I had a lovely experience with one of the staff members at Chelsea Triyoga, Michele, who was friendly and accommodating. 5-stars to pleasent customer service!

Great teachers/awful staff!
I used to love tri-yoga but since it has been sold, I have found non teaching staff to be pretty awful. Do you they know ( or indeed care?) at all about yoga?. On-line class was not happening today due to technical problems but I wasn’t notified. When I rang to see if there was a problem they were indifferent/unhelpful bordering on rude. Apparently I now need to formally request a refund. As long as teachers continue to be as amazing as they always have been, I will probably continue to go but some kind of integrity has definitely be lost here. No one even acknowledges people as they arrive or leave the building.
Misleading salespeople, shady membership policies, nonexistent customer service
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with a recent membership issue and unexpected charges.
In February 2024, I visited TriYoga with the intention of purchasing a one-month membership. I specifically inquired about the possibility of splitting the payment between my card and a credit card belonging to my friend, who resides in the USA (as a one month membership was a birthday gift to me from her).
The staff member at the front desk explicitly confirmed the option of a one-month membership and attempted to process the split payment. Unfortunately, a technical issue arose. I was then presented with two options: wait for the issue to be resolved, possibly missing my scheduled class, or complete the payment online later.
Due to time constraints, I opted to finalize the payment online later. However, based on the information provided by a TriYoga staff member, I was under the clear impression that the membership was for a single month only.
To my and Daniela's complete surprise, we recently discovered that TriYoga has been charging her credit card for a membership since February. Neither I nor Daniela received any communication regarding recurring charges or a confirmation of a multi-month membership purchase. Never once have we received any emails from TriYoga concerning this supposed membership. There is also no clear record on my account details within the TriYoga system that clarifies the cost of this membership. I also never attended TriYoga again after that first month at TriYoga.
When I contacted TriYoga on May 15th to address these unauthorized charges, I was informed that membership cancellation requires written notification, as per their terms and conditions. While I understand the importance of clear communication on both ends, I was demonstrably misled by the staff member at the front desk.
Given the misinformation provided and the lack of any confirmation or reminder regarding recurring charges, I requested a full refund for all membership fees charged to my friend’s credit card since March. Additionally, I requested reimbursement for any foreign transaction fees incurred due to the international payment processing.
Furthermore, I requested the immediate cancellation of this membership.
The situation has resulted in my friend being unknowingly charged for a service she (or I) never used, causing significant emotional strain. I believe this is a direct consequence of the miscommunication that occurred during my initial visit.
I trusted that TriYoga would take responsibility for this error and promptly address my requests for a complete refund, foreign transaction fee compensation, and immediate membership cancellation.
However, they did not. They responded to my email on May 22, misspelling my name and saying, “I have can see that you purchased the membership online and the terms and conditions were email to you after the purchase.” They then shared an email that I supposedly should have received. I had not received such an email, if any ever from them. My email box is not putting messages of theirs on spam, etc.
TriYoga refused to refund my friend and I but did say, “As a goodwill we can offer you credit for the months that you didn't come into the studio, this can be used for treatments, workshops or classes this can also be gifted.”
I begrudgingly accepted the compromise. However despite two email inquiries asking TriYoga how to access such credits, no one has responded to me It is now June.
In short, I have not received ANY confirmation that my initial membership is canceled. I have not received ANY notification as to how to use supposed post credits. And I have never dealt with a more shady yoga studio in my entire life.
I went to an intermediate reformer…
I went to an intermediate reformer Pilates class and I was fairly new, had only gone to about 2-3 other classes at other studios. The instructor, Yvonne, was extremely rude and had no patience. While I did the best I could she was very clearly annoyed with me and other members of the class. This was quite literally the worst experience I had at a yoga studio. She should not be allowed to teach.
Thanks very much.2.2.2.
Dreadful or non existent customer…
Dreadful or non existent customer service. Rubbish app and system with credits that’s totally outdated. Some teachers are decent but they are poorly treated by triyoga
Great for those in need of a hip…
Great for those in need of a hip healthy lifestyle, some of the teachers are fairly knowledgeable with the theory/mechanics of yoga they look the part dressed in all the right trendy gear and great for teenagers or wannabe trendy types . Not the best place for those on a true soul seeking path however those kind of places are going to be rare and difficult to find in the UK
Very dishonest billing practices
Very dishonest billing practices. I had an issue with charges for a membership (which I didn’t intend to commit to.) I have called four times and written three emails. They promise to get back to me but never do. I have now paid them over £1000 in monthly membership bills and have never been to their studio once. That’s bad yoga!
Triyoga Ealing - Awful!
Have a purposefully non transparent membership, that indicates a 30 day cancellation period but is manipulated to force the customer to pay to the next billing period regardless?! Completely unethical.
Some classes are oversubscribed and yet the centre crams people into studio rooms despite conditions being uncomfortable for those that practice.
Unpleasant experience, avoid.
awful customer service
awful customer service. You have an option to freeze your membership for a month which I was trying to do after an small operation after which I wasn't allowed to exercise for some 6-8 weeks. Went to Shoreditch studio, was told to email and that a doctor note will be required lol. Thanks but I will not be sharing private and confidential information with a gym/studio. Nowhere on the contract it says such thing is necessary. Basically completely misleading sales pitch and customer service non existent. Send few emails, message them on FB, nothing. Pathetic since I pay £170 per month. Trying to cancel my membership now, website is useless, emails not answered, will probably have to send a letter lol Would alert everyone to stay clear form this place
Best yoga studio in London
Great classes, environment and customer service. Triyoga is friendly, welcoming, reasonable, diverse from teachers to staff to classes. I go there all the time and it's such a pleasure.
I wish the prices were more competitive so I'd always book through Triyoga directly rather than through third parties, but you really can't beat the quality of this studio anywhere else.
Triyoga has great teachers but is let…
Triyoga has great teachers but is let down by a ghastly booking system that is so complex and has so many glitches. They have £80 of my money held in credit and the site refuses to let me book a class without paying again
Patient and interpersonal customer service
I just want to say what a lovely company to deal with. I have been indecisive with my membership, cancelling and rejoing and messing around really, due to my mental health issues. But Kassie at Triyoga has been such a delight in handling me and my drama. She has made me feel welcome and shown the upmost patience and interpersonal customer service support I’ve ever encountered.
I’ve also been practicing yoga for 20 years and Triyoga really has the best teachers all round, highly trained and every class is a delight to be in. Highly recommend Triyoga.
Consistently excellent
Consistently excellent. I love that I can attend any class style at any time of the week and always learn something new.
Nice calm atmosphere
Really nice calm atmosphere. I have only been for treatments rather than the classes, but have found the experience to be really relaxing. I did however attend 1 free yoga class which was overcrowded and not really something I felt I wanted to repeat.
I am however most disappointed that Triyoga don't have a gym area that matches their open airy feel and natural wooden aesthetic. I think it would make a much more peaceful environment to go to the gym. Rather than going to most gyms in my area that feel more like nightclubs and a place to show off.
The front desk staff are really…
The front desk staff are really personable and friendly and the studios are lovely and flooded with natural light. None of the classes I've attended have been too crowded and they have changing rooms with blow dryers etc if needed.
