I dropped off the car at 8.00am, for the annual full service and the first MOT Test. As car is now 3 Years old).
I received video link to show the various checks and stages of the service being carried out.
I was contacted at around 12.15 to say it had all been completed and that the car was now being cleaned, ready for pick-up at around 13.00pm.
I was very pleased with the overall service at Toomey Dacia at Southend-on-Sea and I am happy to give it a 5 star rating.

Regular updates on the progress of the service. Changed the batteries of my car fobs on request without any issues

I had concerns about how my car was driving and Liam and Dan listening gave feedback on what they thought it could be and explained everything so that I knew what was going on and as always was really helpful. A true credit to the team there

Liam and Robin were super professional and helpful, my car was cleaned very well and when I picked up my car I asked to speak to the technician who worked on my car and he was very informative, thank you toomey for the great service.

John was brilliant and the service mechanic worked through his lunch to get the job done.
I am editing my review because, during my service I was advised by Toomey service that my car would need brake pads and discs, apparently the pads were at 3mm and one of the discs was slightly lipped! And they quoted me over £380. Yet! Today 03/03/26 my car was MOT’d by a different service centre, they told me my pads were 4mm and there was no lip on the disc’s. So obviously Toomey service we’re trying to rip me off and told me I needed work done sooner than I actually did!. So for my brake pads to now be 4mm three months later, they must have been more than 3mm when I had the car serviced with Toomey.
I won’t trust what they tell me if I ever have the misfortune of having my car serviced there again!.

Having put a deposit on a used Duster we were contacted by Ellie who arranged for us to view vehicle. From the moment we met Ellie we knew we were in safe hands. Ellie was an absolute delight, friendly, respectful and professional at all times. The sale was completed to our complete satisfaction. Ellie is an absolute credit to the Team.

Absolutely appalling service. Within the last 5 wks there’s a list of quite serious issues that all of a sudden have arisen, but not when it was serviced at Toomey Southend !!! Service advisors don’t call and update you, they send out check in online and quite clearly don’t read the comments that you leave , tell you things that quite clearly don’t need replacing, if I didn’t have things double checked by others I would be paying this incompetent Company a lot of money !!! Incompetent staff, General Manager that quite clearly needs to reassess staff!!!

Incredibly easy going staff, made everything so easy for me, great service, Liam young lad who served me was top class, really helped me out, kind, approachable and provided great service. Thankyou

My Dacia Duster was serviced and had MOT in May. A month later the Service Light came on. I phoned Toomeys and they said pop the car in and we will turn the light off. I drove from Burnham to Rochford and after the car was taken to their Workshop. I was the told they had not been able to the light off, but I could book the car in for diagnostic @ £150. I declined and took the car to an independent repairer, who first of cleared a number of codes from the ECU which although not the reason for the light coming on should have been picked up when the car was serviced and also when I returned to get the light turned off. That having been said the Independent family owned repairer using scanner turned the light off in a matter 10minutes, COST £25.If the Independent garage could turn it off the the Main Dealer must have been able to do it.
