Order dose not arrive!

was told item was in stock so ordered, then it did not arrive found order was canceled by the sales person ( no longer employed?) so re orded as i was told definitely next day AM delivery, 2 days later still not delivery will not be using again. update i have been offered £20 off the total order for the troubles.

I purchased a hammer tacker from this company for my roofing projects and I’ve got to say it’s the best one I have ever used really good quality. I would highly recommend this company

Defective item recieved, returns difficult to action.

Defective item recieved, seller wanted item returned to manufacturer for inspection before any action by them, had to remind them of UK consumer law. Much time wasting by them, finally got a return label from them,was not easy as they did not want to pay return postage. After chasing, had confirmation from them that item received. Still no refund, they now saying it's with the accounts dept. All delaying tactics and no regard for UK consumer law.
Initial defective item recieved 4th Feb still no refund as of 26 Feb.
A suppliers credibility can only be measured when something goes wrong and how they deal with it.
In this instance, their complete reluctance to follow UK consumer law say's a lot about this company.
I have had to constantly email them to get them to action this, and have been met with delaying tactics. I have had to remind them of consumer law to get them to action this.
I suspect that they do not carry stock of some or all of the items they advertise, and merely dropship from other suplliers or manufacturers, hence the reluctance to action a return.
The item I recieved had a defective battery, they advertise said batteries as available separately on their website, the easy option would have been to send out a replacement battery and collect the defective one for return, and I would have been impressed with the customer service and used them again.
But no, you have to jump through hoops to get any action completed by them and I as a consumer have to explain UK consumer law to them. Never again.

Absolutely outrageous company ordered…

Absolutely outrageous company ordered months ago and still nothing emailed regarding this was told theybweee out of stock but would be kept informed not shy in taking payment but very shy in communication about this terrible customer service and customer support

Faulty Item and Ongoing Delays with No Meaningful Resolution

I placed an order on 28 December 2025. The goods were delivered late on 16 January 2026, and one of the two workbenches supplied was faulty. The faulty item was returned as requested.
I was then informed that the replacement workbench was out of stock with no confirmed delivery date. Since 18 February, I have sent multiple emails requesting an update and clarification regarding compensation for the delays. As of 24 February 2026, I have received no substantive written response and no meaningful resolution.
It has now been nearly two months since the order was placed, and I remain without a replacement for the faulty workbench or any confirmed delivery date. This has caused ongoing disruption to our project schedule and related arrangements.
Based on this experience, I would not purchase from ToolChimp again.

The Einhell drill driver I purchased…

The Einhell drill driver I purchased the charger was not working and the box the drill was in was like it had been kicked about the floor for about a month or more, yet the external of the parcel was in good condition when delivered , so it was sent from toolchimp like that

No trowels no refund

I have ordered trowels from the website. After more than a week I checked on the delivery to find out that they can't deliver 3 out of 4 trowels. I asked for full refund as I lost a job that this tolls were for. Now I also haven't been refunded yet.
Company doesn't respond to the emails.

Great price, fast delivery

Bought an einhell impact drill with 2 batteries, and price seemed too good to be true. Was also very sceptical after reading some reviews, but thought if I pay by PayPal, then at least I'm reasonably well protected.

Ordered on the Saturday, dispatched on Monday and arrived on Tuesday. Drill and batteries are working great 👍. Super chuffed!

Obviously I haven't had to deal with customer services for anything, but for me personally, this is a win. I hate having to deal with any customer services, because it just takes up time that I could spend using my tools 😁

Keep up the great work, tool chimp!

Absolutely useless

Spoke to Brad, really helpful and processed my order of 8 pony Jorgensen clamps on the 28th of January expecting to use them for a project that weekend if the delivery came on time or the next weekend worst case. 30th of January emailed for an update Brad and he told me he'd get back to me but he never did. 2nd February emailed him again, this time no reply. I called for an update on the 3rd and was told they were waiting for stock to arrive and it was expected on Wednesday 7th latest Thursday the 8th and I'd receive an email soon as they'd been dispatched and they should be with me by Wednesday 18th the latest.
By now you can guess what happened.
I called back on Friday the 13th and they explicitly told me they'd received an order from the supplier and the clamps should be in there and I will definitely have them by Monday the 16th.
Today is Monday the 16th of February and I received no updates about my order. Called in and they told me the same thing they did on the 5th "we've got 4 clamps in stock and we're waiting for stock from the supplier which should arrive on the 27th. If you like we can send you the 4 now and the rest when they arrive."

After zero communication? After giving promise after promise? After lying that you'd received stock? No thanks mate, order cancelled. Appalling customer service.
