Tuckers is a traditional butcher, established in 1984 in Penclawdd on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales. The business originally supplied the local community with fresh meat, frozen goods and groceries from the shop and through a home delivery service. We couple traditional butchery practices with modern cutting styles to produce high quality cuts of Gower meat suitable for any menu. Our meat is sourced as livestock from farms on Gower and surrounding areas and carry out all our butchery from carcass form, providing full traceability from farm to your door.

Outstanding Welsh produce from a proper traditional butcher that cares about quality and provenance supplying the best that South wales has to offer the discerning food enthusiast.Just try their own dry cured, streaky bacon. It’s the best I’ve ever tasted. Fair prices, prompt delivery on ‘choose you’re own dates’, at reasonable cost, in sustainable, insulated packing.

One item was a bit below par, which would have been very hard to check before cooking, and their customer services department was right on the ball.

Beautiful, tender and flavoursome meat. Love salt marsh lamb and this totally lived up to our expectations. Lovely sized joints, well packed and delivered fresh and on time. Our Xmas dinner was beautiful! I highly recommend purchasing from this shop and will definitely do so again without hesitation.

Very easy to order online. Excellent service. I was unable to collect on the given date and it was kept until next day. Very helpful and friendly service.

Excellent produce and service
As usual, quality produce. I ordered online, pick up was easy, exactly as described and ordered. My only, small, criticism was that there was one queue only, so those who had prepaid also had to wait sometimes behind people who were buying large amounts. This was a little frustrating.
