is pretty much never. Every year the renewal comes back and you have to ring up to get it cheaper which is annoying but seems majority of insurance companies do this hoping people don’t question things.
This last year I needed them on 2 occasions, failed both times to be helpful in anyway.
The latest one being dvla sending me a fine for my car not being on the instance database. I emailed Matt from think insurance the details of 2 cars to add to my policy, I have a reply from Matt saying ‘all done’ however he only added 1 car and obviously forgot the other, I called up sent the email proof and the lady went away and said yes can clearly see it’s a admin error- it cannot be anymore obvious. So agreed send the fine in and they will sort it. Now ‘Maisy’ took over to get involved, needed all the information again even though they’ve got it, then has to refer it to the insurer? As I said it’s nothing to do with the insurer it’s THINK INSURANCE THE BROKER WHO HASNT DONE THERE JOB. Anything they can do to not pay the £50 fine, requesting proof of ownership now, if I didn’t own it I wouldn’t be kicking off I had a fine would I!!! Anyway my time is worth more than £50 for there game playing. As someone in customer service management I am fully aware that if you’re so obviously wrong you say sorry and sort the problem out as truthful 1 star reviews harm your business. On this occasion you’ve earned a 1 star reviews, I havnt renewed with you and will share my experience with other people who I’ve recommended to you who currently use you so for a £50 fine that you are so obviously liable for as you made a admin mistake, I hope it costs you ten times the amount! So people they may seem a reasonable price( I got cheaper elsewhere ) but as soon as a problem occurs they make it hard work to get a simple thing sorted. I wouldn’t use or recommend again

The staff at this place are very friendly dealing with their customers during my visit, they their professionalism during my visit. I was greeted by Darcy and Steve. I have being a customer of West Bromwich Insurance Group for a number of decades, in the past Debbie has been dealing with most household insurance, even she had time to come round Just to say hi.

Ref Insurance Renewal.
Think Ins. contacted me 1month prior to renewal date,
advised new premium rate for next 12 months, which gave me time to compare & look at other quotes.
Darcy from Think Ins. again called 2weeks later to see if I was going to renew policy, which I confirmed.
I requested a call from Darcy 4 days before renewal date so we could go over the new insurance proposal& arrange documents & payment.
After speaking with the lovely Darcy, she managed to get me a further reduction in the premium, due to the value of the vehicle being considerably lower than the previous 2 years, which was a nice pleasant surprise!
I`d like to thank Darcy for her assistance, pleasant manner, & professionalism with arranging my renewal, & would recommend Think insurance to anyone for insurance. the experience was easy, pleasant & rewarding to myself, Well done Darcy your a credit to your employers !!!!

I’m 75 so struggle a little with smart phones etc, the call handler Steve was fantastic patient and very helpful.
